I really don't know why people hated this Episode. One of my favorites actually.
Its not bad, its just overly contrived, too scripted, very little spontaneous banter.

@@treehousekohtao 'It's contrived' Translation: 'They picked a location and planned things to do there'. In all seriousness, I don't actually care about the scripting, not even about the notoriously winged about scene in Baffoon's Vacation where the hatch on Jezza's RV is 'jammed'. That's because the results - their RVs acting as his breaks - were real, and so was the hilarity. Their miserable boating on the choppy ocean in Seamen made for a very real adventure. James getting rocked in their wake, losing all his booze, genuinely attempting to retrieve his cushion, and their 'navigation' of the market make me laugh out loud every time.
Their journey to Moron was the best one, but this one is close second. If if the show is "scripted" it is still entertaining when they're in some difficult situations which I doubt is scripted.
One of the closer calls they all have had, even the camera crew was a about to go down in that raging ocean storm! May is the one who really surprised me! I wouldn’t have took that tiny boat out in 15 foot swells, and I’m a dare devil to! 😈At least Hammond and Clarkson have powerful sea worthy boats poor May didn’t he could barely keep that little thing afloat! Like Jeromy said we where honesty scared for you!

pretty sure none of them even broke, they probably added the glass breaking sound in after in an attempt to make it more funny.

@@bebberonibizza perhaps one or two broke, but it definitely wouldn't be the first time they added sound effects like that to spice things up.

I honestly feel so bad for James in this episode because usually he can get revenge on the other two and enjoy himself a little bit but here he looks absolutely miserable
but, then again, he could've bought himself a faster boat.
James has the best boat already.
But then he would not be Captain Slow...it's really fitting in this episode as he on a boat and really is a captain and is slow.
It was a really nice looking boat though
I actually like the Lady Christina more than the others. Her captain is a unlucky person but she steams through all the hard times of her journey.

I love how this episode is basically Clarkson payback on May and Hammond for the old top gear Vietnam special. They made him drive a Motorcycle that he hates and they loved now he got to drive a boat something that the other 2 hate.
