Hi Ben. I'm a low time pilot (~7hrs / 64 flights), not flown since late 2021 and looking to get back into the sport (long story). Your videos are very inspirational. I'd like to fly the mountains near Christchurch eventually. What would be really good for local (NZ/SI) pilots (yes, I know you are in Wales now) would be a tutorial on what you do to review weather forecasts and other information sources in planning for a flight using tools / websites / resources that are relevant or specific so NZ/SI. Have you considered something like that? Would be very useful I think for those coming up through the sport, as 'post-school' support and progression can be tricky (partly why I stopped last time). Have a great time in the UK and look forward to more of your vids. Thanks for everything you do to inspire others in the sport. Cheers.
Great Vid. I remember that day. I fell out the bottom of a thermal and never recovered. Bombed at 20 something K south of Pant. I hope you had a fantastic time on our fab North Wales site. I have never seen it so busy in my 26 years of flying there!!
Thanks Ben. Looked like some hard work, but a nice change of scenery. It's pretty flat weather wise at home. Maybe a chance of coastal off the Ashburton cliffs on Monday, enough to keep me off the methadone. Haven't flown for ages.
Great to see you've come to the UK for what I'd loosely call Summer. Hope you get some good flights. Are you based in North Wales? I'm sort of close by in the Pennines. Keep the videos coming.
Wonderfull flight and video!
Thanks very much!

Looks like easy conditions, light thermals. Teach you for survival techniques.
