the motion doesn't have to be a full 360, you just have to hit the four cardinal directions (right, down, left, up) in any order as long as it follows a circle. that means if you want to do the SPD while standing, you can do forward, down, back, and up with punch. make sure you hit the punch button at the same time (or very shortly after) you press up or else zangief will jump.
@@criteecgaming yes, ST has negative edge on special moves, but for zangief specifically he has a whiff animation on SPD, so as long as you do the motion right there's no reason to not use positive edge
I see why pro players like to play on the older broken version of SFII. Zangiefs grip reach is insane 😂. 6:37 is perfect example of that. Slow the video down and see how far snake grabbed X
My son is always like dad why do you watch these old games. Because the hype son the hype
I hope you brought your Son a shiny new Sega and not a P5 or Xbox X... Every kid needs to play a classic system
This set is insane, the match at 10mins is too good
You weren't even kidding! 😱
Does anyone question why these two huge Russian guys are fighting on an Air Force base?
pow's forced to fight to the death
For the right to capture it first. Obviously.
What's the advantage of old zangief?
Grab range
he loses his green hand move, which to me is very important move when playing zangief.
I never understood how to do a spd without jumping or blocking just out of thin air. Can someone explain?

@@StuffyHonda Is negative edge in st? I always figured that's how he was doing the grab without jumping as well.
@@StuffyHonda Actually it doesn't even need to follow a circle. If you do up, down, forward, back and punch SPD will still come out.
@@ultimateman55 this is true in later games, but not in sf2, it has to follow a circle

Thais is the real Snake Eyez from SF4 and SFV?
yes... he became famous as a SF2 player before he moved on to SF4
yea, he won EVO for super turbo hdr remix. I forgot what year.
yes rel sf5 , good player kage , alex of sf5 , sf6 best of kage !!
Is this labeled correctly mmx8 on p1 and se on p2?
He is one player one side because he only plays Zangief. Snake Eyes sometimes play shodotos like Kage and Ryu.
