  • Bald Eagles and Blue Heron hunting along the shores of Seabeck WA on Hood Canal. It's normal to see as many as 50+ Bald Eagles in this area during low tide in the afternoon. Bring a camera with a long lens (400mm +).

Quintessential Seabeck video. I visited this place and it brought back memories. Well composed with excellent clarity punctuated by close up photos and video shots. Thanks very much for sharing.I also did a video and posted it on youtube under shaukatmi but it is amateur work.

There are fish that burrow under the oysters to lay their eggs, and then stay to guard them. The Eagles and Herons (Seagulls too) feed on those fish. @3:30 you can see one of them an Eagle has caught.
