As an engineering mgr I started noticing that the lack of engineering skills started falling off around 2000. In my experience the Universities started lowering standards for graduates at that time just so they could increase tuition cash flow! I also noticed that most of those with the title medical doctor were of less abilities! It’s sad that standards have dropped so much! I’m am glad that I retired!

These people are all qualified for the position. They didn’t just give the position to some random black person. Not only would this be extremely unusual, but diversity also helps people of non-white races find trust in a medical system that has mistreated them for so long

But how do you know whether someone wasnt the best or not based on appearance.
True Story. Drove 2k miles with my adult daughter for a job, left her with the car and flew home. First flight cockpit door was opened. Copilot looked like an LGBTQ woman, pilot (wearing a mask yet) was an African American man.
They may have been number one and number two in their class. I dont know. But for the first time in my life i was worried a little on that flight.
The point is you want to know that they are the best. And the only way to do that is to only accept the best, no matter race, religion or sexual identity.
    That's my two cents.

But I don't want someone who doesn't know what they are doing that was hired to meet some quota operating on me. I think he may be wrong about his idea that DEI hires, in medicine, will result in more death or injury and therefore be corrected... They (the untrustworthy medical establishment) will simply skew the stats... They will lie. There are certain medical stats tat are NOT recorded at all. For example, death from anesthesia, simply not tracked.

Lmao, who would ever say yes to this? If I was in a hospital and was told I need brain surgery and can either have the person operate on me cause he or she was super smart and got good grades. Or I could get operated on by the person who got the job because there aren't enough people doing it that looks like him or her. I would be like um, I know I need brain surgery and all so I might not be in my right mind, but I 100% want that first person and am completely confused why the second is even an option. I would then smile as I was put under cause I'd know if this place was dumb enough to hire that second person, I will definitely be smart enough to figure out how to not pay this 6 figure bill I'm about to get.

How could a Brain Surgeon be hired as an equity hire? Wouldnt they have graduated medical school, gone through fellowship, and have to have passed the boards? I want to understand the logic behind that specific title of the video. Same thing as pilot licenses.. you have to have a certain number of hours and performance level that meets licensing standards. Other statements make sense as far as defunding the police is foolish and believe all women as if women dont lie… we have to separate reality from demonic thoughts… People should and in most cases be hired on merit. These examples though are not good ones. And the thought that any minority who has a job is an equity hire is a thought from hell. Be careful where your mind goes

Um, I went to school with a lot of people, and we all graduated but some of them are absolute morons. Just cause you go to school doesn't make you smart. It's all about how well do you do compared to others. 100 people graduated from dental school this year. You get to hire just one. Do you want to hire the person who graduated head of class or was given the lowest grade possible cause he/she turned in some make up assignment to bump that grade up from failing to passing? Keep in mind that person who got the bump is a minority. So who are you hiring? Who do you want working on your teeth? Just think a little bit. It's not about race. What if that person who just passed is part of the majority? Just don't hire that idiot. Things like body parts and race should never, ever, ever apply. Who did the best? Who is an idiot? Pick the first to work for you. Pick the first to work on you. Let the other find a different job where it won't be as big of a deal when he/she inevitably messes up. Why is that political or hard to understand? It's just simple logic.
