I think [Nelver - What It Is] (6:54) transitioning [Maduk - Colours] is one of the smoothest I've ever heard, and is underrated. That shit gives me chills. I love the vocals in the background mixing with a completely different song, then going into an absolutely amazing song on its own. I've listened to most of the yearmixes and nothing else compares. Drum n Bass changed my life thanks to songs like these. Maduk is truly a master at his craft.

This mix is my favorite ever! I had an extremely profound mushroom trip to it actually! I was going through a falling out with a friend/twin flame who was also my rave bae and I was facing a lot of things within myself and trying to heal. I thought without him, I'd never feel the party energy ever again, not to mention all the other energy that's consistent with twin flames. I went on a 3km hike out to a lighthouse in the middle of the night on lake Ontario, just as one of the biggest storms of the summer was brewing over the lake, and as the lighting drew closer, I watched in awe while tripping a bit. The storm took an unexpected turn coming straight towards me and suddenly lighting was touching down all around me, yet no rain!!!! I danced crazy out by the lighthouse and suddenly two small animals ran towards me and nearly passed under my feet making it for the bushes..... Obviously taking cover! It got wild! A huge round squall line developed and I mean huge.... It was super slow moving so I had time to enjoy my hike with this blaring in my ears and dancing wildly thoughout the changing terrain....only the lighting to lead my way through the various pathways through the forest, up out onto small cliffs over the bay.... Everything turned into almost half reality and half painting and the squall line rounded out to look like a huge spaceship half the size of lake Ontario! I wasn't scared at all and danced and danced in my barefeet all the way back to my boat at the marina as the mix ended.... About 30 feet from my boat and the rain came crashing down.... It was quite the wild storm in the safety of my boat! The timing was unreal.... I had the biggest mushroom breakthrough, learning that I was my own best friend, that I was capable, strong, and could have the best time of my life by myself. Two years later I'm going solo to festivals.... Just small ones, but headed alone to EDC Las Vegas in under two weeks now. I've come a long way:) I will also be going to Liquicity Festival 2022, possibly solo. I can't wait. And it all started with this mix:)
Why do I want to go to Liquicity when I'm old enough? Not because of the great music, but the great experience involved in a beautiful festival hell-bent on making us happy, and never failing. This is a perfect example as it shows how music isn't just some random string of waves and vibrations, it's something that brings out or world, not for what it will be, but what it is.

This mix literally changed my life, I heard it in xQc's stream back in early 2021 and I fell in love with drum & bass. I have gone to countless dnb parties in my area since then and travelled to festivals to see artists from the Liquicity lineup, meeting cool people and experiencing different places all because of these tunes.

I think the first 10 minutes of this mix are some of the most well mixed and fluid transitions I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

I think [Nelver - What It Is] (6:54) transitioning [Maduk - Colours] is one of the smoothest I've ever heard, and is underrated. That shit gives me chills. I love the vocals in the background mixing with a completely different song, then going into an absolutely amazing song on its own. I've listened to most of the yearmixes and nothing else compares. Drum n Bass changed my life thanks to songs like these. Maduk is truly a master at his craft.
Dude, I also love the attention to the animation as well. Like you know shit is about to go down when you see the Colours spectrum show up.I also love how the "Slices" that match up with Colours continues into Believe

This mix is my favorite ever! I had an extremely profound mushroom trip to it actually! I was going through a falling out with a friend/twin flame who was also my rave bae and I was facing a lot of things within myself and trying to heal. I thought without him, I'd never feel the party energy ever again, not to mention all the other energy that's consistent with twin flames.
I went on a 3km hike out to a lighthouse in the middle of the night on lake Ontario, just as one of the biggest storms of the summer was brewing over the lake, and as the lighting drew closer, I watched in awe while tripping a bit. The storm took an unexpected turn coming straight towards me and suddenly lighting was touching down all around me, yet no rain!!!! I danced crazy out by the lighthouse and suddenly two small animals ran towards me and nearly passed under my feet making it for the bushes..... Obviously taking cover!
It got wild!
A huge round squall line developed and I mean huge.... It was super slow moving so I had time to enjoy my hike with this blaring in my ears and dancing wildly thoughout the changing terrain....only the lighting to lead my way through the various pathways through the forest, up out onto small cliffs over the bay....
Everything turned into almost half reality and half painting and the squall line rounded out to look like a huge spaceship half the size of lake Ontario! I wasn't scared at all and danced and danced in my barefeet all the way back to my boat at the marina as the mix ended....
About 30 feet from my boat and the rain came crashing down.... It was quite the wild storm in the safety of my boat! The timing was unreal....
I had the biggest mushroom breakthrough, learning that I was my own best friend, that I was capable, strong, and could have the best time of my life by myself.
Two years later I'm going solo to festivals.... Just small ones, but headed alone to EDC Las Vegas in under two weeks now. I've come a long way:) I will also be going to Liquicity Festival 2022, possibly solo. I can't wait.
And it all started with this mix:)

Why do I want to go to Liquicity when I'm old enough? Not because of the great music, but the great experience involved in a beautiful festival hell-bent on making us happy, and never failing. This is a perfect example as it shows how music isn't just some random string of waves and vibrations, it's something that brings out or world, not for what it will be, but what it is.
