Very nice design. I love the wide body, the tail section, to me that’s the perfect color for the design. It’s great! Hope the driver of the truck made out ok!
The only cool Mustang II? lol The lightest Mustang ever made, with a state-of-the-art front suspension that made it out handle the previous Mustangs, and can be made fast with some simple engine bolt on parts. Not to mention the excellent(for the era) aerodynamics of the body. The perfect project car. I love racing nay sayers with my II, including the quick bikes. 2450 lbs, 530hp, stroked 302, pump gas all motor.
What a cool car Scottie! It’s always nice when you get to talk to the owner and get A little history. The story always enhances the video. Although I must say the picture of the car on its roof made me cringe. Always makes me nervous to transport Expensive cars. Nice Shoot!
Hola amigo ScottieD esta increíble el Ford Mustang de 1978 que buen trabajo de restauración le hicieron quedo cálida felicito al dueño y ati x tu pasión por los autos saludo desde Venezuela 👌🏻👍🏻🔥😎
That’s a way cool car wake up the Ford Motor Company liking that cars body shapes! Wouldn’t a ‘72 Toyota be nice with a Coyote engine set up like this Mustang 👍✌️well done
Took me a few minutes to figure out what was so special about this new car? It's accully an old 1970s mustang made to look like a newer mustang. Came out great almost had me foold. A younger guy in his 20s wouldn't have known they would have just thought it was a new car.
Hey brother that was a good-looking Mustang.. where the do you ever get a chance to shoot some 66 through 67 GTOs factory or custom I would like to see some of them
I changed a lot of things on mine...I put flare finders on it so I could bigger tires on it....strocked the motor out put a better intake on it with a 4 barrel...straight pipes from the manifold....and put American racing mags on it....this was in the 70s....but all jokes aside I continued to work on it and make it faster...when I rolled in to school in that car I turned heads...
That looks absolutely fantastic, but I am guessing it can only be a show car? I can't imagine turning off the street into a business and with the wheels turned, them clearing the fender flare when the wheel goes over the curb. The Grabber Blue really adds something to it too.
The thing that makes it cool looking is not the horsepower, but the adding to the wheel base and bringing the front wheels forward. Glad you went to the coyote. The v-10 was a big lump. The v-10 front end weight must have made it steer like a pig. Also thanks for getting rid of the celica rear.
I couldn’t hear what he said those door handles were in the first video of this car you did. Did anyone catch what was said? I also love how he eliminated the turn signals off the grill and added thin ones below. What are those lights off of? I’d love to make the swap on mine.
@@ScottieDTV Right. I was saying I watched the first video. Could not understand what he was saying, there was interference in the sound from background noise. Was wondering if anyone knew what he was saying.
No nova z28 351 Cleveland could touch me...I could smoke my tires for 1/8 of a mile and could probably done it longer...but I was on school property...so I kind of keep it to a minimum...but back then speed was where it was at...specially in high school

@@coreybaiera The door handles are Kindig. The front turn signals are from a Jeep Liberty, they fit the custom bumper perfectly!

Agreed!!
A Mustang 2 wow who would have thunk it possible.
I hear ya.....
WOW!!

So the transmission is in the rear connected to the engine by a torque tube? Because the z06 is a transaxle car.
All I know is in the video...sorry
I just bought a 1978 mustang ll. I’m looking for some help to get things going! Can you point me in the right direction?
This is the only cool one I am aware of ....

Not hating on this, however I actually preferred the Celica tail lights
Thanks for checking it out!!
