Joe Burrow is so on fire he threw the ball straight to a defender when the Bengals were just trying to kill clock. Then, with 90 seconds and 3 timeouts to try to lead a GW drive, he failed to get a first down.
Before Burrows contract, if Burrow played well, the Bengals won. Every time. But with 55 million a year, you can play outstanding and still lose. For obvious reasons. This is something many teams are about to learn quick, fast, and in a hurry.
You know, as long as Commanders are competitive, that will show real progress. These are the games the Commanders/Redskins would get destroyed. And remember, the defense has improved every week. Just like the offense, they need time to gel too. Two new DEs, new LB group, a rookie at CB, a new FS in Chinn….and a new DC in Whitt. It’s going to take time, but it’s toughening up.

As far as the Jaden Daniels Lamar Jackson comparisons it’s not a good comparison. Why? Because Jaden Daniels is a way better passer than Lamar was and is right now. Jaden can run very fast perhaps even faster than Lamar in a straight line but most of his yards come in the air. Lamar has never even thrown for 4000 yards before. Jaden threw for 4000 in 12 games at LSU.
The house wins it all...especially since the gambling industry made a 'business arrangement' with the NFL. If the books need an outcome, the refs massage the outcome.
