The name is Piaractus brachypomus (Red Bellied Pacu). It is native to South America . Indians started breeding this in India

So are these fish pacu or red bellied piranha ? We can only tell by looking at their teeth - pacu having human like teeth and piranha having sharp pointed teeth. Also, the pacu is a much larger fish than the piranha. These look like pacu, but the curved mouths of some look like piranha. Can someone confirm please ?

Samdarshi Abhinav thai mangur fish is 100 times danger than pacu fish ..clarius batraculus is not bad but clarius gariclus is harmfull to humen body..pacu eat chicken also but not attacking humen..see I am taking production of pacu also ..and it's banned spacies but recently icar scientist declared this is not pirhana and main feed is green algae..so it could consume
