The Mustang is looking great! Great building tips. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Alan!
Great video! Nice trick with the mechanical pencil for glue application. Mustang is looking awesome!👍
Thanks will. Mechanical pencils are really handy. They are good for detail painting too.
@JHartModelworks
Yeah I saw that too! I'll have to try that out
Justin she's absolutely gorgeous so far and I can't wait to see it finished ❤😊
Thanks brother!
Beautiful build and you knocked it clear out of the park for the finish and details! 👍🇨🇦
Thank you very much!
Looks really good Justin. I really like how you did the head liner.
Thanks Mark! HAve a great one!
“The kit part was really terrible and then I lost it”. 😂😂😂 Felt Justin, felt. Really great work going on here. You’re killing me with the decals too. 🤣. The tiny ones are no fun for sure. Also the really huge ones suck. But I actually enjoy decals. Anyways. Awesome work as always
Dude, story of my life. Somewhere in almost every video on the MGB I say, I 3D designed this part .... because I lost the one from the kit.
@@JHartModelworks lol. I have a similar problem but no 3d printer so I find myself scrounging the parts box.
What a beautiful build! Always enjoy your build videos. Thanks Justin!
Thanks Ed. Hopefully she'll be wrapping up soon. Have a great week.
Just, it’s turning out incredible …… keep building it brother!!!!!!
Thanks brother
That looks killer! I can’t wait to see this one finished!
Thanks Frank. Honestly I'll be glad to see this one finished myself.
Mustang is looking amazing Justin!
@CBModelworks thanks Chris!
Great video, Justin. I really liked the way you did the headliner. 👍
Thanks! Have a great one
Incredible details, like the mechanical pencil trick 👍
Thanks you very much. Mechanical pencils are really useful tools.
Outstanding workmanship Justin very well done buddy 👍👍🏆
Thanks Seamus!
Just a killer looking build there Justin. I'm liking it.
Thanks Zippy she's been fun so far.
Awesome headliner work Justin! Beautiful build! 😎👍
Thank you very much!
Nice detail on the headliner, the Predator 5.2 looks right at home under the hood... Looking good Justin!
Thanks Kreg! And thanks for stopping by!
Build is looking awesome buddy. The detail is absolutely amazing.
Thanks buddy!
Outstanding work. Killer build.
Thanks Larry! Have a great weekend!
Looking really nice Justin
Thanks Tom!
Great vid Justin 🤜🤛
Thanks Tim!
@@JHartModelworks 👍
Love watching your videos you do some awesome work and how you show how to do things.
Thanks! Have a great weekend
This is looking amazing so far Justin!
Thanks Joe! :)
You forgot the headliner light..LOL Very nice build.
@freeatleast actually I didn't forget. I 3D printed one of my dome lights for the build, but all the reference photos I looked at on actual 69 cobra jets didn't show a dome light. I think there may have been some tiny map lights in the back but I just didn't want to mess with anything that small. They would be less than a mm diameter circles.
But thanks for watching attentively! 😁👍
@@JHartModelworks I never got to drive a cobra but the 70??? Boss I did get to drive had one.
She is awesome brother great job 😊
Thanks! Have a great weekend
@JHartModelworks yw always brother! You too!!
Amazing work its coming out great.
Thanks you very much!
Morning Justin man very nice work a detailing , down to the over flow, tons of helpful information here. I need to buy some of that wire. And that headlines technique was super cool
Thanks JT. A lot of my wire comes off ebay now like all the colored wires I use for spark plugs. But I have a huge assortment of wire's I've gathered over many years and several hobbies 🤣😂
Great update. I love the optima battery and sun visor. I need yo get my hands some of them battery's thanks for sharing brother
Thanks Jamie. I like the setup on these. The way the person designed them the cap and body are seperate which makes it easy to paint.
Great looking build, learned a couple of new things watching this video. You've go my sub!
@@JustBelowAverageModelCars thanks! Welcome to the channel.
Looking great
Thanks
Although I'm not a fan of the 1:1 I love your Optima battery. Everything looks Great Justin!!!! I like this conversion much more than the 72 widebody kit. Look forward to seeing her come together. I'll be watching
Thanks Mike. Some of the 3D printed wide body kits out there have a cool idea, but they are too thick and sit way out off the body. They look too ... noticeable to me.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks, and thanks for watching
Looking good 🤘on
Thanks
Now i see why you needed the hacksaw!!!!! Hahaaaa!!
Yep. Thanks for the suggestion.
Super great job my friend, could u tell me where u got your 32 gauge wires,Thanks in advance
I can, I get my 32 and 34 gauge wires from ebay. Here's one of the places I buy from. www.ebay.com/itm/153696744931?var=453711853052
@@JHartModelworks thank you so much,I really appreciate the help
❤❤❤!!!!!¡!!¡!!!!!😮
Question where did you find your glue pens
Took me a second to figure out what you were asking about. What I'm applying ca glue with is just a run of the mill .5mm mechanical pencil. run out some lead and dip just the lead into some glue (I pour out a drop of glue into a bottle cap) and you can apply tiny drops of glue that way. when you are done break off and throw away the lead.
How do you get the white lettering on the valve covers, etc. so clean?
These letters are recessed, which makes it a lot easier. I may show it in the engine video, I forget. Anyhow, the valve covers are painted in lacquers. I then go over the letters in a water-based acrylic (I used vallejo white here). Once that has dried a bit, I then take a slightly damp cotton bud and wipe over the flat surface. I use ump airbrush cleaner, but water will work just as well, it may take a little longer. Don't get it soaking wet, or the water will squeeze out when you press down and get down into the letters.
For raised letters I apply paint to a flat rubber pencil eraser, and very gently tap down on just the top surface, essentially rubber stamping the paint on them.
@@JHartModelworks Thanks so much, bro. I'm going to try that trick for raised letters.
