Its hilarious how manipulative abusers can be. One of them was screaming at me like a banshee and I was keeping a calm voice.
She threw some plates and I raised my voice and told her she can’t do that. All of a sudden she was “scared” and told me I wasn’t allowed to raise my voice. My mother was like this about two weeks ago we had to put her in a hospital. She ran out of the house screaming the house is on fire and that she was burning. She was so convinced she even started pouring water on her head and attempted to pour some on mine as well before I stopped her. She also thought my dad was doing all this stuff to her like stealing her money ect. Even though she barricaded her door every night she still believed that he was coming in and stealing from her. The last day she was at home she strangled and scratched my father in the neck area leaving a footlong red mark on his throat down into his chest. Apparently when she got to the hospital she didn't remember anything that happened at home that day.

I've been a victim of abuse from a GF who turned crazy. It was the WORST no-win situation I've experienced in over half a century as a man. Nobody takes a male domestic abuse victim seriously! Starting with the police, they act mock-sympathetic "Why don't you just break up with her?" That is the problem I called you out for, she won't LEAVE. Then they act stern and victim-blaming, saying there's nothing they can do it's a civil matter and telling me in no uncertain terms if they get called out again they will arrest and jail ME leaving her free run of MY house.
Family, friends, even strangers have zero respect for you... why would you LET this happen? Because a woman can and does get away with literally anything but once a man lifts a finger in self defense she cries VICTIM and everyone brands him as an ABUSER. As a man you are presumed GUILTY and not allowed to testify in your own defense of innocence. Even strangers who know nothing about the situation won't listen, they will interrupt your second sentence to cross examine you with "Well why didn't you do THIS? Well maybe you should have done THAT..." Doesn't matter that you did literally everything "right," the benefit of every doubt goes to the woman. No matter how much evidence you present, people still consider the man "at fault, somehow."
I'll never forget the day I finally got in court a LONG time after filing. She showed up in court to contest the restraining and move-out order when she had (unknown to me and incidentally every cop who came out to deal with her and ended up scolding and belittling ME) two active warrants! Previously, the court was buzzing with activity and not so hushed conversations between clients and attorneys, and several restraining order cases before mine the Judge told the parties to go out in the hallway and try to hash out some detail or other rather than the court doing it. But in my case the Judge tore into her over my long list of allegations and the police reports, summarily granted the move-out and maximum period of restraining order, then two deputies appeared at her sides, handcuffed her, and led her up the aisle of the now stunned-silent courtroom to jail!

Having mental health issues isn't a choice but treating them and being compliant is. I work with severe mental health patients and thats the difference between living with a diagnosis happily and contributing to society and being an active addict/abuser/homeless/etc. At least in my experience that's the difference. Even severe schizophrenia when one chooses treatment and sobriety, wheather with meds or therapy, can be a person who functions and lives quite normally and someone who doesn't.

1:34 “What are you crying about?” “It’s the best technique I’ve found for getting my way and manipulating people. I’ve perfected it over a lifetime of personal irresponsibility.” At least that would have been a truthful answer. I feel bad for the officers who have to repeatedly deal with this nonsense. I’m not implying this woman doesn’t have mental issues that need to be treated, but having disorders doesn’t mean you are innocent of being manipulative or abusive.

It should be based on the behavior of that moment and that officer came there already thinking he was taking her to jail and he didn’t care what Else was happening!!

@@jamillah3333 I disagree completely. Removing people from society who can't live in our society helps sane and decent people who ARE able to live in society. If someone can't stop hurting people and/or animals, stealing, or causing property damage, that person needs to be removed from society as soon as possible. Whether the criminal is personally "helped" by being removed from society is a separate question. The far more urgent concern is "How do we keep law-abiding people safe from the lunatics and those who are unable to follow the law?"

As a DV survivor I’d like to say to men that YOU ARE NOT a woman beater if your defending your self. If a woman attacks you, you have the right to defend yourself and you should. Just because it’s a woman does not give her the right to treat you like that.
Please don’t put up with this abuse get her arrested and get an order to keep her away.
In my case it got worse after I threw him out and only stopped after I moved away.
I just wanted to say that as a lot of men won’t hit back because it’s a woman.
