Very possibly my favourite Morrissey song ever. It's a shame that there isn't more written about it as lyrically it's one of his absolute best. It's well worth buying Mozipedia by Simon Goddard, he's written about every Morrissey/The Smiths song (pre world peace) in good detail. Small tidbit: Soho as mentioned in the song, (Go to Soho, go to waste in the wrong arms), is an area in West End of London known for its nightlife and as a centre for London's gay community. Can't wait for Life is a Pigsty next Friday!
Thank you so much for doing these Morrissey Friday videos. I love watching every week! Its nice to see people my age listening to and enjoying Morrissey songs. Love your channel, man!
The song seems to be about a relationship that isn't going well or not having a relationship at all. The male has "trouble" walking all around him and goes the the sex district in London, Soho, on the flesh rampage. Trouble is his desires and needs. But always ends up in the wrongs arms with prostitutes.
Why can't Morrissey write songs this good anymore? His latest albums are sh*t compared to his earlier ones. Love this song Love your reaction. Viva Moz
This song has Oasis vibes. Please, react to "Ganglord", "Istanbul", "Sister I'm a poet", "My life is a succession of people saying goodbye", "The never-played symphonies".

I second, "Sister I'm a poet" a real gem of a song!
National Front Disco would be another controversial choice!
@@jonathancole833 another terrific song! Although, maybe a little problematic for some people lol!
I never thought of the Oasis comparison, but you're right!
@@jonathancole833 there's literally no reason for that song to be controversial
Try "Lost" Nick, same era
"Lost" is extraordinary
I think it sounds a little like a James Bond theme song
I like this one. Not the best album though XD
Life is a Pigsty is good
