Your 3's deck needs Gambit as a replacement option. The negative deck I use is very similiar (Sans Ironman and Psylock) and t6 gambit and surfer is so good. Gambit wins me so many games. I also have rhino in for bad locations but that's technically not necessary.

Surprised you didn't bring up Adam Warlock. Literally the biggest consistancy booster in a negative deck (at least he has been in my experiences). Played correctly he can get you the Mr. negative by the time you need it or get extra negatived draws for huge last turn finishers. Works best if you have another win condition within the deck that can win without Mr. Negative
The saddest thing I’ve recently learned about Mr Negative isn’t the deck inconsistency or the frequency of retreats… it’s that the Snap community has gotten smarter against him. To the point that if I drop Psy into Negative, most of my opponents just bail out of the game. So after finally assembling the power combos on curve after constant retreats, I don’t get to do my big combos for 4-8 cubes 😢
I find that you need to snap before turn 4 or 5 (if you have magik for my deck). If they assume you have an ideal hand it's most certainly a retreat. So I snap before they see too much of my archetype.
Mr Negative is my absolute favourite archetype to play - currently climbing with Negative On Reveal - if you get the right card draws, right combos, it's so much fun to play. I love using Wong, Ironheart and White Tiger on one lane and then t6 Odin for massive power play, Tiger Spirits to all locations + Ironheart's boosting
Actually, it would depend on if Zola's ability goes first or if Nimrond's. When Zola creates a copy of a card, it works as Zola playing the card. So Shuri's Lab would activate, making it a 40 power. Nimrod's ability, however, just "moves," making it not active Shuri's Lab.

Think negative is great for early players learning when to retreat and not lose more cubes then needed. And to also learn combos. I loved playing him when it was just psylovke.
That retreat montage is how I feel playing Mr Negative a lot of the time. Turn 5 Mr Negative is very useful, or having all your payoffs in hand without Mr Negative. But it is probably the most fun deck when it actually works, you get to do some silly stuff.
What's nice about using Negative with Zola, and other bombs is if you dont get Negative you have an out with that combo. As well you can windmill slam down Wong for another engine for craziness. That kind of deck is such a hot mess, but some of the most fun in the game imo.
Cozy: "We pulled EVERYTHING, except a Mr. Negative, so we can only hope this next card is--Black Panther. Fantastic." Cozy: "Mr. Negative coming right up... after Wong..." I come back to this video once a week for these lines!
Negative has a special place in my heart, my first infinite climb was with jane negative surfer (pre surfer nerf). It was such a good learning experience, I loved tracking my stats and showing my friends you can climb even with a 48% winrate if you're smart about snapping. Also negative iron man is just the best card in the game bar none.

Played venom into carnage on bar sinister then zola'd the venom on bar sinister, fast forward to a 1259 Knull. With venom in 2 locations with 375 and 133, needless to say my opponent didn't stay.

It can also go to 4k if the zolas hit the wong first so it triggers panther to double again 😂 it requires so much rng though first off you need the hand draws then you need kamar taj and then you need zola to hit the wong first I still have yet to pull that one off. Glad I got the 2k combo though
I think it took me 15 games before I got negative with ramp and able to pull off a full combo lol. First game had iceman hitting zabu, second game had the location that destroys the entire deck, drawing negative on T6, etc. Fun when it works out though!

Battle 5, you would've lost even if you hit with Zola, because you could only get one Nimrod on the left. The only difference is you would've won by more on the right, but that wouldn't matter. I noticed that before you played Nimrod and was wondering if you were thinking about it correctly. Should've done Panther, but I guess his Shang Chi would've ended your plans either way
The funniest way I've ramped Mr. negative out early was Psylock on 2, no negative top deck (of course). Jubilee turn 3, which pulled Zola. Then my first Jubilee copy pulled Mr. Negative and the second one pulled something crazy pretty sure it was my flipped iron man.

To Mr. Negative or not- see how many of the MR NEG Specialty carts (the zero power cards) are in your opening hand plus 2 rounds. If you've drawn the Iron Man, Zola, Mystique and BP, probably better to go the Wong route.
NO F-ING WAY! I just built a negative home brew deck that has been working beautifully! I can even outmatch Thanos and Shuri decks (half the time lol). Hopefully the meta isn't flooded and my deck can still have its surprise factor.

I think Magik should swap in for absorbing man. She isn’t a 4 cost but that extra draw is so clutch. And if she comes out on turn 4 or 5 after negative is a 5 power play
For every 8 cube game you get with this deck you'll have 10 losses. Love trying new decks out but I lost 5 ranks trying to get it working. Still fun though

In the second game if you had just played nimrod or BP left you would have won because his presumed Knull wouldn’t have had the nimrod’s power. Just a minor thing since galactus was heavily telegraphed.

I have a great combo where you play Ebony Man add Viper together on turn 3, the reason is because they can’t play at that location

Ive tried lots of Mr. Negative decks and the best one is the Bast + Sera version, Sera is a good backup when you don't draw negative on time

I've had Venom in most of my negative lists for a long time now, just to make some board space. Nimrod makes it feel like actual synergy now.
