can we PLEASE put some respect on Dansby's name. he had some rough spots this year, like everybody else, but dude was a soild SS and a soild spot in the lineup.
Yes, we can all agree Dansby does not get enough attention as a shortstop. I was peeved when I heard a rumor the Braves had looked in on Correa before the lockout because yeah, Dansby's a streaky hitter, but he plays the crap out of his position year after year and he's super durable. He's also not a despised cheater. Even Snit said he was shocked Dansby hasn't gotten a Heart & Hustle or Gold Glove Award yet. He definitely deserves one for his devotion to being a great shortstop! 🙌
Streaky offensively like most players, but Dansby is one of the best defensive Shortstops in the game. Hope the Braves keep him around with their young core
No shot, shortstop is too loaded of a position. In my opinion, the top 10 shortstops right now are 1. Tatis 2. Turner 3. Correa 4. Bogaerts 5. Seager 6. Story 7. Franco 8. Bichette 9. Lindor 10. Anderson Even if he was more consistent, Dansby is nowhere near the straight up skill level of those 10. I could maybe see top 15. But not 10.
@@generallukeproductions if dansby was consistent in hitting he would most definitely be in the top 10 you literally put as number one the shortstop who made the most errors in all of mlb. Stat wise if Swanson would hit more he would be up there cause his glove is great he just needs to hit more. Tatis is literally over hyped with his glove. Tatis can hit but not field well if Swanson started to hit more he would easily be top 10
