I decided to use dragoon garb in this boss fight due to its physical resistance and Lancet ability to replenish HP. It also looks cool during battle and cinematics with cieth wings to. :p
This is a great garb/item set for getting double deity as there is only a 15% drop chance of the weapon. I had beggar beads equipped to my dragoon garb to further increase the drop rate.

Has anyone notice that lightning uses last resort ya know hopes move from ff13-3
Status Wake I think she used Holy rather than Last Resort. After all, Last Resort is a reference to Holy magic.

Se used Last Resort. In the original dub she even names it before attacking.
I notice that Bhunivelze's in-battle quotes seem different than in normal mode. Interesting.
it's Bhunivelze+ so he is on the 14th day his quotes change as well as his looks and the way the battle plays

Wait, Double Deity is a rare drop? Then I must've been really lucky to have gotten it in Normal. Also, stuck on Hard mode.

@@SleepingWolfGaming you can reload your save as many times you want, but it also means slay Bhunivelze over and over until get the weapon. You just need to not overwrite your save after the credits, and load the onde before the boss :)

so how do you know when you perfect time an attack and does anyone have advice on how to perfect time properly thanks.
When a golden flash of light appears during an attack, that is when you know it is perfect timing. You are best off getting the item drop from beating omega arc angel, which makes it easier to activate perfect timing.
I got Double Deity on Easy Mode. Maybe it depends on how many stars you get?

Can you please tell me how to get the perfect timing on whirlwind kick? Every time I don't it I only manage to get 1 or 2 in the combo and I don't even know how I did it.
Are you aware of Forsaken Tie accessory? it is dropped buy omega arch angel and it makes it much easier to perform just attacks. You perform just attacks buy entering the next attack command just before performing the current one. This can only be performed with chainable attacks like kick and light slash.

Ok I finally got that accessory, does the effect apply to all the garbs or just the one you equip it on. Still barely able to get that perfect timing with the whirlwind kick dammit!
it takes time to get a hang of the timing even when you have the accessory so best practice on sturdy enemies like chocobo/earth eaters first. And yes it works across your whole garb set.

Hey, can you give me your statistics? Like, how much strenght did you have? Whirlwind kick deals impressive damage here...
My strength was capped at 5000, my ATB was 150-200ATB recovery throughout my garb sets. I have accessory from omega arc angel on martial munk to activate just attacks more often to quadruple damage output. I also suggest cyber avatar or quiet guardian alongside magic resistance accessories for magic immunity.

Hard mode? Oof I cannot do all that sure caius and noel were easy but thats as far as I got for the items needed to fully upgrade my favorite weapons

their not golden weapons they just have buffs on them
