Why is Jim Chaivezl podcast taken down ???? I caught a few shorts of it and it was one of the only podcasts of Shawn's that I haven't seen. Ty for your education on mental health? I have been struggling for years in Canada. Just struggling to get help ... Not being able to afford therapy. I have found Jesus and God, 🙏 I am letting Jesus and God help me with my mental health instead of pills... God bless you both... Ty so much for your service and sacrifices you have made in your lives...❤❤❤. The world appreciates you all ...
Crazy to think that anyone could ever think that the life he has lived up to now is “boring”. Right out of the gate he tells how he was “tortured” and lit on “fire”… 🤯
Is he seriously just gonna ease over " engaging" 5 .... Count them people 5 guys with a freaking handgun😮 who is this guy😂😂. And don't Forget we have already seen him go into COD 1st person shooter mode !!! As if he had a code put in. Not giving 2 F**ks, that he was by himself on foreign soil. ... Or the fact he was laughing those gigantic clackers around 😂😂
As an ex member of the UK military, I'm sitting listening to this man's story with tremendous pride. But with equal measure, absolute anger at the way members of our British establishment, have shown their total contempt for his unwavering courage. Shame on them all. I for one feel humbled. AWAY THE LADS.
@@jamesoshea580???? They just tried to show face in their captured contempt ?? He would NOT have received it if it did NOT go as viral as it did . So the contemptuous nature of this disgusting estasblishment of the UK (That hates British people BTW) is absolutely VALID from Mr Baker .
@FURTIVEGESTURESErm no it isn't LMAO we're still the best country along with the best military in the world. If anything the US is the lost cause because we are nowhere near as bad as them simple as that.
During his farewell address, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower stated the following: "beware of the military industrial complex." He meant, keep an eye on their growth, as they are capable of tampering with our freedom(s) by skewing the truth, creating false narratives and manufacturing propaganda. He wasn't wrong to be so blunt.

Dear Christian, we are deeply grateful, and we will be more than happy to return the favor. May God bless you.
As a British Citizen I am so proud of a man like this . What a guy .The Absolute Best of Who We Are. End Our government and establishment are an utter disgrace. Our people citizens must support men like this CRAIG YOU ARE THE MAN
Well said. As a fellow Brit I couldn't agree more. All our politicians now (with very few exceptions) are total corrupt lying treasonous scum who only serve themselves and the WEF.
He got an MBE. Can’t get much more recognition than a Nobel Prize. :-) People talk about being proud that he’s British, or the UK & America being proud. It’s really without borders, physical or mental. Because Chris is an extraordinary HUMAN BEING. Chris did what he did, without hesitation, knowing he could die. That is REALLY what a hero is-people think they are sportsmen & stars, but this man personified it. I thank the Universe for giving this man to be a role model to our children of the world. I just got to the “rough justice” part & it’s harsh. I would want to pass some sort of judgement. Rather, my brain tells me to-that I should. But I can’t. Because like him, these are all the events who made him the person who he is. The person who is a hero. He is honest and modest and himself. A person to be admired. We never know our purpose in life or why things happen. This possibly gives a reason. Preparation for the future.
Mr. Craighead. If you read this. I just want to let you know that there are people who have been bullied, raped, abused, abandoned and other unmentionables as a child and look to people like you for guidance and hope. Your words, your experiences, your stories, your trauma, it matters....and it helps.
I heard him and cried couple of times during this interview. I feel he is heartbroken, he really feels so betrayed and disappointed. He is very sad beneath his calm appearance. He is such a good soul and a guardian of the divine light.
It's hard to fulfill your highest calling..leaving you to wonder..was that it? What could possibly be bigger than that??? When you achieve such a heroic feat, that was powering your entire existence since 4 years old..I imagine you may think that was your peak, you submitted Mt Everest, so to speak. Are there any more mountains to climb? What now? I understand it would be a bewilderment. Like Olympians that train their whole life and finally win the 🎖️. You can't just return to the gym on the corner in your old neighborhood on the following Saturday. You literally OUTGREW your own existence. Only God can tell Him what's next. Other people advice will just fall flat....head n shoulders above the rest of civilization. Who can speak into such a ❤️. What a champion 🏆
On behalf of all British citizens, we thank you for your service. Your courage, actions and sacrifices that day do not go unnoticed. Your unwavering bravery and selfless actions have not only touched the lives of them you saved but have inspired gratitude and admiration. You are the true spirit of a hero!!! Thank you Christian 🫡 🇬🇧🇬🇧 Shame on our government but we the people stand with you!🇬🇧
Mate... honestly ..save your American thankyou for your service bullshit....just by writing that everyone knows your not from the UK...we choose to serve...we don't need a round of applause at seaworld for a feelgood factor
It's actually quite refreshing seeing a man with this amount of valor without any kind of media training or coaching just being visibility nervous about talking about himself. It's just not something you'd expect and he's just being human. Great interview 🤙
Completely humble, not yelling and screaming look at me, look what I did. Instead doing the exact opposite, and saying he really can’t discuss it. Nervous and a little shaky on camera. Just a great down to earth dude. Someone that does the UK proud. One of the real hero’s, not some toffy nosed asshole in a suit, taking all the credit from the actual people that do the work. I’m 100% sure this is why the British establishment have bound him up so tight. They all wanted his to be kept anonymous and they wanted to take responsibility for his actions. Pretending to be the ones who were actually responsible for the rescue. Thanks to them and nobody else, they sent in some un-named member of the SAS. Someone who will stay anonymous, but for whom they personally will be happy taking all the credit for, and shaking all the hands of the leaders of thankful nations. Th acts why they hate him. Jealously!
@@Discrete222watch the other interviews. Look at how well they tell their stories, how composed they are. Bit too much of a coincidence for them to be great public speakers

I lost both legs in Afghanistan over a decade ago and I still struggle to find purpose. A lot of us do, so you are not alone Chris. You are not a “one time use tool” I can assure you that brother. You have a lot to offer still as you can see by all of the comments on this interview of people you have helped. Nothing will ever compare to the sense of service we got from the military but there are always ways we can still be of service to others.
You are still more whole than a lot of people will ever be. You dared to put it all on the line for others. Many will never step up in the first place. That's strength. Massive respect. Thank you for being you.
You’re here. Wherever here is. Pain is not to gain any matter but from above, Connecting and creating we find love. It’s dark and uncomfortable, cold, still, wet with doubts. To the light of honor and happiness you’re Here. God bless brother. Thank you for your service to us all in each country
I hope from my small little niche in cold Canada here that god blesses you in this life and next. Thank you for sacrificing your safety and being willing to fight for the shared principles of our two countries. We owe veterans such as yourself a great debt for the courage it takes to put it all on the line for us.
Christian, your comment that you never let an argument go unresolved, hits home for me. My high school girlfriend and I had a fight while I was 8 months into my enlistment. She was killed in a car wreck the following weekend. I carried guilt for years that the last words she heard from me was in anger. About three years later I dreamed of her, we where having coffee at a cafe and I said how sorry I was. She said that she had forgave me and that I could let the guilt go. To this day I believe her spirit met me to allow me to grow and learn. It was a lesson that I try to follow through with today.
Training, taxidriver, haircut, shower, hostage rescue then home in time for a cuppa. Different breed. Legend. Craig you are a hero and it's great to know we still have people like you still in our country. The government has let you down but the people will stand with you. Thankyou for your service
You skipped over the only reason he was able to do this s thing… the angel in his car that blessed him. Its Gods glory more than this man who god used. I’m not minimizing Christian he is a family member in Christ but the angel with the sword is the ENTIRE story!
@@mrironsights2463 it’s obvious it’s over your head sweetie. He told you himself he was given powers by the angel man. God blessed him. Hi Shawn, I am really happy that you had Mr. Craighead on. As a Kenyan who was going to the University that is right next to the Dusit D2 mall at the time it was attacked, I am very much thankful for Christian and his selfless actions that day. He is forever a legend in Kenya.
Shawn Ryan is doing something that needs to be done for such a long time coming. I have lost many Marines to suicide and having Shawn bringing the guests that he has on this platform has been amazing and eye-opening in so many different ways. So honored to be a pay member to help out with your cause. Semper fi brother.
I think about this all the time. If you’re over a certain age you were probably told not to ask vets about their experiences….and heck it seemed like they didn’t want to talk. But it’s sad thinking about how many stoic men from WW2 or even Vietnam are dying off and they are taking their stories with them. And from a certain perspective those stories are American history and that’s ultimately what Shawn is respectfully prying out of them But after watching 100+ hours of his show I’m starting to wonder about the stoic men in my life who passed on…..cause some of these guys are just as stoic but on some level it seems like them sharing is almost therapeutic. Ti just get it out one good time In a nutshell it makes me want to reach out to a guy I know. We have a great relationship but he’s never said much about his time spent operating Lastly….Shawn is filling a void. This is niche’y content but its so good
@@davidaldridge5716 Well during World War 2 and even some parts of the population of America during Vietnam, the citizenry was much more naive than they are now, and at least part of it was naive during the Vietnam era, but World War 2 ? Very nice population karma so the men were stoic not to protect themselves, but in my opinion it was to protect the innocence of their family. But now we're in the generation of live leak, and innocence has sort of been lost which makes the fact that we're running towards war even more concerning

Most people dont realise just how important tea is ! Us Brits will literaly stop in the middle of a firefight to get "a brew on" if necessary!! No one example captures how deeply tea drinking was embedded in the fabric of British everyday life than the decision of the government in 1942 to buy up every available pound of tea from every country in the world except Japan.!!! I believe the crown jewels were moved into about 3 seperate locations to protect them from german bombs, tea was housed in over 500 locations !
such an earnest and honest moment 😅 we really are like that. No matter the circumstances, we'll find ourselves thinking "aw I could use a wee cuppa tea about now, that'll help." Severe trauma, heartache, loss, hostage situation... tea afterwards is the beginning to healing.
Watching this through, Christian is basically a man with a good heart. Tough, brutal journey, but he is a moral man. Good on him and I hope he has every success, he’s earned it.
Idk if "self-centered" is the right word for it, but he definitely has some stuff he needs to work on. That was blatantly obvious throughout the entire interview. But hey man, not to take anything away from insanely honorable and distinguished career, I guess I'm just saying we all got stuff we need to work on LOL Even the guys terrorist look at as the boogeyman😅
As a Brit and ex-British Soldier. This whole story pisses me right off to the highest order. To be clear, nothing at all negative about Christian Craighead, he is 100% a hero and deserves the highest recognition and accolades for his actions that day. The fact that he was so well received by the American diplomats and even POTUS warms my heart. What pisses me off to the heights of everything, is how he has been treated by the British establishment. This to me comes down to pure jealousy! Nothing more. I imagine the only reason it pisses off senior member of the MOD and Military is that they can’t claim that they personally sent him in. As I’m sure it’s actually them that wanted all this attention, they wanted to be the ones having their hands shook by the President of the United States and they wanted to be special guests of the Ambassador to the UK. They wanted to take control of this situation, after the fact of course, and they wanted people the praise them, calling them the hero for sending in a sledgehammer, whom I’m sure that they would have never ever mentioned the name of Christian Craighead, instead saying it’s an Un-named soldier that must stay un-named for national security reasons. This is the type of shit you see from senior member of the MOD and politicians. The SAS are a staple in British society, we very rarely hear anything about their heroics until years later, and even then, very rarely hear of the people involved directly. Instead, we hear from State Department officials pretending to be the men responsible, even though we all know full well, that they are all most likely much too afraid to even kill a spider that has invaded their bathroom, never mind, a fully armed element of Al-Shabaab, a highly trained and motivated, well armed terrorists, wearing S-Vests who are willing to kill themselves while taking out a hotel full of foreign visitors. This is the real reason this poor dude is going through hell here. Cowards wanting credit for the actions of hero’s. I’m so glad he moved to the States. May God bless Christian Craighead, and God bless all the members of the SAS and Security forces as a whole. I hope Karma comes back to bite all those assholes standing in his way. They don’t deserve to kiss the bottom of his dirty boots. All this could have been avoided had they swallowed their undeserved pride and shook his hand and congratulated him for saving British lives, along with all the other foreign visitors.
"It was only my grandmother who really knew me, who really believed in me and really saw me for who I was. She knew I was different and without my grandmother I don't know what would have happened to me." I had the exact same relationship with my grandma. She understood me, she taught me values, she gave me power to make my own choices and helped me understand when I made the wrong ones. Having two older brother and a younger sister I was the middle child. She listened to me, she saw me, she was everything to me. I believe I was 12 when she died. I was absolutely devastated. I'm 34 now (born in 89) and I've lost other family, close friends, one of my brothers. I seem to deal with death pretty well, it makes sense I get why they die and it doesn't really give me a huge emotional reaction. But to this day I can just randomly think about my grandmother and I'll realize in that moment that I've never gotten over losing her.

This interview was absolutely amazing for me. My huge takeaway was that Chris would burst into tears completely spontaneously for some time after his heroic rescue in Nairobi. I went to Vietnam in 1967 and for several years after returning I would burst into tears with no provocation. He is the first guy I ever heard say that and I never shared that with the guys I Served with. That was extraordinary for me to hear. Shawn is doing a great thing with his podcast. Thank You.
My father was in the British Army WW II and I have a lot of issues with him, the greatest problem for me (one of them): I saw him never cry - never in nearly 7o years. He can´t show emotions at all, he can´t speak about. For me, that is sad. To all other men: show your emotions, its a gift.
Just shows that even the most badass elite operators in the world have doubts and insecurities just like all of us. I respect Chris for being open and honest.
Fascinating interview. Christian is so far removed from the 'Hollywood' portrayal of a Special Forces guy. Nervous disposition, slight speech impediment, vulnerable, but still absolutely kick ass with the correct moral compass. Now wouldn't the life story of Obi Wan Nairobi make a great movie....
Saw the thumbnail and my heart dropped cause this episode hit close to home , my dad was staying in the hotel and just happened to go to a meeting not too far away that very day in Nairobi .couldn't think of what would happened to him if he stayed that day but I'm glad there was somobody covered in spirit to do what others could not .Thank you Christian Craighead🙏🙏🙏
(As a former Royal Marines Commando) I know that the vast majority of the U.K. fully support Chris. It’s the Political class, and those who bow to them, who do not. Great podcast, as always. Thank you both 🙏
I've watched this interview a couple of times and it gets to me every time. Christian is obviously traumatized and seems like no one has pointed out to him there's treatment out there, readily available. It's not enough to treat him as a hero, we have to see beyond his actions and offer help. Shawn, answering "why do you care what people think of you?" is hard. It's hard being asked that question. This isn't unmanly, it's a consequence of trauma and constantly being in survival mode. I hope Christian has the support he deserves. All the best mate, you're more than just a hero on a pedestal.
I agree as someone who has dealt with trauma , your statement is very true sometimes the individual isn’t aware they actually would benefit from professional help.
Growing up in the UK in specific environments was and is brutal. It makes you or breaks you. Christian speaks for the many warriors still standing, some with uniforms, some without. Him handing over a bible says it all. True warrior. I salute you Christian. 🙏🏼😎

The only reason he’s on podcasts is because people have heard stories about him and wanted him on. He did not seek out any media attention. But what he did do was serve his country for decades doing one of the deadliest jobs and after retiring he performed one of the bravest acts this century saving countless lives mostly by himself. The high level pissing contest that the British establishment got into in no way reflects on the respect us Americans have for the skill and heart that the SAS personnel possess. I am a Veteran and your show has hit home so much. This was an amazing show, thank you for interviewing Christian. I am so proud of hearing of someone that acted on conviction to save and help others. I have a son who wants to go into the military and he has the same standard to protect others. I wanted to say that media and culture has be emasculating men and boy for so long. Protecting and saving others is a core value of men. It's hard to hear that the military is being steered by political parties. You are amazing Christian! Thank you sharing! Thank you Shawn for interviewing him.
Thank you for your service and thanks to your family and loved ones for supporting your service. Prayers for your son in his future endeavors. Thank You.
Im sure you wont see it Shawn but if you do, thank you brother. ER doctor having a lot of mental doubt and down a dark path due to some work experience and this interview and Dom's interview have helped pull me back on my feet. Literally dusted off my rosary and faith and helped me stand back up on my feet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
as a fellow ER HCP we don't talk about the trauma and challenges we face in our own little wars of the ER. I have had my own struggles as well. Stand tall.
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” - Romans 12:12. I have experienced legitimate hardship and questioned my faith, I do NOT have all of the answers. But, perhaps this verse will help you to continue to get back up and return to a brighter path.
you guys are doing some of the most important work that a human can do, every day, with nowhere near enough support or thanks. You're literally heroes. Everyone who works in an ER is a warrior to me, there are few jobs as vital to human life or as challenging as that work. Thank you thank you thank you.
What an extremely HUMBLE and HONORABLE man! To recognize and admit your flaws and insecurities is not an easy thing to do. Give it time and continue to tell your story brother! Your a true man amongst men!

The evolution of the Shawn Ryan show has been nothing short of spectacular, this show is so damn good, not even mentioning how incredibly important these subjects are and how much these men & women deserve a platform to speak. I’m a Canadian tradesman and I’m proud of every single one of these truly remarkably special people. Thank you Shawn.
Christian and Shawn and like 2 brothers from a different mother…both stand up men that have core values and are spreading the “stand up” message…they are now social crusaders of morals and ethics. Cheers to you both 🇬🇧🇺🇸
I am Canadian and my English coworker just told me your story several days ago and then RUclips showed me this podcast. Truly an impressive story and man, Thank you for your service.
To Chris Craighead... this was one of the toughest interviews I have watched in a long time. There were so many wise words and revelations shared. Just how you spoke about all of the chaos/abuse in your early childhood... it was tough to hear it. But when you said, all that chaos was training that molded you to be the right person for that moment; that there are no enemies or friends - just teachers. You transformed something within me, just by sharing your stories and wisdom... and to think that you were worried about not being interesting enough. You are beyond interesting...
Not positive but this podcast may have in part saved my life and was a reaffirmation of a past faith I once held. Truly a masterclass story and a message of spiritual intervention that you can trust and learn from. Thank you for the hardships you both have personally endured, and all who are carrying the burden for the good of our wonderful world and recounting the experience to allow for us to see into the reality of what it takes to maintain our livelihoods, and how it's possible for us to endure as free people. God bless all those who thanklessly struggle with the repercussions of combat and military operations so our children have what the last 4 generations have painstakingly maintained throughout all of our Great Nation's histories. Thank you Chris and, thank you Shawn. You've done me a great service this day and throughout my 28 years that I will never forget.
Thank God for men like this 🙏 as a Veteran of the British Army I have the upmost respect for Chris and a huge well done to Shawn for his guidance and sensitivity through this interview.
This guy is an ACTUAL hero. Your government could have used your heroism to benefit the country but instead they turned their back on you. Great podcast, great guest and great interview Shawn.
I remember exactly where I was when the Kenya rescue by Christian went into action. It cannot be overstated what a true hero this man is. He stepped up with no regard for himself with the sole purpose to help save the lives of innocent people whom he did not know. Chris stepped into the fire and came out the other side as a true hero. Thank you SRS for another outstanding podcast and THANK YOU Chris for showing the world what it is to step up and do the right thing when the chips are down. ❤

People talk about being proud that he’s British, or the UK & America being proud.

You deserve much more likes for this heart-felt post.

British government treats military and especially ex service men and women terribly
@@weechill333 not all the time but it happens unfortunately.
Yeah I just don't get it. Makes me really hate the British government though I am an American and know very little about it.
The word HERO is thrown very easily....THIS man is a hero!! Well done sir.
Message to Chris from Scottish UK citizen. The entire country is insanely proud of what you did and I am proud that you were serving defending me, my family and friends throughout your career. You did your job perfectly and saved a lot of lives. Our government is awful right now and they should have your back no matter what but unfortunately that's not the case, but just remember the British public will always have your back mate. Stick to your guns and change will come. Take care of yourself dude you're a legend! o7
Aussie and NZ too. A real living breathing legend that brings respect to the services.
King of hearts.
I'm a Northern Irish UK citizen, and family are ex forces. Dad is Scottish, Falkirk, ex Para served in different wars, and here too. I love our British soldiers. Only our government needs a good slap.
Do they "defend" us?
From who?
Well said Jock 🇬🇧🙏
I think the true poison of this country all lies in London
This was lowkey a therapy session Chris needed. Shawn asked questions well and allowed Chris to open up and explore his inner thoughts and barriers, which I dont think he has before. Great podcast and more Brits needed on SRS!

I am from the UK and I could not be prouder to have a guy from the UK do such a selfless act.
And when he spoke about the angel.
My whole body went goosebumpy wow.. ❤
Wow, this man floors me. He is so humble, so human, and yet he became a superhero. I think it's a good thing he met Shawn, he sounds like he could do well with some friends who have been to similar places in life. And...we get him here in the United States. I hope he becomes a citizen.
I know almost everyone here listening is either American or British, but as a proud American man who is married to a beautiful Kenyan woman, Kenyans are some of the most amazing, beautiful souls on the face of the planet; and I want to thank you Chris for saving so many beautiful souls that day. The U.K. government doesn't want independent thinking people who are brave enough to think they can make a difference. They don't want us to be inspired, but we are! Thank you for sharing and for shining your bright light. I'm so proud you're flying the flag 🙏✨️
I'm from the UK and I can't tell you how proud I am of Christian Craighead. He is a true legend. I just want to say thanks to him.😊
Here in the U.K. we are extremely proud of you and the SAS.
Chris, I’m a man from Manchester, England. I’d like to thank you for your service for our country and also thank you for the lives you saved.
I’m a 39 yo and went through some shit as a child, your story had tears rolling down my eyes and I’m not normally an emotional person. This UK government are a fucking disgrace and don’t deserve people like you serving in war zones for them.
I hope one day, you can find peace and live the rest of your life as happy as you deserve. 👏
Thanks to Shawn for bringing this hero to our screens. No1 podcast without a doubt.
I no longer live in the UK,but it appears Palestinian Protestors are more appreciated by the Politicians and many of the Public ( Who often have no real connection with the country& subsequently their not proud or Patriotic or just lack respect and an appreciation for the Military!)
But at least in the U.S they are ( with still room for improvement)
@@jerryoshea3116 I totally agree there. We have no national pride that I seen in my youth. We have some influential people who are finally being heard. Hopefully it’s not too late. I hope I don’t have to move form England but if it keeps on going the way it is, I may have to.

Thank You.
Sorry you went through all that and still suffer.
Thank you for your service 🙏 . My Grandpa is a marine that served in Vietnam. “Once a Marine always a Marine”
That’s why their the best they overcome the complications it’s as simple as this never stop till what you’ve set out to do is achieved LL THE SAS🇬🇧

Christian is such a humble guy ....... A very emotive podcast.
Speech impediment???
Saw the thumbnail and my heart dropped cause this episode hit close to home , my dad was staying in the hotel and just happened to go to a meeting not too far away that very day in Nairobi .couldn't think of what would happened to him if he stayed that day but I'm glad there was somobody covered in spirit to do what others could not .Thank you Christian Craighead🙏🙏🙏
Christian Craighead is a Warrior who understands obedience, honor, and love fir his fellow man. Wow, this guy is incredible!
Spot on. You worded this so beautifully that I can't fault it, not that I planned to haha. I was trying to compose the same msg but gave up as it wasn't coming out properly then saw your comment and smiled. Thank you.
I don't know if Christian is reading this or Shawn Ryan but this is the first podcast I've ever listened to and yeah it hit me hard, in a lot of ways. Christian, you've done more things than you will ever know, and there are a lot of people that are a lot like you that haven't done heroic things. You're not alone.
Right with you

@@ImperiumRacinghow do you know him? Or do you think you know him because of how he’s portrayed on the internet?
@@Discrete222 I have watched several hours of interviews on multiple podcasts with him and done some internet research on him because his story is so incredible. He is a true badass and humble af. The only reason he’s on podcasts is because people have heard stories about him and wanted him on. He did not seek out any media attention. But what he did do was serve his country for decades doing one of the deadliest jobs and after retiring he performed one of the bravest acts this century saving countless lives mostly by himself. He also doesn’t spill the beans on much of his military training or military experience because he is a professional (refreshing considering a TON of Americans are now giving out every detail of their service just to make a name and some money). So no I haven’t met him, but with average intelligence and some effort you can get a great read on people. Maybe you need to watch some more of him to realize it’s not “how the internet portrays him” he’s a legit badass. What does that even mean anyways, dudes been on only a few podcasts hahah the internet isn’t trying to do anything with this guy.
Maybe you need to level yourself up like the previous commenter because you both are clearly jealous of this man’s success in life.

It's a very different world in the Uk now. A tragic event occurred A group of firemen failed to rescue a woman who had fallen down a disused mine. Look up the story of Alison Hume who was left for hours, to die. It says it all about bosses and a collective mindset of no responsibility.

My father served in WW2 in the desert in the early days of the SAS, he too would be proud of those that have followed the tradition!
The high level pissing contest that the British establishment got into in no way reflects on the respect us Americans have for the skill and heart that the SAS personnel possess. For hundreds of years now from the time of the red coat marines serving on ships through modern times these men are recognized as consistently among the best trained, most effective and distinguished fighters in the world.
