What game is this? I have played Call of duty Modern Warfare 3 and I don't recognise none of these scenes...and some characters...
It's Operation Kingfish set between MW1 and MW2. October 7th (I think the 7th) 2013 3 years before MW2 where Task Force 141 and Delta Force try to take down Makarov. The snipers were Sandman and Frost at the beginning. And at the end where Price sacrificed himself is why he ended up in the Gulag in MW2 and how Soap became Field Commander/ Captain of Task Force 141 and the scar he has on his face in MW2 and MW3 is from the RPG that hit him. It's not a mission in any of the Modern Warfares. Search the rest of it. It'll become more clear then.

TheAwkwardCantaloupe RPG cant really reach that altitude to take it out. A SMAW, JAV, or STINGER could tho. However, this was most like a low budget film so they could not afford to get a real SMAW or Jav or stinger. I highly doubt there would be props for those kinds of antiaircraft weps. RPG is always the most common and cheapest thing to get whether it be real or a prop.

Though I like the film there are several problems.
1.) AC-130s usually only operate at night.
2.) It was unnecessary for Price to sacrifice himself.
3.) At that close proximity the RPG would have taken the whole squad down with its concussion wave.
4.) RPG-7V2s don't lock onto vehicles or aircraft and would never hit an AC-130 at that range.
5.) The Delta force operators seemingly appear out of nowhere and were not in the operation to begin with.

Idk where the hell you get your info from but as a guy that has read multiple book about SFODD and takes a strong interest in the way they operate (because it's my goal in life) I can tell you you're very wrong. Not only are they allowed to wear civilian clothing to hide the fact they are military (which is very much outside of what the Army allows their normal soldiers to wear) but they also aren't even officially recognized by our government so if they get captured, we can deny all involvement.

The fact that at the end, John or soap actually puts a knife right on Makarov's eye is amazing. At the end of modern warfare 2, general Shephard is the one who ends up getting the knife thrown on his eye by soap. It was kind of a teaser to what actually happens throughout this story.

And how does it track targets? By locking on them. The RPG-7 is an anti-tank/anti-personel rocket sisem. The 9K32/9K34 Strela was a SAM.
Not only that, but AC-130s don't fly on daytime missions and even if they do (It has never actually happened) they most likely would stay high above the clouds.
movies like lone survivor, battle los angeles, red dawn are amazing modern war movies, but i really wish for a cod movie, the reason is because may the grapichs and the mp might be the same, the unrealistic camping is fucking aswome, seeing an atomic bomb launching on a city, or an emp being use while seeing it form space... speachless

But given the intel they got during the raid (the foreshadowing of Zakhaev's Airport), I would assume after this, it was better for Shepherd to just bypass the lead on Alex the Red. That way, it would exclude 141's involvement to get 627 (Price) and ultimately, Shepherd would get what he wanted. But then again, there wouldn't be an dramatics if that happened. Villains plan poorly I suppose.

that was soap's voice actor, he's credited with starring in the film on imbd. the actual actor was probably not able to come close enough to soap's voice so they probably had to hire the actual voice actor for that reason.

One does not simply do that...
Double A Batteries yes, one must be extremely lucky to take out a ac-130 with a RPG. Also RPGs don't lock on to anything so the lock on alarm should be ringing.
I'm pretty well aware of the obvious flaws. To kill an AC130 with an RPG, the pilot must be on crack and incredibly stupid or the RPG user is MLG pro who bends physics to their will (or both)

never said RPGs are guided. And at some stage or another, the AC-130 HAS to fly low. Or are they always airborne at 50,000 ft in your little dream world? Ever thought about how low they are on take off and landing? RPGs would be more effective against an AC-130 than a guided missile simply because there is no lock-on and that means the AC-130 cannot detect an approaching rocket and therefore flares wouldn't be deployed. You just have to be able to estimate with a great degree of accuracy how fast the RPG can go, how fast the aircraft is moving, its altitude etc, and fire the RPG at the spot where the aircraft is going to be. Tricky as fuck but very definitely possible.

Except the part where Price gets 1 shot kills with an M4A1 when he shoots their ballistic vests.
Not to mention Soap should have AT LEAST lost a limb from the RPG; the shock wave, blast force, AND shrapnel should have killed him. Also, if they were using AK-74Ms, Price's left arm should have been blown off at the shoulder, or at least seriously injured and possibly disabled for life.
ballistic vest are to decrease more serious injurys the will only completely stop up to about a 9mm

Actually, the Russians have designed a heat-seeking rocket for the RPG-7. AC-130s should fly at a higher altitude, but in some situations, the IR camera cannot break through the clouds.
