  • The session will guide on how to determine whether two correlation coefficients are significantly different from each other, given the two correlation coefficients and their associated sample sizes. Values returned include the probability value and the z-score for the significance test. A probability value of less than 0.05 indicates that the two correlation coefficients are significantly different from each other.

Thanks for vedio. I was wondering if the procedure can be applied to test the difference of correlation coefficients for Spearman rho??

Thanks for the great explanation! I also have a question Sir, what statistical treatment will I use if I want to know the significant difference between two correlations but in more than two groups, for example, age range from 18-20, 21-23, and 24-26? Is this possible?

Thanks for watching. You have calculate differences between each pair and then make comparisons.

Hello I have a question. The results of the calculator produce the propability value - which helps us determine the significance, but what does the z-score mean? Great video btw :)

      Thanks for your interest.
A z-score is a statistical measure that quantifies the distance between the mean of the two scores in terms of the standard deviation, to assess if the distance is significant, we need to calculate p-value.

Dr. Sb. I have one question. I have watched your smart pls webinar and it really helped me to understand many things which I never new. I want to know how to measure the degree / intensity of significance among the variables using smart pls. Second how to measure gap (service expectations vs service delivery) using smart pls. I am highly thankful to you for all the videos.

Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Smart-PLS is a variance based tool. If you only would like to just find differences in SE and SD, then you should use SPSS as a before and after situation. Like rating of respondent on service before receiving the service and rating after receiving service.
