Yea. When i started playing deadlock i was initially disappointed that enemies can just walk through my sensors. Now that I've learned good sensor placements where enemies are sure to make noises, it became very easy to get a sure kill with pretty low risk to myself.
Wow, amazing video. Loved how you went through and highlighted the strengths of the comp by asking questions, just like how anyone else would organically think through the theory. Perfect length, imo nothing was lacking in detail or over detailed.

fun fact : double sentinel comp has existed since the early day of valorant, especially with kj comes to the valorant picture, thats where there a certain time period, where almost every sentinel consistently get nerf in every patch. ending the sentinel double comp. now we re seeing the the reliving of it .
The double walls of sage and deadlock on and 2 site maps is really good too. It almost always forces attackers to run mid or gives defenders enough time to rotate for support

As someone who loves playing deadlock, it once happened to me that we got a cypher on our team while I went with deadlock.
Although the attack side didn't go that well we easily caught up on defense js bcs of how strong these two are :)

Yeah, before even watching, deadlock and cypher ESPECIALLY on ascent are honestly insane. Lot of t2 teams using it, and honestly if those t2 teams ran against t1 teams on ascent, they might stomp their lights out.
I’m surprised most teams haven’t made a switch yet, but it’s probably due to comfort roles.

i main deadlock and I've always notice when there was a cypher on my team, the enemy team almost always is dead or half dead by the time they get to a site.

I agree that deadlock is a great agent cause I am deadlock main and the wall method always work and and you could counter attack enemies and the wall also makes them trapped and will have to break it to pass which distracts them giving us time to take them down and I mostly win with her with mvps too. Definitely recommend her.

I loved dl's util when she was released and everyone was arrogant enough to call her shit n useless but never understood she has a completely different sentinel playstyle compared to other sentis

I have been warning people on Cypher/Deadlock, im waiting everyone to find out about Harbor/Gekko infinite clearing and perfect retakes...
People are gonna adapt to deadlock postplant. This is just the shock the teams are realising they can’t retake running into sites.
They can either counter pick a Kayo or get creative with smokes to funnel into the sites safely or just walk and risk the peek.

Turtle troop didnt invent the cypher deadlock comp, that was actually the Chinese Ninjas in Pyjamas team
generally deadlock is a reactive breach. you dont play her utils like a typical sentinel. She has a strong trap play like breach. Imagine letting the enemy jett dash in and u pop ur wall blocking any enemy support and you have a clear view of enemy stuck on the wall.
Remember to play like cypher or deadlock. Even if there is one specific really good setup, mix it up and you might get some stuff you like better.

Let’s go, “that’s my Cypher Main” - Elit. Cypher and Deadlock are broken at aggression in any map. And their setups are just to simple to destroy enemies Mental.
How is Sen x Fnatic abusing this comp while the first played it twice in vct overall, and Fnatic litteraly played it 1 time ?
Pls mention also sensors placed where enemy flanking.... But being mindful where enemy doesn't use shift walk...
Planted spike, box or wall where they cannot be broken or enemy rushes to pass. Sample below window at bind, behind box at portal A.
Grabnet and raze granade is perfect too.
sensors for flank is really bad, thats part of the reason why cypher+DL compliment eachother

GenG defeated this comp on bind today but idk if that statistic u gave is just for ascent. Either way it literally just happened tbf
thats because rrq was spreading all the util on defense out of paranoia and xffero was ass. he throws two rounds in a row, to a raze nade while watching youtube on b and walks into a standard brimstone smoke molly on defense a. those two rounds were on buys and an absolute waste. they didn't util stack unpredictably to make cypher deadlock most effective because they're so paranoid with raze nade and boombot trip activation. and when geng knew they where there, jemkin and estrella had no confidence to hold their own with smoke and blind.
xffero and lmemore are not a good combination with deadlock cypher becuase the way they play doesn't maximize utility. lmemore's comfort is sova and all he does is scout info for the team. he is not great with aggression so they believed deadlock was the next available agent for him, only to find that he's very poor on execution playing sentinel. he plays predictable because deadlock is out of his comfort zone. what should have happened was jemkin or monyet on deadlock instead and lmemore remain sova
