  • This router has it all! WireGaurd Server and Client capabilities, Dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, it can be an access point, repeater; it's got open source software for the OS. It's power efficient, doesn't get too hot. The WiFi can be incredibly fast on the 5GHz DFS channels. I'm just overall impress with this thing. Very cool entry into the networking world.

    I have the OG Flint, worked really well. The AP performance was fantastic, but I didn't like the software on it. I needed something like Omada for my needs, which is what I switched to. But when I move out of my house somewhat soon, I'll put the Flint back because for simple home use it was fantastic.

    • @SPXLabs
      @SPXLabs  6 месяцев назад

      Oh interesting! That’s funny because I feel the opposite, I like this more than Omada because it’s simple and then they have the advanced pages for more nitty gritty activity. Maybe the old software is different?

    Do you have any results on the speed while tethering or in repeater mode? My old GL-AR750 doesn't have the best hardware so I think I'm loosing bandwidth from it, but I wanted to know how this one was.

    • @SPXLabs

    I received the #glinet #mt6000, and I am very disappointed, the wifi is unstable, my speed varies between 300mb/s and 650mb/s with the same device and at the same distance, support response "go see a link on the wifi in real world", the joke a link that treats more than up to the AC. Don’t buy this fake router.
