    Dean Nelson is such a warm, gracious host, it's always a pleasure to watch his interviews. He's kind, interested, cares about his guests, and is such an active listener and asks such good questions, has a good sense of humor, warm smile, great laugh.

    Anne Lamont speaks volumes(literally) to those of us who "get her".
    I especially like hearing about her struggles, her questioning doubts, and her unresolved issues. Sometimes she reminds me of the "Perils of Pauline" the ongoing saga.

    I love her writing. She inspires me to just say it like it is. I wrote about her idea of the God Box the other day and created a video about how messy life is. Thanks Anne for giving us permission to be REAL

    You grow up with this in the Public School system, I did not know my history until I took the time to learn it. We all come from a very rich history and are never allowed to know it. I learned how much of history people really don't know. The Bible is a history book, its not everyones history. I think that's where the US goes wrong, and is limited in its understanding of other nations.

      I really dislike it when people call the Bible a storybook, it is a Factual History Book. It starts out as a history of the whole world. And it ends up as a history of the whole world. The metal shows the choosing of Abraham to develop the Jewish people. So he could bring a savior through them for the whole world.

    Oh, you're right. She is ditzy. She's an incredibly intelligent, passionate, and thoughtful writer who's on stage, giving live, unscripted responses to undisclosed questions. I would love to see you in the same situation and measure your level of gravitas. It's obvious you didn't listen to a word she said.

    And apparently "New Age" is bad?
    "Eat, Pray, Love" is hardly a radical book.
    And, you're so right-not everyone is equal in God's love. /sarcasm

    @metzlorijo1234 Yes, I have read Williamson. She's a follower of the New Age "A Course in Miracles." I was around whent that came out in the 70s and New Agers were eating it up. Sadly, others got deceived, too. It's a New Age philosophy - man is divine.

  • @TheExastrologer
    @TheExastrologer 14 лет назад

    @yoshihawv Yes, they do use that a lot. They also apply God's statement in the OT and Jesus' "I AM" in the gospel of John to themselves, saying we are all the "I AM." This is because they believe man is part of God or is God and has a divine nature. There are variations on how this is expresssed but it boils down to a denial of man as creature with a sin nature.
