Great information, thank you!! Last two times we did Magic Express, we had 5-6 stops. We stayed at GFV and were the last stop. My son gets miserably car sick, so I was so grateful he fell asleep!
You’re welcome! Oh goodness! I think it was getting sloppy towards the end. :( Glad he was able to sleep through the ride, that’s miserable.

For your next Disney trip you need to use Mears connect .they are the ones that ran Magic express before and they are more organized.
Mears is definitely more organized for sure! Just wanted to try something different since Mears has been around for years just as Magical Express.

Thank you for your review. We are doing MEARS connect , considered sunshine flyer but decided to stick with MEARS. Will probably try sunshine next time .
You’re welcome! Mears is much more organized but Sunshine Flyer is a good option too.
Does anyone know how many suitcases each passenger can take on board? We will have 2 suitcases plus a backpack each
We have taken multiple bags per family member with no issues! Have a great trip!
that info is dated til Labour Day you can book Kids for free Adults like Mears Connect RT 32,- and one Way $16,- but only bookable now til LABOR DAY. And after that it is like before the same in total for 2 Adults and 2 Kids the same as with MEARS CONNECT cuz on Sunshine Flyer Kids are cheaper but Adults are 17,- or 34,- for RT but at the Moment booking now and have the magical (unless no themed bus takes).
thanks so much for this helpful review! i'm going back to wdw for the second time since they got rid of magical express. last time was a last minute trip and we used uber to/from the airport. this time i'm trying to plan it out better and look at all the options. i was considering sunshine flyer but as someone with anxiety i feel like finding the sunshine flyer area and checking in would become a whole anxiety inducing thing for me. i think mears would probably be the better option for me since they seem to be more organized, and it's the same price anyways.

Great informational video! We just got back from our trip and also use the sunshine flyer. I guess I didn’t realize how many other stops there would be, because we were also on the bus for over an hour (Wilderness Lodge). My kiddos are the same ages as yours and did pretty well but it was definitely a long time to be cooped up. And I also was starting to get carsick! 🥴 They also didn’t do any of the fun stuff like hats or tvs. Still, thankful for this option!
It’s so hard to know just how long that bus ride will be since it varies. I’m glad they did well too!! Will definitely pack more snacks or grab something before getting on the bus next time. Carsick is not fun!!

You're welcome! We are using Tiffany Town Car this time and I've also heard great reviews about Happy Limo as well.
But with Mears it could be even worse since they including off-sites Resorts as well could take you even longer. And Sunshine goes only onsites maybe also some neighbour ones but usually they served only on-site Disney ones.
Silly question, did they mention which resort they were dropping you off at when you check in? I only ask because we leave in a week for a trip for my moms 50th birthday and she has no idea I upgraded us to her favorite resort ☺️
They list off the resorts as you are boarding so she would know what resorts but unless you confirm which one she wouldn’t know. Hope that makes sense.
also that will be the most magical 50th birthday ever!!!
What if you just need a ride to the airport from the DW resort? We’re going to Universal first and then DW second…
They have a one way option as well.
At about 3:25 you mention Mears Connect. Is this Mears or SF process?

Excellent review! Quick question: since the Polynesian was the sixth stop on the way there, was the airport your second stop on the way back? We'll be staying at the Polynesian in October for our son's first birthday, and I'm not sure he'll be able to handle the hour and a half bus ride.

What happens if your flight gets delayed?
Our flight was actually 2.5 hours delayed and waited over an hour for baggage and there was no issue. We were just put on the next bus to our resort.
This was great! Just curious did you ever work before kids? If so what was your job? I feel like you were either a teacher or some type of planner!

Yes! We will have a new vlog going up every Monday at 10am from our trip. We go a few times a year.
Are there bathrooms on the bus?
Some of them do while others don't. Our arrival bus didn't but our departure bus did.
My flight home at is 10:00am. What time slot do you recommend for pickup from the resort to the airport?
They will actually assign you with a time slot which is around 3 hours before your flight.
@@thepixiedustedmom oh great! I do not want to miss my flight! I saw alot of google reviews saying they almost missed their flight with sunshine flyer and now I am scared.
@@cangambino We arrived at our gate with 20 minutes to spare. My suggestion is to pack in a carry-on if you can so you can skip the baggage check, that's what slowed us down. And all of the bus services pick up 3 hours before domestic flights.

Why do people do split stays at hotels? Do you get a better deal on the hotels? I’ve noticed a lot of people say that. Just asking bc in trying to book a Disney vacation for next yr :)

We enjoy split stays because they give us the chance to experience different resorts. Plus you might not be able to afford 6 nights at a monorail resort but you can splurge for two and spend the other four at another resort. Hope that makes sense. :)

Interesting! Do you use a Disney travel agent or call Disney directly, or you do it yourself ?
I book everything myself because I enjoy doing it but Disney travel agents are amazing and free so definitely use one if you need help!

@@Rangersmama Unfortunately Sunshine Flyer doesn't offer resort-to-resort service. When we switch we either use Disney transportation or use the Minnie Van service. Also, Bell Services can transfer your luggage at no cost to your next resort.

I did and it’s not a through Disney. They are a separate company and you book directly through their website.
