This herd of elephants is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in my life and I am 70 years old. I love this channel it lifts my spirits. I just fell in love with Phabeni. Thank you for all you do for the elephants. God Bless you.
Thanks so much for sharing another immersive experience with the elephants. Phabeni’s strength and confidence improve daily; and it’s wonderful to see Khanyisa grow into her role as a gentle, protective older sister. It’s poignant, too, to hear the humans chat about the elephants’ stories and about their own experiences as parents who spend years nurturing their kids and then feel the ache of letting them go. Offering my utmost respect and best wishes to the animals and team at HERD.
Just him knowing that his new family cares for him and is there to protect him must be truly life altering. His past is no longer a burden that he needs to carry…and his confidence is growing daily. This group of elephants surly knows how special and lucky they are…and has made it so easy for the little bull to adapt. You all should be so proud of this accomplishment. How they were raised has given them the patience to teach him! It speaks to the dedication you all have given and the love you all share! You are all proof that Angels Walk The Earth
It's always a treat to watch these previous elephants free and enjoying everything that nature has to offer them.Thank you Adine and staff for taking such care of these precious beings.🥰
It's becoming easier to recognize the ellies now. I love the special bond between you and Khanyisa, Adine. How she rumbles with you. She is such a kind and loving girl. And Phabeni is stuck to Mother Setombe like they have always been together. It's so interesting that his feisty personality 🧨🐘💥 doesn't pop up when he's with the whole herd, just when he's with his human herd. 🥰I wonder if he thinks: "Um, no. My family is MUCH bigger than me." 😅 Lots of love from Yukon, Canada.❤
The first time i watched the HERD is when Khanysia first got there She stole my heart 💕 I prayed for Her healing inside and out. Now look at what a beautiful and unique personality she has has blossomed over night into a confident role model for little Phabeni. The video is intoxicating 🙏🐘🦣 the HERD family ❤️
Phabeni has his family 🐘 and they have their new babe. It’s so healing, for me, to take 20 minutes out of normal UK life, to lose myself in the beauty and love of the Herd. Thank you Ele’s 🐘 and THANK YOU to all at Herd for making this possible 🙏🏼🕉️🐘💜🐘🌻🐘💜
I've lived outside of the UK for 4 years now, so I can imagine how relaxing these videos must be. I miss home but I'm now in South Africa and I get to see scenes like this every few months when we go to visit my in-laws and pass the Hluhluwe Game reserve. Wouldn't change it for the world. Peace to you back home and I hope every Brit can witness these scenes in person; they really do remind us of what a wonderful earth we've been blessed with
A very beautiful video. Little Phabeni is surely carving out a forever place in the HERD with his confident stride amongst all of the them! Just like Meisiekind did!
I get the sense that sweet little Phabeni REALLY loves his HERD family. It's something about the pep in his little step. Makes me happy. Viva elephants.🐘❤♥❤♥😊
Such a lovely elephant Khanyisa is. It's quite moving to watch her become a nurturing youngster. She could have been angry and mistrusful after her traumatic start to life, but she chose joy and love instead. Good lessons for us all.🐘🐑❤️❤️❤️
In my humble opinion ( knowing very little about elephants), I feel that Khanisa is loving, gentle and caring, can only be because he was hand raised, SHOWERED with truck loads of love, care, commitment and fun by Adine and her carers. Well done! I tip my hat to Adine & her team. I have never seen such tenderness, caring, efficency & attention to detail. The Herd Elephants are safe. They always have food and treats. Water to drink, swim, play in. Cleanliness is a priority and their stables and orphanage is meticulously clean EVERY day. Their health is monitored deligently. If I was sn elephant, I'd definitely would like to be raised and live at The Herd. ❤❤❤
I agree with you. Khanyisa is as she is because of the unconditional love from Adine, the beautiful Carers, and her awesome herd. What a teaching to see how gentle and caring Khanyisa is towards little Phabeni.
Darling Khanyisa has come a long way in a short time from the day Phabeni was first introduced to the entire herd. She was very jealous & was back-kicking him, but her older "sisters" were heading her off, keeping the baby safe. She's certainly come around and likes to be with him now. I love to see her grow. Of course, Adine plays a big role there by showering her with love so she can have confidence that she is not being left out or threatened by him. Adine & the Carers are absolute pros.🏆🏅😊
Watching the herd all together with Phabeni and Khanisa……… so beautiful! These magestic animals are such a blessing to watch…….so graceful as they walk through…..protecting Phabeni and each other. Good morning to you Adine & all of those wonderful people who work at your side! Khanisa has the most amazing eyelashes!! And her pink skin is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your lives with us in the United States! Blessings always! 😊✝️❤️
Loving little new sister, Khanyisa is saying to Phabeni, “come with me and I can show you some fun things to do while we are walking” and as a baby might, Phabeni says, “I want to stay with my new mother.”❤❤❤
Yes, Phabi is totally attached to the mommies. Khaniysa immediately noticed Timisa and Pisa were still babies and that Mambo was a lot of fun and try to snuggle and talk with them. Not PHABI. He's just a mamma's boy right now.
As he should be & once again? his innoventn lil life is as it should be, surrounded by love, proacceptance. acceptance. One day, he too will pass it on. 😅 @@aimeefriedman822
Happy Day to the beautiful HERD Jabulani Family! Lovely to see Timi, Khanyisa and Phabeni and the others doing so well. Bless you all, from Florida.❤🐘🎉
Setombe and Klaserie mostly kept to themselves before Phabeni but now, the other ellies keep near to them because of Phabeni. What a great way for new socialization in the herd. Setombe and Phabeni have changed social dynamics and its fantastic.
I think Khanyisa is doing so well, even with her trauma, because of you guys. They're all clearly happy, healthy elephants. Definitely be proud of the work you've done. 💛
I remember Khanyisa's early walks with the HERD and how she would need a rest. In contrast Phabeni just motors along. It helps me appreciate how much Khanyisa progressed in spite of her injuries. Such a tribute to her spirit and the carer's good work ❤🙌❤🙌❤🙌❤
Everyday I look for new video of these magnificent, sentient beautiful beings. I'm sure , like a lot of us it makes my day ❤ Thankyou so much for all you do to preserve these beauties , giving them a safe and wonderful life with the utmost dedication. Phabeni is part of the pack and you can see how his confidence grows and enjoys every moment. Kanesia will always have a special place in my heart. You are right. She has a beautiful heart and soul. God bless you all ❤
He is so at ease between those big elephant legs. He's home. So sweet how all the big elephants act around the baby. They are such special, intelligent animals with deep feelings. Like a human.
It's so special, the way all the females are grouping around Phabeni like he's a rock star. And I don't blame them. He is so cute, and such a charmer. 😍
Agreed! Having a little one join the herd must be uplifting as well as a good training opportunity for the younger females to learn how to raise the bubs! 🥰🙏❤️🐘
Setombe is so possessive of her baby, (in a wonderfully loving way of course), that I'm surprised she lets Lundi come escort Phabeni in the mornings. Thank you again, for sharing your magical world with us ❤️. As i lay in my bed dealing with a disease that will never let me walk or be pain free, i just love watching your elephant family grow and prosper 🥰🐘💖
I'm with you Michelle. I can walk, but I have advanced osteoarthritis in both shoulders at 50. I'm waiting for a double shoulder replacement and I refuse to take opioids so some days and nights, I am in agony, especially in winter. I'm about to go on disability, which is not anyone's life goal. hERD has been so fantastic to watch the past year! It's fascinating and takes me out of my pain for ten minutes. 😅 Take care
amazing! so much beauty! little Phabeni walking carefree among his family, Khanyisa enjoying the moments of Adine's attention Thanks for the great close-ups, Adine -- it generates a real feeling of being there!👌🙏
I remember when Khanyisa was as little as Phabeni. The Herd were walking along a dirt road and Khanyisa fell. They all rushed to help her. When Khanyisa was helped up, shortly after she fell again, only this time I don't think it was an accident! Lol! She knew it would give her a whole lot of attention! I'll never forget that! It was so darn cute!!
I feel like Khanyisa has now accepted Phabeni as her "Lil Brother" & therefore has exchanged "jealousy" for "💜& protectiveness" now! It's great to see Khanyisa so protective over Phabeni. Hey, did anyone catch Khanyisa moving her front leg forward like her mommy Lundi did for Phabeni when he was suckling as if she was imitating or practicing being a mommy herself? Watch the video cuz it's in the beginning 3-5 minutes & it's so cute... It's done right in front of the camera... An up close view!!!!
I hope you realize how very special you all at HERD truly are. Adine, all the carers, and workers to those who send the sweet emails when even the smallest donation is sent. And especially this beautiful family of loving elles. Thank you for the solo this morning, Adine. 😊 Its fun to wake up and see a new video to watch with morning coffee. Never fails to bring a smile and start the day with a feeling of love and hope❤❤
Elephants are just amazing. They are so smart and can be very kind for such giants. The only thing bigger on a Elephant than their ears is their hearts.
I love how the hurd stop's when baby bull Phabeni needs a rest while walking in the bush💕 Sunshine's affectionate rumbles for Adine and the carers is precious 💞
i love how the last couple of videos you can really tell how much khanyisa has decided she's really gonna help take care of little phabeni! it's HER baby brother now. makes your heart smile :)
I love these videos so much! And Phabeni’s little legs sure do a great job of keeping up with his family!!! And big sister Khanyisa has gotten so lovingly protective; such a pleasure to watch! STILL live to hear those rumbles! Love and thanks to all!🥰🐘🧡🐘🥰🐘
whoever organizes the video stories is fantastic. I think thousands of people feel like Baby Phabeni is our baby. He will never know how many people send him love and hope for his future in the herd.
Look at that little peanut...keeping up with the big elephants. Khanyisa is so beautiful now...growing and confident it seems. She is with her family including Phabeni. Makes us all very happy to see them together 🥰 He knows he belongs now. Happy days ahead. As always I love the rear view of those big bodies striding along...poetry in motion as the song says.
“Mother-speak” is the term for the kind of speech that both females and males use when speaking to their little ones, human or animal: a higher pitched voice, pet names, and repeating phrases over and over. I get such a kick out of hearing Adine use Mother-speak with these huge, magnificent animals. 😁
Khanyisa wants to be best buddies with the little Beanie. When she first met him she went over and kicked him. Now she wants to be friends. I think little miss pink ears was disciplined by the herd and now she changed her little tune towards teeny weeny little Phabeni. It’s cute seeing them together.
Khanyisa didn’t kick Phabeni she did a back kick something all the elephants do at some time Timsa did it often to Khanyisa as well as playing happily with her at at other times . Khanyisa stayed away from Phabeni unsure what to do and stuck with Adine at the first meeting. Khanyisa only went towards Phabeni when Timsa did and observed Timsa kicking Phabeni and him moving away. Khanyisa then copied her big sister as she will do when unsure of what to do and did the back kick. The older females then taught her how she should behave towards Phabeni.
Watching the Herd is definitely one of the Best parts of my days especially since I live in Iowa in the states that is only farming communities. I’m close to Omaha NE and the Henry Doorly Zoo which I have enjoyed numerous times. However, it’s not the same as watching these beautiful magnificent creations in their own habitat. Thank you 😊
What a magnificent herd of orphans. Banded & bonded together under the most extreme conditions; accepting of all w/ empathy & unwaivering love. It must be true. Elephants never forget. 😊 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful morning sunrise is a positve sign for a great day for the beautiful herd and carers. Great words of wisdom and facts at the end about 'children'...
It IS SO COMFORTING THAT THE CARERS WALK WITH THEM AS A PROTECTIVE PRESENCE. NICE KNOWING GOOD IS HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD- LOVE❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💗💖💖💖💕💖🐘🐘🐘🐘
Awwww love walking with the Ele's in the Bush. We feel like we're really there. Amazing. Thk u Adine, Tigrere and all the Carers and Ele's too 🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘 xxx
I so love watching the herd, all their nuances and their love for each other. It’s a pity that us humans can’t take a leaf out of their book, the world would be a much happier and safe place. 💕🐘
Gorgeous morning sun above the Bush Walking on the sunshine with the Ellies Yeah Yeah ! It is so nice to see Khanyisa and Lundi coming to pick up little Phabeni Little Miss Sunshine is very caring with the little Bull she is really amazing Timisa wanted to sneak into the orphanage and have a relaxed day with the sheepies 😂🤣 Phabeni is doing great during the walk surrounded by the females mostly Dame Setombe, Klaserie, Lundi and Kumbura and hop, he goes Tokwe watching over her Herd It was nice to see Gentleman Fishan always cool Somopane Bubi was ready to show off her muscles at the Buffalos and it took all the persuation of the Carers to dissuade her 😅😂
To watch them all interact together is priceless. Cannot believe how beautiful and big Miss Sunshine is. HERD is magnificent. Have sent 350.00 dollars for solar to make it easier and dependable for all if you. Suzanne USA❤❤❤
How amazing! Thank you so much for your generosity and support for our team and the elephants! We are so grateful for your incredible contribution 💖🐘🙏🏽
I was thinking if phabeni laid down like khanyisa used to and then you guys said that khanyisa help him tries to get him up. I love her very much. I love waking up and watching them protect each other love each other play with each other. They all have such individual personalities. It’s amazing.
This bush walk was extra special ~ The rumbles are my favorite sounds. Hearing about Khanyisa's keeping the baby from lying down too long was amazing to hear. Herd wisdom 🙌 With much respect and love
I love listening to you all talking about the elephants. Thank you for giving us some information about Setombe. I wondered why you were so surprised when she took on mothering Phabeni. Such a magnificent herd and it is such a blessing to be able to watch them.
Good morning beautiful people beautiful ellies, much love love LOVE from one cold UK London, we all love you very much, my pink princess im so proud she is just a perfect older sister and she loves that baby she really loves Phabeni she is still young and a lot to learn our little khanyisa but she is awesome sister. Sebakwe really is magnificent, a true King 👑, confident, , so sweet to the little ones a great protector of the females they love having him around ive seen when he is not, the females get frightened and hes also a great warrior along with adorable Fishan bless his caring sweet heart, i also find mambo, zindoga somopane very beautiful maybe bc they are young, mambo i love his young way of thinking he is like a teenager unstoppable stubborn a mama's boy 🤣 but i love him bc of that he so cute sleeps late just like a teenager i said🤣 thank you all for these beautiful videos from South Africa what a beautiful country /continent its mother land to all of us💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Momento de paz: el vídeo de la manada. Es muy lindo ver a Phabeni, bien alimentado y protegido, que sale del refugio para reunirse con los suyos y hacer cosas de elefantes. ¡Buenísimo! Cariños, desde Uruguay.
I've been counting how many steps Phabeni has to take to keep up with the Herd. He take 3 steps per I single step of the adult elephants. His little legs work extremely hard. Darling little baby bull. ❤
Thank you for giving us so much time with Kanyisha-- my Baby K. When she walked away I teared up because I too will miss her bottle feedings, her dunks in the water when she would disappear, the soft scuffs of her feet following behind her, so many things I will miss. The miracle that is Kanyisha. ❤
This herd of elephants is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in my life and I am 70 years old. I love this channel it lifts my spirits. I just fell in love with Phabeni. Thank you for all you do for the elephants. God Bless you.
Not far behind you. Isn't it enriching to absorb the goodness of the HERD ❤🇬🇧
Me three! It brings peace to my soul.
And me four…❤❤❤
Me five❤🐘
I agree ❤️🐘
This is my daily vitamin. So glad to see this herd and my favorite Phabeni. They are all beautiful magnificent Animals.
I love listening to the carers talking to each other as they walk with the elephants.
Wow! Phabeni has great stamina! 🙌🙌🙌🫶
Oasis of tranquility, camaraderie, kindness. A privilege I cherish. Thank you Adine. Thank you carers. Thank you "Herd" family. Best wishes.
Phabeni, Khanyisa and even the babies that didn’t make it, the effort is worth it. Thanks for lives saved, the elephants are worth it!
Thanks so much. 🐘❤️

You know what they say, "Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, Sailors delight"
I haven’t heard anyone else say that for many years but I think about it every time there’s a fiery sunrise
Even the Bible mentions it.
I imagine having a little bull to care for is good for the herd's psychological health. The normal pattern of life...
So true.

Amidst all the strife and turmoil going on, look at how these beautiful, dignified pachiderms coexist.
I just loved seeing Setombe decide that Phabeni was hers. It's all so wonderful 🥰❤️
essa família maravilhosa sempre recebe os bebês como se fossem seus , é a coisa mais linda
Absolutely true.
Sono d'accordo missClaire!
I love how Kanyisa walks beside Adine giving her the side eye of adoration!
Good morning favorite family! It’s a glorious day! ❤
Thank you 😊
What a magnificent
herd of orphans. Banded & bonded together under the most extreme conditions; accepting of all w/ empathy & unwaivering love. It must be true. Elephants never forget. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Its amazing how gentle they sound while walking. You would think you would hear the ground shaking but its such a peaceful sound.
It lifts my spirit to share the earth with these beautiful creatures and their loving caregivers! Thank you❤
Thanks so much. 🐘❤️
Beautiful morning sunrise is a positve sign for a great day for the beautiful herd and carers. Great words of wisdom and facts at the end about 'children'...

I love the sound of the walking elephants.

Amazing to see Khanyisa walking ahead of Fishan - she is still small.

Phabeni has accepted the herd and especially setombe his mother❤❤❤❤❤❤Ilove little Phabeni
This bush walk was extra special ~ The rumbles are my favorite sounds. Hearing about Khanyisa's keeping the baby from lying down too long was amazing to hear.
Herd wisdom 🙌
With much respect and love
The whole Herd is just awesome 😃🤩
Phabeni's wee little legs doing double time to keep up!!❤❤❤

I love listening to you all talking about the elephants. Thank you for giving us some information about Setombe. I wondered why you were so surprised when she took on mothering Phabeni. Such a magnificent herd and it is such a blessing to be able to watch them.

😂😂Me, too!!
Quando Phabeni torna a casa è stanco 😫 ma felice 😃
Thanks for doing the counting!
He is so content. Home in his loving herd❤❤❤❤
I see my lovely misfit, Bubi.❤❤
Beautiful morning🌄 magnificent sunrise for our beloved Herd elephants 🐘 ❤️
Herd !!! Torna possivel ver esses elephantes lindos!!!!
AHH that's so sweet, sums up how I feel perfectly!
Good Morning HERD!
Look at Khanysisa next to Phabeni. I remember be she was that small. She's such a big girl now and will be an awesome big sis😀❤🐘
Phabeni is just marching along with the herd like a pro
Hard to believe that he keeps up with all the big ellies 😂
Yes, Phabeni is very brave he moved his little legs forward to keep up with his Herd and especially with his Mama Dame Setombe and his sister Klaserie
👌👍👋😊
