I love this video for so many reasons but mostly because it shows that Che isn’t the stereotype that so many people think he is. He’s a smart man who obviously puts a lot of thought and work into his work and comedy. The way that he spoke really made me listen
Sooo, “stereotype”? What was the “stereotype most people thought he was”? Am I missing something? It’s disappointing how some people see a black man in a hoodie and sneakers, or just a black man and expect them to not be intelligent, not well spoken or lower class. I’m speaking from firsthand experience as I am a mother of 2 teenage boys who look just like him. It’s hurtful.
I know it! I love when they essentially proclaim their love, respect, and admiration for each other. It IS hard - like REALLY HARD, especially as an adult with a life, to find a great friend. A great friend who you can work with in a high profile pressure cooker industry, hang out with, get onstage with, AND crack each other up constantly? That's GOLD. It makes me so happy too.
These girls may not sound smart, but they're actually asking pretty incisive questions. As for the interviewees: Colin's obviously the out-in-front leader, but I found Che to be beguilingly introverted. They're already a legendary duo.
I don't feel like the young women understand comedy very well or at least understand the Jost-Che dynamic. It seemed that other questions would have better engaged both comedians, been more organic, and might have highlighted the interviewers skill better. For example, the question about making Trump jokes that are not offensive and bring everyone together?! Comedy is designed to push limits and boundaries. It was nice to see Che answer questions more intellectually than in previous interviews. He's very intelligent.
They asked a few decent questions but those girls were not the best at interviewing. Maybe they were just nervous, I don't know, but any interviewer that is speaking with a mainstream celebrity needs to have a lot more charisma to bring the interview to life.
lala lova Dude, seriously! These guys have been in the game for a few years now, whether it's been on SNL or their individual stand up shows. You can definitely tell that they were trying harder than usual to try and make this interview more interesting and entertaining because it will absolutely reflect on their careers. Those girls need to understand that the entertainment industry isn't just about substance but also presence, and they had no presence in this interview what so ever. They are severely lacking in personality and it's rather disappointing.
The interviewers were dry, maybe because they were nervous, but I think more because they were young. With experience comes confidence, and they could have used more of each.
example of low quality interview: you get couple of the most interesting current comedians and you just have ZERO input to drive the interview to any direction
These poor girls are so nervous lol

And what stereotype is that?

I don't know I'm just so glad they're friends for real it just makes me happy I don't know why

They're definitely smart with their questions. They just seem incredibly nervous.
Lot of hate for the interviewers. This is a college journalism group. Take it easy.
"...mugs of hot water"? is that what they're drinking? why?
Ha ha I don't think the girls know who Doogie Howser is!
you guys, you guys, you guys, you guys, you guys, you guys, etc....maybe that's a little much
If they did a 30 minute “Weekly Update” show on NBC once a week? Most watched show on network TV. Zero question.
i get 95 percent of my news from weekend update
Colin, stop looking so excited.

5:34 Colin's eyeballs, as he wonders how he "...finds the good stuff?"...
Man I find that brunette just drop dead gorgeous 😍
Me too.
His name is Colin Jost.

SPOT ON. Could not have said it any better.

Klumps😂😂😂

They are PAINful to watch... >
These girls are horrible at interviewing and had no business interviewing such high-caliber gentlemen.
chouter21 Didn't you hear what Che and Jost said about failure?
I really admire these guys, but I also think the girls are gutsy for doing it.
It's a university journalism group. If anything, it's testimony that these guys are indeed great people.
You have to start somewhere. If people never get a chance how will they ever go anywhere in their journey
