hello, I have a silly question but first I want to thank you for this video. What a beautiful build. The stories you create with the builds... It's true otherworldly multimedia. You are actively opening the door to the other world. That is very very nice. I have bought a bunch of the thin long plastic nozzles for the super glue. I wanted to ask, how do you implement them? Do you cut open several of the tiny super glue tubes and pour the glue into some bigger container and put the nozzle on? Isn't the pouring and exposure to air detrimental? I am doing a lot of miniatures gluing and painting and really want to start using this precise nozzles but I don't know how to set them up. Thank you, whoever can advise me!
Excellent question! I may include this in my next video, but here’s the steps: first I cut off a bit of the back end of the attachment tips (it’s too long to fit on the superglue nozzle as is). Next, I add a bit of UV resin to the outsides of the superglue nozzle (being careful not to get any on the hole). Finally I stick the attachment onto the nozzle and cure with a UV light. This gives me a perfect seal.
@@gameyybuilds i thought of a kinda cool idea that you could maybe add to your beyond the blight world and was wondering what you thought. I was wondering if you could build a mech suit type thing piloted by a little kid alien that protects a small self sustaining town but the town doesnt know theres a living being inside so they never give him food so he has to sneak food from the village while keeping his existence a secret
I love how with just about every modeler, kitbasher, and builder on this side of RUclips, there is at least one thing in every build that isn't what it should normally be (i.e a train becoming a whole building) and it's super cool to see all the ways people use random stuff they found.
Dude, the plumbing or electrical conduits that go from the building into the ground take this from great to incredible. It’s your attention to detail that is getting you the recognition you deserve. Also, congrats on that Skillshare sponsorship!
I love how one build will have a nod in Miyazaki's direction, while another might be Moebius-ward of your other scenes, or even have a hunk of Ralph Maquarrie peppered and windswept under the soil and spores. The fact that these locations, separated in space and time, all have notably different aesthetics gives Aegis a feeling of verisimilitude that lots of worldbuilding projects lack.
This morning I watched another RUclipsrs video and he made a wild imaginary west town hall, and now I’m watching a dystopian futuristic build 😂 two very different styles and both incredibly fantastic, it’s always nice to see two of my favorite creators post on the same day.
Better Idea for why a mail drop is needed is interstellar communication will be noisy at best considering all the back ground emf. Then there is computers will get so fast that encryption is pointless and the old computer programmer saying of you can't beat the band width of the trunk of a Buick. Which means you can transport 1000, 10-Peta bite drives in the truck of a car and drive them across country faster than you could move that data on the internet. Great modeling .
I love the way you had to come up with all the interesting ways to justify a post service, but there's a reason we have PO boxes and still get post. Sometimes it's just cheaper...
If I'm not mistaken, the airship has some Aerial DNA in it, right? The skirt and Gund Bits 😅 I love how your videos have something for everyone. Be it crafting techniques, art painting, storytelling. It's the whole package. Thank you for putting in all the effort and time to share your creativity with us.
I'm not super knowledgeable on the various Gundam suits, but I believe you are right! (Typically I buy my Gundam parts from giant junk lots on Ebay, so the models come in pieces)
took a chance on this video and ended up falling a little bit in love with you as an artist. i enjoyed the story IMMENSELY, and the build is stunning. even the *sketches* i would pay money for, let alone the fully lined and painted pieces i can’t wait to watch every one of your videos ☺️
So, so good. Love the roof tiles, signs, pattern on the foundation and the utility pole in particular. I always like the occasional peak at the language of the world. How many words/signs are in the glossary so far?
Everything you do is outstanding, from the things you build to the story! If I can make my channel half as good as yours I'll die a happy man! Thank you for all your videos, they are inspirational and extremely entertaining! Cheers!
Once again, amazong work across the board. I truly loved watching you do alot more scrath building on this one. It turned out so good. I think my favorite part was the littke packages with the big tape. That there is what yoh call a happy accident! Great work my friend.
I can't believe it's been almost two years!!! My how that time has flown. Yours is a fantastic channel, and I always look forward to your new episodes. Thank you!!
This is one of my favorite builds of this series. I just feels so cozy and the story is amazing! I feel like the Droid Dun encounter was KP13O1 sence his description matches the droids look. However that clif hanger Dun leaves us with is criminal. Also, side note but Fadashes voice makes me think that he looks like a lizard wearing a yellow rain coat lol
Adore this structure, it really excites the imagination for what these larger cities look like. Wonderful short story as well, for some reason I feel really compelled by nosey neighbour Faresh. Perhaps he returns someday? His curiosity leads him somewhere he shouldn't or we get a glimpse of the docks he works at?
Gameyyy once a gain beautiful pieces of art build, sketch, and story wise. You always are able to stitch together such wonderful stories with the smallest of details in your work. Thank you for spreading your work! I have always loved your work so thank you so much.
Amazing and I love that you have back stories as to why you chose what the building is and why your world has it, Taking a old toy and turning into something something new is very clever, I will look over other videos in this lot to see your world build. You Got a Subscriber :)
I was wondering why you were taking a voice class when you were talking about skill share, but then I heard the voices you did for the story, and I was blown away. Your really good at them
Thanks so much! I find that keeping the voices consistent is the biggest challenge, so I've been trying to improve, and these short stories are great practice for me. Really enjoyed that Skillshare class too, lots of practical tips I'd never heard of.
what I like about your merch (recently got one of your shirts) it's it's just a badass design, not branding. People compliment me because I'm wearing a cool shirt when I go out
What a wonderful work we get to see each time ! The storytelling is getting so much better with the passing of time too ! I feel like a child each time I learn a new video is on the way. I can’t wait to see what you will invent and create this year ! I wish you a Happy new year and a lot of wonderful things !
Dude great music selection! You should make a book of all your concept art. Definitely something I would be interested in. I know it's probably more of a personal battle to determine if you should buy things that are already built. But if you had my vote, I'd say go for it. You are still making art. You are creating something fantastic. No need to make it harder on yourself. Your voice acting on point!!!! Great story. Very immersive with your descriptions.
Thanks for the input! I'm on the same page. While scratch building is nice for the personal challenge, ultimately I want to create finished works, and it'd be nice to speed up my process!
I have that exact caboose that I picked up at a thrift store a couple years ago. Never knew what I’d do with it because of the weird scale but this definitely gives me some ideas :)) awesome build as always!!
God i love your builds! I do have a question tho, would you ever consider doing a cameo to yourself in the world? If so, where would you work? What reagon, would you tinker in bots or just be a humble fisherman? Just curious
Interesting question. I’m not really sure if I’d ever want to do that, I think it’s more interesting being the worldbuilder than an inhabitant of said world!
Man I love the bidding you do here, everything seems so alien yet familiar and in a way comforting. It feels very lived in and cared for, still in that comfort there is sense of knowing that, it will never get easier, never a chance to escape from the precipice of the inevitable end
I have to say that your stories with these amazing builds never fail to have me enthralled! Also your use of music during the story was exceptional, I was getting anxious just listening to it 😂 the build is fantastic, great work as always!
This is excellent - from your initial concept artwork to the final model and its accompanying storyline! Those 'toy' trains you used as the basis for this project have incredible detail and scratch building potential. Do you know who makes them? (As an aside, please consider some kind of railroad subject - an armored train or railcar, perhaps - with the leftover wheels and fittings for a future project . . . .) As for what your local Dollar Store staff might think of you; it's probably that you're an artist or model builder of some kind. I suspect they see plenty of hobbyists passing through over the course of any given week. They do here where I live . . . . 670th like.
Dude, that was epic as usual, very well done... Just wanted to say got the T-Shirts I bot early Jan and they're amazing as well. The quality is superior to most Tees and I look forward to these lasting decades; I do, however, plan on keeping them at least that long... LOL... I look forward to investing in more shirts/stuff soon as they are worth the money. Keep up the great work...
I do hope one day you can Do a REAL Book on this hole story! I would SOOO BUY IT!! Even if they were short stories! This Build is AMAZING! SO Inspiring! NICE WORK!!!
I love how you can turn random garbage into excellent dioramas. Also, what do you use for your concept sketches? The pen looks really good, same with the colored markers.
this video randomly popped up for me and whoa that looks amazing! and the story? and language? i'm in awe of your skill! conlangs are pain and you just made one for signs. wow, i'm definitely sticking around for next videos
Hello. I've been watching you for quite a while, and I look forward to each episode. You've been an inspiration for my own world building. I don't do dioramas, I write and do illustration, but the way you create an art piece and then short story surrounding it has shown me how well that formula works. Hope you don't mind. I'm going to borrow your formula with my own project. I appreciate your effort! Keep up the good work.
Thank you for showing us your wonderful creation and sharing the story that goes with it. I love that your work is connected to a world and characters you are building. That is amazing 😍

"What Dunn didn't know was that Fafesh's fingers were now fast at work on the transmitter concealed within his coat pocket."
Another amazing build, the storyline was a bit close to the heart, as someone who has lost a spouse, there is a level of this that is relatable.
Glad my little parts were of some use to you. The story is riveting and I can’t wait to get my hands on the book when it comes to life.
They worked out great! Thank you!
