So if you don't know that what's a GSI and what is the difference between a GSI and custom rom so Google everything to know properly but in simple words GSI or generic system image are those ROMs which are flashble on any android devices .

I have an Umidigi Bison 2021 so installing a custom rom is clearly not an option at the moment. Not even flashing them because I can't even install a custom recovery in my phone XD so I can at least upgrade with DSU, it's literally the only way.
My confusion came when I couldn't install any image in spite of my device being fully compatible with Treble. Turns out my phone was not the issue, it was the images for being based upon AOSP instead of Pixel

Of course you can try on every phone. You just need to keep your bootloader unlocked and keep your device rooted 🙂🙂.
@@topiatv.official Phones that don't have A/B partition don't support this , only phone with dynamic partitions support this , so it won't work on every phone , don't spread misinformation..

Force reboot the phone? Mine rebooted itself and it booted back to the main partition
What if the GSI we choose is not suitable? what will happen?
Just reboot your device if your phone gets stuck on bootloop while flashing the non suitable gsi
It will reboot to your original system
This actually works, but when i did it i realized that i only get access to a maximum of 46gb of internal storage after installing. Is there a way to get the maximum amount (for me its 128gb) of storage. This is the only thing thats holding this method back. And i also used the adb commands on my pc to allow for repeat reboot cycles without going back to the original OS. Yet still a max if 45gb. And if there isn't a way to do this then how about a way to flash these dsu file similar to custom ROMs because I can't find the ROMs for my Tecno spark 5 pro.
Una de las formas es activar las opciones de desarrollador en la app dsu loader, se hace entrando a ajustes y tocando en la imagen de la app varias veces, luego te va a aparecer una opción donde desactiva el límite de almacenamiento, ten en cuenta que aún con esa opción no podrás tener 128 GB, yo en mi Motorola g32 de 128 GB e podido solamente usar 85 GB de almacenamiento

@@user-xi4vw7nf2d Please I need to know how you were able to allocate 84gb out of 128gb. Because when I did some testing I observed that if you go above about 50gb it fails and says in the logs that
"the extent is too large" even after enabling developer option and enabling "disable storage check" if I go above 50gb it gives errors. Does the app version you used vary from the lastest version (2.03 (8) ). Please respond I need to know.
@@rayhan9185 use la versión 2.03 exactamente, posiblemente tienes que bajarle un poco los GB asignados, ya que cuando le asignas más GB de lo que puede instalar da algunos errores, prueba asignando menos GB
Y una pregunta, ¿Cómo has echo para poder reiniciar varias veces en el sistema Gsi de dsu siloader? Ya que no encuentro forma de poder reiniciar varias veces en esa gsi

Unlocked bootloader? And what root manager do you have. If it gets stuck in bootload you can just restart it will boot up to the stock os
