You are exactly right. The Old Fisherman is a great inspiration for me. I've learned a lot from his videos and I really enjoy watching them. Wanted to be sure to give him credit for the "2-Jig-Rig". Thanks for watching and for commenting and please subscribe if you haven't already - and thanks for that too!
@@Tate_865 First off, thanks for watching and for commenting and for subscribing! I hope you like our channel! I prefer the 1/8 oz. VMC Mooneye jig head with shades of blue in the paint. We will occasionally use 1/4oz. The main reason I like those jig heads (other than they do a good job of catching fish) is that they don't have a big lead barbed collar just behind the head. They have a "v" shaped piece of hook wire to hook the body on. I don't like those big thick lead barbed collars! One of these days I hope to find a "collar-less" jig head like the "live bait Walleye Fishermen" use - that I actually like! But right now it's the VMC Mooneye. Hope you some luck when you come down on vacation!
@@littlehorsecreekadventures thanks you so much. We are coming to Elijah Clark and visiting with some family in Evans Ga. I hope to catch some crappie and striper while on our spring break. I really enjoy your videos.
Just found your channel. Sounds like y'all had a good time. What's the legal size for Clark Hill? Have you heard how the crappie are biting? Love my crappie fishing. Enjoyed the video.
Glad you found us and enjoyed the video, MarkC! Thanks for watching and for commenting and please subscribe if you haven't already and thanks for that too! We did have a great time! No size limit on striper at Clarks Hill and creel limit is 10 per person. Way different rules in Russel up river and below the Clarks Hill Dam. We had heard the Crappie had been biting pretty good in the upper end of the lake. We really enjoy Crappie fishing too but we usually have a hard time finding them. When you have time, please check out some of our other videos. Thanks again.
i see y'all back on 'em again. watching now 👍
another good at The Hill. we've got to get back down that way and see what the crappie are doing. thanks for another great video 👍
@@351cleveland8 We had to go back after such a good day! It was colder and a slower bite but we still had a great day! Thanks my friend!
