This video is great. I work with a lot of Romanian people in the UK. I find they really appreciate it when I try speak Romanian to them. Even just the basic "good morning", "How are you" "Thank you". This video will help me expand my vocabulary a bit more. Mulțumesc....❤
I recently had the pleasure of meeting her at the British Embassy in Bucharest. She was really kind and it was lovely to meet her and speak to her. I said I recognised her and she was really humble.
Thank you. I'm an English man working with romainian people and I wanted to make an effort to learn a few phrases, and I must say I'm very excited and i can't wait to watch the rest of your videos. Very well done 👏
I'm from neighbor country Bulgaria, and plan to visit your country soon. These lessons are very helpful. Although, Romanian language is very different from ours and other Slavic languages, I find some similarities with French and Italian. For example "La Revedere" is very close to "arrivederci".
It would shock you all if you would know the true history of words, expressions and languages of Europe, how they came to be, how they were transmitted and modified from one group of people to another. Some of that knowledge is kept secret, under lock (but at least still available) and some of it has been lost over the ages.
Thank you that was amazing. Well taught and presented. I love the ch sound in Romanian along with the rolling R. My favorite phrases are : "Ce mai faci?" and," La reveder!" I speak French so it was not too difficult to pronounce the R. Looking forward to more lessons. Mersi!
The amount of Portuguese words shared in Romanian is pretty interesting. Portuguese, Italian and some French. People who mistake Spanish for Portuguese won't tell it tho.
Thank you for the helpful lesson! But "Unde este toaleta?" should be translated into English as "Where is the toilet?", not "Where is the bathroom?" I know that Americans use "bathroom" or "restroom" as an euphemism when what they really mean is "toilet", but it's stupid! There's nothing wrong in the word "toilet"! When I need the toilet, I need the toilet, I don't want to take a bath! And I don't want to defecate into a bath. No, thank you! There is a toilet for this purpose.

Originally you was used in English to refer to several people. Thou was used to refer to one person.
Multimesc
Great video, but excuse me - "da" sounds Bulgarian, not Russian!
Great point.
you forgot the most used word in romania ''puuuuula mea''
"Ieu"?...
Paaaaa
She looks like marissa tomei aka Spider-Man’s hot aunt
you need to speak more slowly then very slowly so we can pick up on the pronunciation better.
The upspeak in English is an annoying distraction.

bathroom is actually baie/baia . Also if you want just the crapper as the brittish call it you can say veceu ( shortened to wc)
@@Ciprian-IonutPanait Thanks for the info!
