This was a nice surprise to see posted today! IF the Old Gods ARE flung through space from the Void, I'm glad this take on it makes a litttle bit more sense than the astronomically lucky blind leap of faith we're told of in Chronicle ~ Buuuttt keep an eye out, gamers, because Pyro and I are working on presenting another Old God origin angle together! 😉
Yo Xaxxas, after watching this vid, now i'm wondering, what if Magni wasn't speaking to Azeroth this whole time since she's asleep (and i'm fairly certain is Azathoth the dreamer in lovecraft) but instead he was speaking to the sun, which would mean in TWW cinematic, it wasn't just Thrall and Anduin, there was clearly a third character in that scene and it was there the entire time!
Guys, please go give Xaxxas some views on the actual video after finishing this. Let it play in the background or walk away from it for a bit. We love pyro, but let's give Xaxxas some engagement. He deserves it, too!
My void elf has been running around telling everyone that will listen that she has a theory that the sun is like Beledar. If it is, then it could turn to shadow. I'm surprised to see a video about this. Though, of course, the lore gurus would have thought about it too.
I love that you say that you’d be down with Apexis within the beledar. I’m always reminded of this bit. “The Apexis had blueprints for a "Temple in the Sky", but it is unclear if they ever actually built it.” This might be the temple they built on the top of the spire of Arak.” The top of the spire of Arak, held the apexis breath of rhakmar, that was built over by their temple of light. The temple of light had carving in runes, and was rumored to be massive. I think it’s important to remember that Arak use to be just one giant spire, it was only after the “destruction” of the breath of rhamar that it was blown into smaller SPIRES. I still think there is a chance that the beledar could be this temple of light. The Apexis Cores are the heart of Apexis technology - solar energy condensed into a resin crystal. Kinda like the resin crystal we see the beledar as, solar energy breathing life into an area that shouldn’t have such life.
Theory: The void plane occupies the same physical space as the prime plane we are used to. So wherever there's a Light God(Sun) there's a Void God in the same location. Instead of the void being some far away power like the Far Realms in Dungeons and Dragons, its more akin to a multi-layerered reality with different forces able to cross into the prime plane, battling for dominance on it. Naru are crystaline vessels for whatever of the two light/void powers can dominate them at the time. Suns are just giant Naru-like entities that can also flip to void which would likely then empower the void+X planes, void+life, void+fire, etc. The same way the current Light aligned sun empowers the Light+X planes: Nature, Holy Fire, etc
The sad truth about Anshe, is that if he was real..as an individual deity…the two biggest theories about him would make his appearance in Legion or Shadowlands mandatory. Instead the sister to Elune is the Winter Queen and Elune is an upstart goddess in eyes of the Void. No mention of Anshe having a connection to Elune
I love Xaxxas vids, he always does a really great job! I really hope that soon we go into the Hallowfall Crystal & that The War Within is ongoing in there! There is an old concept picture of stairs going from the Hallowfall Chapel into the Crystal with a door!
I think of these things from a artistic point of view, if everything in the Warcraft universe has a binary state and the titans came to order that mechanic to their advantage, and we know the opposite of a titan is the void lords, then it stands to reason there are 2 main characters in the universe, one that created it, and one that ends it, or in this case, as everything has a binary state, just one character that within a cycle, creates, and then ends the universe. If you're a super powerful being like the titans and you find this out, what would you do in order to stop this cycle from taking place? In lovecraftian lore Azathoth is known as "The dreamer", i'm sure you know this story already, but The first and oldest of the gods, Azathoth sleeps, and while they sleep they dream reality. Keepers along with Nyarlothartep are tasked with keeping them asleep so reality can continue, if Azathoth is to wake up, reality ceases to exist. I believe Xal'atath is Nyarlothatep in this situation, and isn't the harbinger of the void, Nyarlothartep is known as the Harbinger of Azathoth. I believe from a story telling perspective at least, Azaroth is waking, and Xal'atath is her Harbinger. A new cycle is about to begin, a cosmic hour of midnight, the darkest hour, and the titans, including Sargeras, will stop at nothing to avoid this from happening.
wait, so the naaru fell from the sky, landed here, came in contact with life and void, mutated (i remember those mutations around exodar) and became old gods? that would explain why its 5 naaru and 6 old gods - cant be a coincidence
Wait, you’re saying the best mythology is one in which the creator of the universe is sacrificed for the continuation of people souls despite their entropic limitations? You don’t say
What is nyalorha is 1 layer only in azeroth but it's like mimicing the top. Like how another way titans prisoned them and you don't really need Eonar only for checking and giving. What if Eonar was the who did the new top layer.
And one more. Elune new voidlord? When tyrande had elunes power it is so same looking what void spells looks. Like priest hero talents. Void and stars looking abilitys.
it may be that every cosmic force claims to be the origin of life, while ALL are basically a product of azeroth maybe? its like that "not god created us, we created god" thing.
whats interesting is that a re-holy-ed naaru doesnt get full gold again, its a mix of gold-purple-ish - like the ones seen in shattrath. also: shattrath - shatyar - shat - means void/shadow - so shatrath is city of shadows? and NOT city of light actually?
Do you think that maybe each titan was a solar system in terms of there powers like maybe azeroth is a system of cosmic forces? Im real bad at wording it but maybe the orbiting "bodies" of certain "world souls" influence the outcome of a titan
Interesting. So Xal'atath could be a void naaru? That's just something I'm having a bit of trouble wrapping my head around. "I'm older than you know...." I think is what she said to Alleria. "No one can kill me." But we've seen naaru killed, isn't that what happened with the void naaru that Alleria took the energy of? "The Naaru are my siblings..." is another quote and that just breaks my brain. Any way to explain that part?
if only blizz writers and devs were as smart as this guy, but they are not and they write by the seat of their pants; they themselves most likely do not know what is what even now.

Props for staying in character the whole time. It sounds very RPG quest giver. I thought it was fun.

The admiration between these creators is awsome to behold. It also creates amazing content, thank you both for this food for thought ❤

I love it when a creator compliments anothers work it is very becoming

Xaxxas is criminally under subscribed, and deserves so many more views
Xal being a harbinger for the titans seems fitting because the titans did come and move the world soul of karesh

And what if the hallowfall "sun" is the bomb? Its wierd all started hear the song but sametime "sun" starts chabge between light->void->light.

Getting killed by Elune when you try to zap the power in the tomb of Sargaeras as a Shadow Priest will never not be hilarious
that comment, he says, "the ordering of light and shadow"
Shadow has been ordered? possibly into void? did the titans help make the void lords?

we live on the sun, like on its shell, and the sun is actually in the core. hollow-earth stuff ^^
no one is going to point that the sun going dark could be exactly "midnight"?

Might Xal'Atath be the blue child? It did travel before returning in The Eyes of The Earth Mother.
And one more. Elune new voidlord? When tyrande had elunes power it is so same looking what void spells looks. Like priest hero talents. Void and stars looking abilitys.
the light would NURTURE LIFE where ever they may find it - so nope: light did not create life. it nurtured it!
it may be that every cosmic force claims to be the origin of life, while ALL are basically a product of azeroth maybe? its like that "not god created us, we created god" thing.

Do you think that there is more "natural" sun made of elements not anything connected to light or shadow?
Do you think that maybe each titan was a solar system in terms of there powers like maybe azeroth is a system of cosmic forces? Im real bad at wording it but maybe the orbiting "bodies" of certain "world souls" influence the outcome of a titan
Have Pyro watched the Eternals from Marvel? Just for reference about beings inside planet it could be interesting

Not just a void naaru, but one of the first - perhaps even greater than a 'prime' naaru.
Xal just gave herself curse of flesh lul
if only blizz writers and devs were as smart as this guy, but they are not and they write by the seat of their pants; they themselves most likely do not know what is what even now.
Doesn’t the skybox shattering above icc prove that the sky is “fake”?
It might just be that the sky in this instance is where the gateway form between material and shadowlands
@@thomasbardoux1692well if the sky there can be a gateway then why not anywhere else?
OMG! Gift of flesh -> Old Gods ARE NOT the ENEMY! The void is actually anti-flesh.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sargeras is powerfull yeah... I think Azeroth probably shits on Sargeras 😂 that line kills me 😂
