As a North fan I watched in despair as he absolutely tore us apart in the '98 GF but can't help but admire at how much of a tremendous player, role model and genuine person he is. An absolute legend in every sense of the word.
As a port fan Andrew McLeod was an absolute gem! So many games ive just sat back and said "wow hes just too good". His ability to turn a game around was amazing and he didnt need long to do it. Superstar player and in my opinion the greatest crow
Loved that guy, could not get enough of watching him play, a true champion, I saw him in the city one day could not believe how tall his was, looks so small on tv
One of the greats of the game. Watched him live in 97 and 98 GFs and it was phenomenal. He would have ABSOLUTELY been able to run Danger down. SO fast.
My favourite all time Crows player. Just an absolute legend and amazing person. His skill level was second to none and what he achieved on field(apart from the Brownlow) will forever be admired and respected. A true legend of the game.. 💯
One of the best I have ever seen, on his day he put teams to the sword, love that smile at the end about Dangerfield, id put my kidneys on it Bunge, you would run Danger down no problem whatsoever and your evasiveness and foot skills far out way Dangerfield, but you are also right, the strength of Dangerfield is pretty impressive.
@Chill Out only saw the end of Matthews career - saw the entirety of Ablett's and if you weren't around it's hard to appreciate the hype that was around him - and he delivered the thrills on-field to match that hype. Just a star; Jordan-like.
@@danielhackett1581 I never had the privilege of watching Polly Farmer play Daniel, but I am happy to concede he was probably *the* best, especially as I am a Cats man .. loved Peter Matera too, even though he destroyed my team every time we played them (including the '92 GF sadly!) - he was just so good to watch.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Met him down in Hobart in 2015 at the Salamanca markets at a local cafe. Tried to cut the line in front of me. Total flog.
Rolls Royce of a player. Incredible skills and speed. One of the greatest.

No one did it like Mcleod...power, style, grace, speed, balance and skill. Miss watching this guy play. One of the all time greats!!
@J G were we talking about Soccer were we? Don't remember that being part of the clip. You can have your 'soccer'. Who gives a shit

absolutely love this bloke! there's no words to describe him! genius comes to mind!
And in 2001 he should of won the Brownlow Medal which would of sat nicely with his back to back Norm Smiths
H HOUR HOTEL who?

Absolute Champion, Champions dont win Brownlows Either eg Wayne Kerry Gary Abblett Snr, Lee Mathews
probably the best indigenous player I've seen (and there's been some rippers).
+chemistryset1 yep fair call Wanganeen would be up there with him! But McLeod's pace was exceptional.
@Chill Out Ablett
hmm good but i'd rate Matera, Wanganeen, Goodes and farmer as better. Long and both rioli's close too

Very impressive man.
Anyone who collects not one, but two Norm Smith Medals, is elite.
7 goals being tagged by libba is an amazing effort
Ripper player.
Ripper bloke.
Fremantle blew it
They sounded like arrogant smart arses. Glad he chose to walk away from that deal.
I know Andrew Mcleod
Why no studio like usual for Open Mike ?
theyre all like that from the first season
Pity most comments have kindergarten-level English.
