It's intentional. The speedometer often shows a speed that's about 10% higher than the actual speed for safety reasons, and this is common in many vehicles.
It’s been 3 months since I got my vehicle. You are right in almost all aspects. Added to that until today I am having app issues and scooter software issues which is stopping me from setting up proximity unlock, vacation mode regen braking options and scooter sharing features. Have been following up Ola service guys and they seem to be having lesser knowledge than me and just saying that an update will come soon. However, leaving the complicated gimmicky features aside, I’m satisfied with the core functionality of the scooter which is the ride quality, pickup and I’m ok with the range also which is somewhere around 85km per charge in normal mode. It is insanely better than an ICE scooter in its core responsibilities that too when the prices of S1X+ and Activa are pretty much comparable. I might not recommend a pro variant for its price but for the money you pay, this seems to be a good buy.
Don't buy an OLA bike. I bought the OLA S1x 4kHw 5 days ago the system issue came up and the bike didn't ride. I left it at the OLA service center, no right answer don't buy ola don't be fooled no service
