Es mi parte favorita de la canción, esas voces adicionales durante el coro (algo como "shu shu shu shu" justo debajo del “you sure have changed since yesterday.”) y el "nana nana nana nana na" 🥰
Sunday Morning by No Doubt is a zestfful 90s alternative rock classic. I also enjoy the strong vocals and music mixed with fashionable storytelling lyrics in a charming tables turn in life type of way.
I remember those days, the way the sun would warm your face as you stared out the window with your eyes closed, cruising down the road with your friends. When everything was just around the corner and all those opportunities were in front of you. Snapshots of moments in time where you shared space with someone special and the sound from the speakers cemented those memories. Where the worst thing that could happen was getting over a hangover on Sunday morning around a table with your friends.
I love the feeling this video exudes, it looks like an actual sunday morning. That feeling you get when you’re hanging out with your friends after being out the night before, so fun!
And Fun Boy Three. The Specials inspired another famous Ska fans. Group of boys who called themselves Madness. Title of a song from Buster the king of Ska. I really enjoyed how No Doubt use the ska influence in many of their songs.
@@easkels Madness were not inspired by The Specials. Madness were formed a year before The Specials. Both bands were inspired by the original ska of the 1960s, which in turn inspired reggae. The Specials and Madness were part of the ska revival, colloquially known as "Two Tone Ska" after the record label formed by Jerry Dammers of The Specials, alongside bands such as The Selector, The Beat and Bad Manners.
This was my favorite song on the album back in the day (with "Hey You" as a close second), but I didn't think it had a snowball's chance in hell of becoming a single. Mainly because they had already released 4 singles, with "Excuse Me Mr." being the 4th and also probably my least favorite cut from the CD if I'm being honest. Yet I still remember writing in a fan letter to the band that if they released this as a single, then Tragic Kingdom would definitely go on to sell over 10 million copies. It was close at the time. A few months later, I had MTV on in the background. The TV was muted, but I could tell by the what I saw (the drummer tapping rapidly) that odds were pretty good it was Sunday Morning. And lo and behold, it was! I remember being so happy that day. As it turns out, the album has now sold over 16 million copies. I'll never know to this day if my letter played any part whatsoever, no matter how small, in this song becoming a single, but I'd like to think I did my part.
As someone recently really getting into No Doubt, I really love how heavily the band members are featured in both the music and the videos. Took me a few videos to realize the different male leads for the acting parts were also the band members!! Just genius & timeless 🖤
that's how a lot of music videos just were back then. every band member got to play a part. some of the funniest videos I remember were just the band members getting to screw around with a very loose script, like pavement's cut your hair
12/10/23 Sunday morning I’m a 36 yr old male from Maui and I’ll never forget when I went to there concert at the MACC. I was in 6th grade and we knew there was gonna be a lot of chicks haha Me and my friend made his sister take us then she ditched us in the concert haha but I remember the 90’s was all about having fun and not giving a shit! Nostalgic days!!! Thank you for the best childhood!!
Love No Doubt, and everything Gwen. Saw them a bunch of times at socal punk/ska shows in the 90's (Showcase, Soma, Glasshouse, etc.). I still love her new country stuff. Lifetime fan right here!
High School years, although my homies and me where more in to hip hop and metal, we had special love for Gwen and No Doubt, she was our platonic love, I remember at that time that a lot of girls tried to look like her, Southern California in the mid 90’s was the shhhh
Cuando tenía 15 años, solía poner está canción al taco para disfrutarla. Estaba enamorado de esta belleza de mujer y disfrutaba de este grupazo que es No Doubt. Hoy con 43 años me sigue volando la cabeza....
Tragic kingdom was the first cd i bought. I was 13 or 14 and learned almost all the songs on guitar. Man those were good days.....i miss the 90s ....*sigh*

Es mi parte favorita de la canción, esas voces adicionales durante el coro (algo como "shu shu shu shu" justo debajo del “you sure have changed since yesterday.”) y el "nana nana nana nana na" 🥰
if No Doubt did a tour where they played Tragic Kingdom front-to-back i'd be one of the first people buying tickets. this is the best ND album.
Jack Nunley I will be right behind you pal
One of my favorite No Doubt songs. It has everything!!!
Cmon don't make me cry now.
THIS.
Why are you doing this :(
That was so deep but accurate
wanna actually cry, remembering those times.. :-// they're not coming back.. :-((
Ayse Ozhan ugh me too😭
I am trying to build those times now... failin' but tryin'😅
That's the problem with our youth. We dont appreciate it until it's gone.
I rem my dad yelling at us all for running and my grandpa saying, if we all still ran around like that we'd be in pretty good shape. be free
I thought the same thing.. Makes me sad haha
i used to listen to this song nonstop back in the 90's :) just totally fall in love with sound of her voice.
Michał Rószkiewicz I listen to it 11 years ago
Michał Rószkiewicz I used to rock out to this in te early 2000's with my little cd player I thought I was the shit
Wooooo
Amazing voice!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who the fucks Lucy?
I can't (and can) believe that Tragic Kingdom and their music videos still hold up so well in 2024. LOVE IT.
I needed that blast from the past… What a great song from a historic album.
This is so fun to play on drums! Such a dynamic drum piece.
I love the feeling this video exudes, it looks like an actual sunday morning. That feeling you get when you’re hanging out with your friends after being out the night before, so fun!
was here. the pinnacle of remastering. remastering must bring these songs back to the surface, allowing them to shine once more.
If you know anything about Ska, the guy on the swing is Terry Hall from The Specials, a fricken legend!
And Fun Boy Three. The Specials inspired another famous Ska fans. Group of boys who called themselves Madness. Title of a song from Buster the king of Ska. I really enjoyed how No Doubt use the ska influence in many of their songs.
I hugged him once.
@@DabbaRanx we called them The English Beat, because there was an American power pop band called The Beat
RIP TERRY HALL💗
This album puts me in a hard-core nostalgia mood. I was in 5th grade when this album came out. And this was the first CD I ever bought. Phew!
Fav No Doubt song....Gwen looks AMAZING in this...
The bass! The bass!!
Awesome story dude.
I really like the song snakes and greener pastures
Best song, no question
Only issue with it is that clearly Sixteen is the second tier
Thank godess you did everyone unlocked a peice of someone else one way or another
As someone recently really getting into No Doubt, I really love how heavily the band members are featured in both the music and the videos. Took me a few videos to realize the different male leads for the acting parts were also the band members!! Just genius & timeless 🖤
Back when they would put respect on all the band members names now it’s just about the singer lol
that's how a lot of music videos just were back then. every band member got to play a part. some of the funniest videos I remember were just the band members getting to screw around with a very loose script, like pavement's cut your hair

Thank you for the best childhood!!
i forgot how much i liked this band. damn shame they aren't around.
God bless you, nineties music and era.
I love gwen, so beautiful, could watch her all day
After Don't Speak, this is another rock star/song I love. I don't understand why Gwen didn't release many videos apart from few.
Stefani is so fucking good looking. JEEESUS
She's cute...
+How bout No ? Yeah, Eric is pretty hot.
+Nadav Drewe thanks 😉

Gawd this is so under-recognized as a modern masterpiece. 🔥❤️🔥
I went into that store yesterday lol I was like "Gwen Stefani was here 🤩"
Love No Doubt, and everything Gwen. Saw them a bunch of times at socal punk/ska shows in the 90's (Showcase, Soma, Glasshouse, etc.). I still love her new country stuff. Lifetime fan right here!
R.I.P Terry Hall - loved his cameo in this! :(
I remember seeing this as a kid and having the biggest crush on Gwen. 20 years later, still do.
Awesome video🍷 🍝🎥 Awesome girl 👠👗💋 Awesome song 🎶🎼🎙 Awesome band🎸🥁🎸 Awesome Terry Hall 💔RIP 💔
I can't believe this song is 20 years old!
Wow. I forgot this song goes super hard. Still holds up after so many years. Bravo!
Hoy con 43 años me sigue volando la cabeza....
tragic kingdom is one of the best albums ever made. i still remember buying the cd at tower records
Wow! Tower records! That's exactly where i bought my CD from too! Ah those were the days! Thanks for that reminder!
There is no woman like Gwen Stefani. She is the definition of “cool”. ❤️ AND she is gorgeous, has the best style, and rocks!!
HALLELUJAH!!! ❤
i always loved her "hi" and smile at 1:53
tragic kingdom is 100% a top 100 album
Tragic kingdom was the first cd i bought. I was 13 or 14 and learned almost all the songs on guitar. Man those were good days.....i miss the 90s ....*sigh*

Such a simpler time. I miss those years so very much.
This hit song was released in 1997..
It's seems like yesterday.. time really flies
