It was purchased and it being re-constructed, the previous owner has shared some of the "new" sketches of the build. I am not sure when it will be finished or making it's debut again. I did see they are installing Shelby style rear tailights in place of the celica units.
thanks for recording that glorious v10 sound it was better than i anticipated and will remember that noise for the rest of my life , that triton ford v10 sounds exactly like a person talking ,epic...
understood, nice car tho now that i think about it, i'd say that if I had money to make bets, i would say that 70% of show cars get towed to and from car shows because they don't actually work, but at least the engine ok I actually have a socket set and a couple of wrenches i could put any engine in any car just common sense really, place engine under the hood then close hood then call tow truck to take to show
Wow, I never thought a Mustang II could look so badass. Can't believe someone invested that kind of time and money into it. Not even recognizable. I thought it was some sort of obscure model from Australia or something at first.
Most attractive Mustang ii ever. I saw the build one day in a magazine when it was stripped to bare metal. I was curious what became of it. Really worthy of attention.
Billy, I have seen it as well just not in person, I know the car is out of a shop in Oregon. Definitely bummed I missed interviewing these guys. On a side note I managed to hook up with Joe from Rudderfly on Friday for a bit, very cool.
I wanted to go this year but things didn't work out. Biggest problem is is that it's on the wrong side of the country lol. Joe and I've talked a little. I'm hoping we can set something up for next year but there's really no guarantee. SEMA is on my bucket list.
Forget best Mustang II ever. That has to be one of the best executed custom cars PERIOD ever. Easy to make a '50 This or a '69 That look cool. Slightly harder with one of these. Gorgeous car. And I hate the look of most custom/restomod style cars. But this thing is just unreal.
+Josh B After several days and countless Mustangs at SEMA and having limited time to shoot this before the drifting started I do my best. So yes its' a 99 and not a supercharged 03-04, thanks for the correction.
Kenny, I think it was gone on Friday. I was trying to catch up with the owner but the car was already gone later in the week. Probably got tired of the rubber shower from the drifting :)
Hey Joe, Welcome back, this is super nice, KONA blue too. Great seeing you and meeting at the show. I have a couple of quick videos I need to eamil or dropbox to you.
Opening up the fenders, fitting fender flares and bigger wheels totally transforms the Mustang II. If Ford had done that back in the day, the Mustang II would be a highly coveted ride today, instead of a punch line to a joke.
SCOTTIEDTV shot this earlier this year or sometime last year. but this car has so clean. BADDDDD!!! So go check out the interview scottiedtv did on this guys.
They had to put a frame under it because on the original Mustang 2 with the 351 no it did not come from Factory with 351 and an automatic it would lift the front tires at 70 miles an hour I know because Dad had that car
Ok, o it has the V10, but how does it perform?? Plus the added weight, and cost of making the engine fit, the build is nice, but is it worthy?? I think not, unless you stroked, port n polish, cnc the engine n put a turbo or supercharger on it..
Man, the BEST thing I've ever seen done to ugly old muscle cars like the Mustang 2 or the Javelin is when they move the front wheel wells forward to reduce the front overhang. 10/10 best way to improve the stance and proportions of any old car.
I love Mustangs, I own a 2014 GT, but I never understood why top tier Mustangs are called Cobras or Super snakes. A Mustang is a horse, a snake has nothing to do with a horse. I would've gone with Stallion, Zebra or something horse related.
+walmartpimp2 The Cobra brand was started by Shelby and it was first used on the Shelby Cobra. Ford and Shelby came to a marketing agreement with the name and building modified Mustangs known as Shelby Mustangs. The "Cobra" was later purhased by Ford for marketing to be used on Mustangs branded as Cobra Mustangs. There are Cobra Torino's too.
OK, so a car builder and racer named Carroll Shelby was asked by Ford in 1964 to develop a line of racing inspired Mustangs, as the cars had a reputation of being cruisers and not pavement pounders. Carroll same out with the GT350 in 1965 and they used COBRA branding on some of the parts as Carroll had been known for a previous race car called the Shelby Cobra which was a British car with a Ford engine and was blindingly fast. Anyway, the Shelby Mustangs got more and more Cobra badging and parts culminating with the 428 Cobra Jet and 428 Super Cobra Jet that went in GTs, GT500s and Mach 1s. All in the late 60s/early 70s. So when Ford wanted to put a performance spin on a car later they either called it a Shelby or a Cobra. The original Super Snake was a 1967 GT 500 that had a 427 FE Side Oiler engine putting out ~500 HP at the Fly Wheel and was a very serious machine. They only made one of them as it was deemed too much for the average driver and went with a 428 Interceptor.
Hey Bruce, Great to see you stopping by, much appreciated sir. Yes after the cost of a build like this I doubt they are worried about the spark plug change :)
Bruce Boschek Ahhh Got cha. Hey Bruce thanks again for stopping by, much appreciated. Not sure if you are collecting YTGG channel stickers...drop me your address and I will get you one in the mail should you be so inclined.
Love the car, it's too bad that it's running transaxle parts out of a corvette...anything to do with Chevy just cheapens it, but that's just my opinion...the amount of fab hours it must've taken to complete, and the end result, are insanely cool...it really is a badass little rig...
Branon Fontaine This is one nicely executed build and thy did a great job, can't fault them for a little component swapping as long as the heart of the matter, the motor stays FoMoCo. Thanks for checking it out Branon.
+russ carney It actually saved the Mustang from going out of production. It is what it is and worked at the time. This custom shares almost nothing with an original II
russ carney the Mustang ll saved the Mustang line. If you do research on the car it was one of the best selling Mustang of the line. I had a 78 Cobra ll the horsepower was low but not really when you look into the horsepower of the Camaro and Corvette of the same era! They were all below 200 HP.
Hey, it's been too long, hope you are well and thanks for watching! I checked out their FB and posted this video, too bad I missed the builders, awesome car. Thanks again for stopping by and don't be a stranger.
The only Mustang II I ever saw that I actually wanted. Very nicely done, dig the V10.
said 6 speed on the back of that mustang II right under the reverse light lol
Digging that Mustang ll, wait did I just say that about a Mustang ll ? LOL killer ride
Freddie Mac LOL yes you did and yes it's a killer ride.
Failed to mention that Shelby Terlingua. It's probably the rarest mustang there I think only 50 built.
Sadly, this car was destroyed in 2015 when the trailer it was being transported in was involved in a rollover accident.
It was purchased and it being re-constructed, the previous owner has shared some of the "new" sketches of the build. I am not sure when it will be finished or making it's debut again. I did see they are installing Shelby style rear tailights in place of the celica units.

Sarcasm noted. Well talking is all you are gonna get from the SEMA show, you can't start them up there, sorry for the let down.
understood, nice car tho now that i think about it, i'd say that if I had money to make bets, i would say that 70% of show cars get towed to and from car shows because they don't actually work, but at least the engine ok I actually have a socket set and a couple of wrenches i could put any engine in any car just common sense really, place engine under the hood then close hood then call tow truck to take to show
Good video man. I wish more people were as competent as you when making and posting a video.
Thanks, hope you got a chance to sub.
Wow, I never thought a Mustang II could look so badass. Can't believe someone invested that kind of time and money into it. Not even recognizable. I thought it was some sort of obscure model from Australia or something at first.
G8GTJav This is by far the nicest Mustang ll I have ever seen, pretty sweet.
That's the best looking mustang 2 I've ever seen
At 2:14 am on a video from 5 years ago you bothered to come like my comment, well you just earned a subscriber :D

Oh yeah that had to be cool. Too bad I wasn't there. Could have been the three amigos. Lol
Cobrafanatik22 Maybe next year ! ?
I wanted to go this year but things didn't work out. Biggest problem is is that it's on the wrong side of the country lol. Joe and I've talked a little. I'm hoping we can set something up for next year but there's really no guarantee. SEMA is on my bucket list.
Cobrafanatik22 I try and go every year so by all means let me know if you want to go, I will get you a pass.
That "Mustang Evolution" was really sweet.
Thanks George, it is the coolest Mustang ll I have ever seen, too bad I missed the owner.
Wide body kit is the fenders off a ‘94 mustang. And they are cellica taillights.
Cars and military aircraft! Two of my favorite things! Sub from me!
I'm a mustang lover, just subscribed to your amazing channel
People here in Iraq are in love with mustangs
+max penrose people of my age love camaros,Chargers, challengers and mustangs.
For me, it's only mustang that can be called A CAR
Same here in Argentina. Mustangs are an international lenguage.
That red foxbody widebody stang was built by creations n chrome out of california! It's called Top Notch !!!
Cool and thanks for the info Tommy. Maybe I will catch up with it at one of the shows in California.

How much power is the V10 in that awesome looking mustang II putting out now.
The white '99 Cobra @ 4:04 is not a terminator.
+Josh B After several days and countless Mustangs at SEMA and having limited time to shoot this before the drifting started I do my best. So yes its' a 99 and not a supercharged 03-04, thanks for the correction.
wow, i missed the evolution that was sweet, they need to make that ride
Kenny, I think it was gone on Friday. I was trying to catch up with the owner but the car was already gone later in the week. Probably got tired of the rubber shower from the drifting :)
Now this is how the Mustang 2 should have looked from Factory
Aside from the amazing drivetrain, I think all of that Japanese aesthetic at the rear is what makes this car one of the nicest Mustangs in the world.
Yeah tgat first one then the wide body fox were my favorites
This is where the s550 should of looked like, slimmer and can house a v10.
@4:04 that's not a terminator that's just a mustang cobra .
Mario Muro Thanks for clarifying Mario, doing my best on the fly after several days at SEMA
i was just about to point that out lol
Did they even make cobras for that body style or were they just terminators?
Where did you get the performance parts for your v10?
Wow, the only Mustang II worth over $25K. lol. Someone put some time and effort in her. Color choice was spot on and the stance was just right.
Hey Joe, Welcome back, this is super nice, KONA blue too. Great seeing you and meeting at the show. I have a couple of quick videos I need to eamil or dropbox to you.
Mustang 2 is my 3rd favourite generation, first is the s650 and second is s550
What an original Mustang...
V10 Ford, i can't imagine something meaner.
I Loveeeee that Wide Body Fox
Iron Salmon It's not a Fox its a Mustang II
Watch the vid and look at the Red Wide body Fox
Iron Salmon Got it

The 1969 mustang boss 428 is 53 yrs old now
They had to put a frame under it because on the original Mustang 2 with the 351 no it did not come from Factory with 351 and an automatic it would lift the front tires at 70 miles an hour I know because Dad had that car
I love Ford mustangs. The best american car.
Sylvio Fleurant No argument there, thanks for watching Sylvio, hope you are subscribed.
The Japanese were inspired by American muscle cars, and the 70s Celica and Corolla were taken from the Mustang.
Wow!
hard enough to get a v8 in there!
Ok, o it has the V10, but how does it perform?? Plus the added weight, and cost of making the engine fit, the build is nice, but is it worthy?? I think not, unless you stroked, port n polish, cnc the engine n put a turbo or supercharger on it..
It is a great build, it was unfortunately involved in a trailer accident and is currently being put back to show condition.
Nice, thanks for letting me know..
You know you're trying to prove something when you put "six speed" on your car
Matt Miller I think they were trying to give it a nod to the period when everything from disc brakes to, the trans and of course motor had call outs.
Man, the BEST thing I've ever seen done to ugly old muscle cars like the Mustang 2 or the Javelin is when they move the front wheel wells forward to reduce the front overhang. 10/10 best way to improve the stance and proportions of any old car.
who made the 84 gt fox body?
No idea, that was a few years ago.
MustangConnection1 😢 thanks any ways 👍 awesome vids
Thanks for watching, hope you are subbed!
MustangConnection1 yeah I am, cant miss the stang vids
This is so what the doctor ordered.
Where can I buy one and what's the exact name ?
***** It' s a custom one off build, if you google V10 Mustang ll Evolution the builder info is there.
That's some shit right there. Badass
the celica taillight made it look cheap....they should have just fabricated some sort of led lights
WOW
+Jorge Aguiar YEP!
The sdo Fairmont and the 84 Fairmont
I'd pay cash for that car and use as my daily driver.
The 87 Fairmont
I like the V10 assume Mustang
Nemanja Kotruc Thanks for checking it out, pretty sick Stang.
I wanna drive it sooo bad

Wow, i didn't know about a 500 hp '67 GT500 Super Snake.. Any quarter mile times?
@@TommyRibs I should have thanked you seven years ago, but I probably didn’t get notified. Thanks for thoroughly answering the question
Triton V10...oh, man, just think spark plugs and now think X10!
Hey Bruce, Great to see you stopping by, much appreciated sir. Yes after the cost of a build like this I doubt they are worried about the spark plug change :)
I was thinking of the infamous blown-out and broken-off Triton plug problem.
Bruce Boschek Ahhh Got cha. Hey Bruce thanks again for stopping by, much appreciated. Not sure if you are collecting YTGG channel stickers...drop me your address and I will get you one in the mail should you be so inclined.
I would trade my Altima coupe for that v10 sweetness |:-)
Who wouldn't lol it's an Altima.

The mustang 2 almost disolved the evolution of the tang. JUNK
+russ carney It actually saved the Mustang from going out of production. It is what it is and worked at the time. This custom shares almost nothing with an original II
No I'm talking about the "Era"1976 or something. Just a really poor car
russ carney the Mustang ll saved the Mustang line. If you do research on the car it was one of the best selling Mustang of the line. I had a 78 Cobra ll the horsepower was low but not really when you look into the horsepower of the Camaro and Corvette of the same era! They were all below 200 HP.
put a 6.2 LS motor, way more power and a lot lighter and won't break
j Eber that’s not the point of this build if you knew what the guys intentions were with this he wanted something different not done before
you can check out the build at facebook.com/ATeamRacingLLC
I followed it for a while, deffinately a cool build. Thanks for the video!
Hey, it's been too long, hope you are well and thanks for watching! I checked out their FB and posted this video, too bad I missed the builders, awesome car. Thanks again for stopping by and don't be a stranger.
they made look right the ugliest mustang ever built lol nice job
