I felt the same when I watched this MV for the first time, but I needed to review it twice to understand what really happened. It was kinda hard for me to streamline the whole story in my head, and even after 2 days I'm still in shock. I loved this MV and the music itself so hard that I recommended to watch this masterpiece to everyone I know (who is LGBT friendly of course, here is some problems with it in my country, Kazakhstan). And, yep, they all were crazy (someone a bit more, someone a bit less) after watching this:)))))

Nguyễn Trần Trung Quân - the singer and Emperor - is the valedictorian of Vietnam National Academy of Music. He had spent 8 years studying piano and 2yrs to get Master degree in music. At the age 23, when still studying at academy, he started to training professional singers and many of them now are top A artists in Vietnam. As a result many people in showbi, usually call him "national teacher". He is also an examiner of many music contests. Quân has spent many years to produce music and train singers so when he came back, audience forgot him. He had a difficult time but luckily his family is rich enough to support finance for him. He organized 28th birthday some days ago by going to Lào Cai a remote area of Vietnam to do charity. Quân is also a rich artist in showbiz.

Ticket is too cheap for a fan meeting so I ensure that it will be out of pocket. Most of singers after producing MV have to earn money. I dont know how is he rich to organize non-profit fan meeting after paying millions of dollars to buy house and make MV. He said that he never wanted to earn money from fans and just sell tickets to prevent virtual subscribers. Although I know many artists but I have never seen an artist like him.

Lmao according to my information, singer Nguyễn Trần Trung Quân was awared Dedication Award for first album. when he was 23. Dedication Award is called "Grammy of Vietnam" and just extremely excellent artists who have dedicated for many years with many hits can be awarded.
The story line is here: the King and Queen was a couple because of arrange mariage. Therefore, they are not very happy at all, and no one love each others by true heart. The Queen had fell in love with the White hair Guy, but their relationship was found out by the King, so the White Guy disguised in an assassin suit, and he was killed by the King. In order to conceal his identification, the Queen had thrown fire on his corpse, then collected his hair so that she could use magic to resurrect him. However, there was some sort of mistakes during the ritual, the White guy revived but he fell in love with the King, not her. Being dissapointed, the Queen decided to awake him by the heart-shaped necklace, but it didn't make sense cause he had already love the King, nothing cann't change. That's why in the last scene, he sacrisficed himself for the one he truly loved. P/s: the Queen actually loved the White hair guy a lot. If you noticed the last dead scene of both of them, you would see the Queen was still holding tight a part of the White hair guy's blouse and the action of piercing through the King in oder to save her true love.

Denis Đặng aka Lotus Guy is the creative director who had written script for Mv before Quân and the main director checked and edited. He was born in 93, younger than Quân 1yr and had graduated from 1st economic university in Vietnam before got scholarship of France. He dropped all to follow dream: art and his family had criticized him during a long time. Quân is his first friend and who discovered his talent, guided him to become a famous creative director as now. They have been friends for 6 years and live together, have couple clothes, couple jewellery and couple rings.
Yeah I sort of realised at the end haha.....lol, I thought it was their wedding at the start haha. I have watched the MV so many times now, to see every detail of it :D

Basically the Queen and The Gray hair guy had an affair and were in love. When the King came into the chamber, the Gray hair guy pretended to be a assassin as to reduce any suspicion. The guy gets an arrow in the heart and the Queen burns him before the King can find out. While the King is on the boat, the Queen gathers the Gray guy's hair and necklace and uses black magic to bring him back to life through the magic lotus. The magic lotus coincidentally appears in front of the king and that is when the King pulls him out of the water and he falls immediately in love with him. ( You have to keep in mind of the way the King is portrayed in the music video as feminine because that explains his love for the same sex and that he was probably force to marry the Queen, which is a typical thing back in the day for the purpose of bearing a child to inherit the throne in the future. This was done on purpose to show that he is not your stereotypical masculine ruler. ) The King and the Gray guy end up falling in love and you can see the Queen upset, but she is upset because the Gray hair guy had forgotten about her due to the fact that he was reborn and has not recounted that memory. The Queen then enters the Gray hair guy's room and tries to make out with him to jump start his memory, but it doesn't work. But once she connects his pair of the necklace with her, his memory comes back of them falling in love. Now he is stuck with the memory of a love with her as well as a new love with the King. Meanwhile this is happening, the king discovers what is going on. At the end of the video, the King tries to kill the Queen out of both dishonesty and jealousy , but the gray hair guy saves her. He ends up sacrificing himself again to save his new love. This is the same thing he did the first time with his love for the Queen where he also died because of love. The first time he got killed through the front by the King he now loves and the second time he gets killed by the Queen he did love. Pretty amazing storyline if you ask me. Hopefully this helps clears things up!

While the King is on the boat, the Queen gathers the Gray guy's hair and necklace and uses black magic to bring him back to life through the magic lotus. The magic lotus coincidentally appears in front of the king and that is when the King pulls him out of the water and he falls immediately in love with him. ( You have to keep in mind of the way the King is portrayed in the music video as feminine because that explains his love for the same sex and that he was probably force to marry the Queen, which is a typical thing back in the day for the purpose of bearing a child to inherit the throne in the future. This was done on purpose to show that he is not your stereotypical masculine ruler. ) The King and the Gray guy end up falling in love and you can see the Queen upset, but she is upset because the Gray hair guy had forgotten about her due to the fact that he was reborn and has not recounted that memory. The Queen then enters the Gray hair guy's room and tries to make out with him to jump start his memory, but it doesn't work. But once she connects his pair of the necklace with her, his memory comes back of them falling in love. Now he is stuck with the memory of a love with her as well as a new love with the King. Meanwhile this is happening, the king discovers what is going on. At the end of the video, the King tries to kill the Queen out of both dishonesty and jealousy , but the gray hair guy saves her. He ends up sacrificing himself again to save his new love. This is the same thing he did the first time with his love for the Queen where he also died because of love. The first time he got killed through the front by the King he now loves and the second time he gets killed by the Queen he did love. Pretty amazing storyline if you ask me. Hopefully this helps clears things up!
