Thank you Rich for your comment, I'm very flattered that you appreciate my version of this great song! Thank you also for the indications concerning the instruments that were used in this track ;)
You produced a great arrangement on this song! I remember that I tried to play this song on my first synth Roland D-20 when I was 15 years old in 1988. I'm really impressed by all the musical productions you've been part of all these years. Congratulations for all this work!
This Song is 32 Years old! It's a Really Great Memory at my Childhood and Today I'm 40 Years old and i was at the age of 8 When Tell It to My Heart was Released, I like the Music of the 80's and also of the 90's 👍Greetings from Germany!
Fantastic. It's only seeing you put all the sounds together that gives a full appreciation of the fantastic layered composition and orchestration of this tune. I love the kick Snare pattern and the synth fills are epic. Great work.
This is so cool! It's great to be able to see the break down of how you composed your cover of this 80's classic pop dance song. Thanks for taking the time to break it all down. Loving what your doing. Subscribing now!!
DX7 for the bell ID line. EMU 11 for Piano (along with 5 other layers) Minimoog for Bass. Memory moog for accents with mod wheel up. Leslie's vocal sample mixed with Oberheim Xpander for ID lines.
this was perfect!!!!! this synths was the best of all times and tsil the best today !!!!!!!!!!! very rich and crystal clear quality sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!korg m1 and roland dx7 has history on his backs!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job! I am in love with this instrumental cover, the best out there! If you don’t mind any requests, I was thinking if you could do “Prove Your Love” by Taylor Dayne? Thank you! :)
You might not believe this, but I went to school in a really small town called Shoreham NY, where they were building a nuclear power plant and were throwing millions into the small schools budget, when we got to 6th grade(1984) are music program had a dozen Jupiter 8s and Juno-106s...our music teacher also had the "Dragon" dual cassette recorder, which opened on its own and flipped the tape...in 97' i was teaching FLS.
Fantastic cover!,i always loved this track,it has so many sparkling, great sounding synthi sounds in it and that synthi bass, helllll yeeeaaaahhhh!!!. :-D
Nice job covering that song. I have a Roland HS 60 synthesizer too. It's a Juno 106 with speakers, it's the home version of the same synthesizer. I liked how you played the instruments separately first before you did the whole song. It sounded like you used the base, string pad, and synthe bell lead on the chorus using the Juno 106. Nice work!
I feel the night explode when we're together Emotion overload in the heat of pleasure Take me I'm yours into your arms Never let me go Tonight I really need to know Tell it to my heart Tell me I'm the only one Is this really love or just a game? Tell it to my heart I can feel my body rock every time you call my name The passion's so complete It's never ending As long as I receive, the message you're sending Body to body, soul to soul Always feel you near So say the words I long to hear Tell it to my heart Tell me I'm the only one Is this really love or just a game? Tell it to my heart I can feel my body rock every time you call my name Love, love on the run, breaking us down Though we keep holding on I don't want to lose, no I can't let you go Tell it to my heart Tell me I'm the only one Is this really love or just a game? Tell it to my heart I can feel my body rock every time you call my name Tell it to my heart, tell me from the start, tell it to my heart Tell it to my heart, tell me from the start, tell it to my heart Never make it stop Oh, take it to the heart, ah ah Tell it to my heart Tell me I'm the only one Is this really love or just a game? Tell it to my heart I can feel my body rock every time you call my name Tell it to my heart Tell me I'm the only one Is this really love or just a game?
Et il continue à nous plonger dans les 80's ..Il a été bercé avec ce style musical depuis tjrs je pense pour arriver à ce résultat. Allé Merci et faite nous plaisir..Bravo. 👌👍
Great programming on that DX. I was aware that it could make analog-ish sounds but those are scary close to the ones out of your run-of-the-mill polysynth. Great stuff.
Great version. Sounds spot on... I could even use that to extend the 12" version and make it last a good 10+ minutes!!!! Excellent video 😄😊👍👍 Perhaps you could do the same with Sabrina's "Boy's boy's boys".... If you remember that song.
I like your instructional method. Also the sound quality is fantastic (despite the RUclips compression). The essence of the song comes right through. Well done m8
@@batterieman3001 I have already. He is good. But nothing touches Papa dont preach. It was virtually like listening to an instrumental of the original. I'm working on a remake of Michael Jacksons another part of me right now. I will upload it in the next two weeks.
Kick ass. I was trying to remember the lead part (playing on a system 8 not an actual Juno!) and did a quick Google search to happily find you. Great job!
Pretty damn close! Memory Moog (high synth) Vocal sample/Oberheim Xpander (middle breakdown ID line)

It's so GREAT !!! The roland Juno 106 is a machine made in heaven.
I use to have this record as a young Dj in the 80's to 90's and retired in 2004.

Appreciate the time and effort to resurect these beats from long ago, now only if they made a comeback into the MAINSTREAM..

Nice job again Franck! Greetings from Brasil.
Brasil? Why did Portuguese change the Z to an S? English spells it Brazil.
Wow. Perfect clone/DNA👍
One thing this taught me is that they apparently loved using lots of brass sounds on this song.
Synth brass was everywhere in the '80s. You couldn't walk through a shopping mall without being accosted by someone playing a fake trumpet.
Absolutely beautiful reproduction of a superb pop tune! I found this in Reddit and just subscribed to your channel.
