- Our lovely patient had one treatment of CO2 resurfacing laser treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation for acne scarring.
The CO2 laser targets damaged skin to break it down whilst leaving the remaining skin intact. It’s subtle but acne scars lightened. You usually need more than one session to see a big difference though.
Be very careful with this procedure as it causes facial fat loss due to the heat …….. no one will ever admit to this but I know because it happened to me 😢😢

Laser will not melt any fat because it doesn't penetrate deep enough and all laser has target to delivery energy for co2 it is water and fat cells simply does not absorb laser energy at all.

It's just atm thing, it vanishes as soon as you apoly ice. I did my CO2 just today but for my tattoo. It just becomes a bit red after and It's all good in 2 days or so. I haven't done it for my face yet. But I was recommended to do that today and so I came here to check how it would work on the face.

also that’s not blistering wtf. lol i had a 2nd degree burn from a mask on the side of my nose and goddamn the blisters were insane. i’m looking into treatment for my acne scarring but i’m scared my skin is actually gonna blister bad.

I'm 72 years old and just had it done on my face neck and chest. I did this 12yrs ago. My doctor has me wrapping my face and gauze with a vinegar solution to bring out the red and then I proceeded to wash my face with the serum that he gave to me pat dry your face and a little more different kind of the biggest thing always have clean fingers. Do not peel or touch anything it will fall off a automatically. This time was totally different. So blessed that I could do. My doctor wasn't cheap

So if you have problems with your skin I highly recommend Dr capraro in Cherry Creek Colorado I finished all my pill taking tomorrow I do not hear anybody talking about what they do after the procedure minimal I know I did it before Christmas but I look great for New Year's❤

Chemical peel caused a permanent pigmentation around my mouth over years around laugh lines..after so many I got away from those ugly lines and black spots at lips join .. chemical peels are too harsh n definitely damage delicate skin near cheek n chin. I feel in laser, doctor has control over laser n gives less intense laser at delicate skin and so is less damage.
It's as if young people with near enough baby skin, have gotten lazy with working out, drinking water and eating healthy. Honestly with patience your organs will thank you for it. Having a good skincare routine works wonders too
Has anyone taken ALMA HYBRID CO2 laser here ? My doctor has suggested me it for my open pores and melasma but Iam quite afraid to go for it as I have a very sentive thin dehydrated skin.
