Man! Even in mid-2022, There are so few People who know about Power Query. I am so blessed that I came around your video. You've not only got a Subscriber but a Fan Also. Love Your Work Chandoo Sir!
I think I follow you for more than 10 years now. I simply believe you are providing the best course on excel that we find online. It s funny and nice to see you in video while in the past you a misterious person . :-) Thank for all these years of dedication and teaching
Great video on PQ. One thing I recommend for anyone learning it, make or download some sample data sets to use and combine in it and start just playing around with it. Spend 30 mins to an hour everyday just seeing what the features do and what you can do with it. You will learn how to optimize and master PQ in no time, probably less than a couple weeks :) And once you learn it, you will love it and it will become second nature to you, don't get overwhelmed!
I have been looking for information and courses on Power Query and Power BI mostly here on RUclips. You are hands down the best tutor I have found and your pacing and presentation are excellent. I can’t thank you enough for the massive amount of work you put into your channel. I have learned a lot just by watching and that’s without the downloads and the following along which I will do presently.
Thank you for this! I am an RN, not a data analyst, but this video has shown me some possibilities that will help me in knowing what to ask our IT team to create what I need to transform my departments data tracking.
I would like to thank you so much for sharing this video. This is going to help me a lot in my upcoming projects. This means a lot to me. You are a life saver and may God bless you abundantly for sharing your valuable knowledge.

One complete lesson, longer than a standard normal football game. Well done amidst these pandemic days, troublesome waters, challenging times, Dear Purna Duggirala. You ARE awesome since I first discovered you in 2008.
Your course content is amazing . Thanks for providing workbook to practice. There is no benefit of these videos when reading workbook is not uploaded. These material really help to implement the learnings side by side. I learned a lot. Thank you!!
Thanks Chandoo! This video is exactly what I needed for a tough problem I’ve been working on lately. I’ve been tying myself in knots for the last couple of weeks trying to figure out how to efficiently merge and append 10 different large spreadsheets that will update on an occasional basis. And, I was doing it all with just native Excel formulas. Let’s just say it wasn’t very pretty. Thanks for showing me how to do it the right way!
I have been following you since 2014. Thanks for putting this altogether. As always, your videos are always easy to understand and apply and informative. It'll help me crack interview and get the desired job.
Thank you Chandoo for all you've shared over the years... and still at it. You taught me that Excel is AWESOME many years ago. Now that I've entered into the "Power" realms, your knowledge is still blowing me away. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

But after watching this Video Tutorial i learnt alot. Happy to say We are indians Jai Hind Jai Bharat Thanks alot again bhai. Have a good Day....
Well done Chandoo, quite a comprehensive video. I would also talk about renaming your steps using words familiar to you like "change null to others" so that it is easy when you come back to amend your query in future.
That is a great suggestion EW. I normally don't bother with naming them unless I am building queries for others. I also suggest using the "properties" on steps to set descriptive comments.
This was an excellent tutorial I learned a lot with this, now I realise I was doing so many things manually could be done smartly. Thanks a lot Mr. Chandoo
Chandon, this is a very helpful course! I really appreciate the Mind Map approach to put the Power Query architecture in perspective from the outset. Before seeing your video, I felt like I was trying to reverse engineer what Power Query is all about. I’m interested in how to capture my monthly portfolio performance reports, transforming them in a standard format and appending them to a running data set of monthly performance data. That’s my goal. Hoping to learn the right terms and techniques to make this happen.
Really brilliant tutorial in explaining basics and step by step understanding of PQE. We also look forward to more of little advanced PQ. Also request you to please explain when we need to transpose data in PQ , ESPECIALLY when data contains double headers ( in some columns there are double headers and in some single headers.) . Thank you.
Really appreciate your simplicity in explaining these concepts with such ease. I really wonder why so less likes. Thank you for increasing my knowledge.
Hey Chandoo, Thanks a lot for all your videos. It is very helpful, especially this one. I learn a lot from your videos and complete my tasks in a easier way. I have a question, can we merge 2 different workbooks in power query and perform aggregation functions like sum and count in power query? Could you please upload a video on that
Please show how to append, merge 2 or more Bank pdf statements using Power Query to get full year data in Excel format Table for further Pivot Table Analysis 😅

This video is awesome; The examples were great and the pace of teaching was friendly. I recommend this training video over and over again. I enjoined every moment.
I had an experience that kept me rewinding the video over and over. I had to close the power query editor before trying it again, and after, I was back on track. However, I need clarity for next time on why I had that experience. The challenge was; During the appending part (Year 11 & Year 12), an additional "Year" column appeared, making it two different year columns. The first year had "Year 11 and null value" and second Year had "null value & Year 12". I would have combined the two columns and filtered out the null values, but this experience was not part of the video, which got me worried for a while before I decided to close the power query editor and started again. Anyways, that was my experience.
