- In this conversation, Bill Vanderbush and Jason discuss the shift from a desperate, performance-based Christianity to living in the goodness and simplicity of Christ. They explore the concept of the goodness of God and the danger of limited perception. They also touch on the deconstructed community and the reformational period the body of Christ is going through.
The conversation emphasizes the importance of living in union with Christ and beholding His authentic nature. Overall, the discussion highlights the need to embrace astonishment, wonder, and the simplicity of the gospel. Bill discusses his book 'Unveiled Horizon' and the motivation behind writing it for his children and future generations. He shares how the book resonated more with the New Age market than the Christian market, highlighting the disillusionment with Western Christianity and its organizational structures.
Bill talks about rediscovering neglected verses and the process of deconstructing his faith to focus on the goodness of God. He emphasizes the importance of resting in the finished work of the cross and the journey of radical commitment. The guys also explore the story of Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane and the concept of the long game of love. They dive into reconciliation and living in alignment with God's intention. Bill emphasizes the importance of understanding and experiencing the fruit of the covenant that is available to us through Jesus.
The conversation explores justice and dismantling paradigms, removing accusation, and living in our true identity. It concludes with a discussion on universalism and the long game of love.

Listening for a bit now… “come on” is my new catch phrase. ITS MINE. You can’t have it back 😬
Wow guys! This is beyond the wisdom of men. Hinds feet on high places, so to speak. Amen!
So thankful for Bill and the way he imparts grace!
So good! Not to judge or criticise those in our history, loving those who are still in that camp!
Loved that thought as well :)
I loved this whole entire conversation! Love you guys. You’re the best. Hope Derek gets the internet straightened out. He was missed. ❤
So much fun talking with Bill! Derek and I plan on just the two of us doing a podcast - soon.
❤
You Brothers were beautifully riffing off each other. Very enjoyable.
Love when that happens, and Bill is easy to riff with, haha!
Love you as usual! My girls are still wondering from that law based gospel! But His grace love and mercy SO profound!
It’s all about the Father’s love for His family!
AMEN!
Great conversation fellas
Thanks!
Wow! This is so good! I'm doing some writing and searching for language... This gives me sooo much! Thanks guys.... And by the way, I was right there with you in the "blue smoke" so many years ago. God is good, all the time🙏❣️😎
I love the way I am growing and expanding around language - there seems to be a profoundly beautiful awakeing taking place!
Such an awesome discussion, throughly enjoying this!
Thanks, me too!!
Jason didn’t say “I’m a relational theologian” not even once in this episode. Well done Jason😂
I'll have to say it twice in the next one to make up for it😂😂
But he’s still say he’s not an academic or an intellectual! 😅
It is not love to leave people in blindness! Yes yes yes
So good!!
😂oh no. The chime in the background is still following you. I want to hear what you have to say but that crazy chime in the background is sooooo distracting. Can you please consider the “less is more” principle or use something more melodic and subtle?
I DO love your content and have been very blessed by some of your interviews
Some 150-plus podcasts - still there :)
“Amazing face”? Is that the title of a new song, pray tell?
Not a bad idea haha
❤ please dear brother, you have wandered off the path of scripture books are good but you must also compare what you're reading to scripture Jesus is the way the truth the life not man. This message leaves out repentance and a walk with God and obedience. Please reconsider your ways and study the word of God I bless you but I asked you to repent and come back😮
