it's really difficult when someone produces some minor errors and then gets 6/6.5 and someone else avoids these errors and gets 7/7.5 however he or she at the same level but focused more and it's a different result 1 band is a big deal. that's why sometimes I tend to TOEFL because it scored on 120 points, but the problem is the lack of materials compared to IELTS. do you agree with me Chris?
If you find it easier to pronounce it in a British accent then that's fine. English is English and shouldn't be taught just from one country ❤️ But I recommend to practice if you really want to sound like a native American. If not, then practice how you like and what's more comfortable.
I feel like the candidate misunderstood the use of AND. Like she thinks THEN is obligatory to put after AND. She frequently said AND THEN, AND THEN. I hope the examiner informed her about her this particular mistake.
If someone ask me about neighbors, just 3 words, i dont know haha i dont even know their faces, in vietnam, some women neighbors talk shit too much, hate them
Hey ! I just wanted to ask a couple of questions if you could answer- Q1. I have seen many candidates putting adjectives as and when the examiner asks them from the place they belong to which sounds quite absurd. So is it right to use ? Q2. What if a question comes in part 2 of the test which we cannot think of anything, what is the best to do at that time ? and What can we do to improve and score good in this test ? Thanks !
Why so picky about the pronunciations? IELTS should focus on communication ability using English. IRL native English speakers fail to make basic sounds of many other languages. Historically, they changed names of popular people, foods, and places of other languages and established them as correct pronunciation in English just because they could not make the correct sounds.
Pronunciation is like spelling; there are rules. It's true that if English speakers failed to make the sounds in other languages, they should be penalised in the language test of that language, too.
Grammatically, do you say Fruit or Fruits? The word fruit is a noun. The word is an exception where the noun is both countable and uncountable. So the plural of fruit can be either fruit or fruits. These English people with disability think we are idiots, rat bag most English speakers make so many mistakes in both writing and speaking, I would love to see this fool learn the girl's language and see how he does perform in pronouncing and speaking.
