I love the depiction of Joker in the story and his final scene with Superman is fantastic. Classic Joker. And you are right rogues. Back Issues are usually better than most mainstream stories, but sadly never collected. For some stupid reason, DC didn't include the Chuck Dixion Riddler story in their Riddler Arkham collection. I agree about Chuck Dixon. The man was such a great writer. I really loved Vengeance of Bane, which really established Bane as an excellent character and perfect threat to Batman. It was such flawless set-up for Knightfall and Chuck really shone during that whole era and throughout the 90s. All these Joker stories you’ve listed sound great. I remember reading the ‘Death of Batman: The Motion Picture” years ago and really enjoying it. I’ll check out the other ones. Thanks for the recommendations. Great vid.

@@fynnthefox9078 it's been a long time since I read it but I feel that character portrayals are completely off, the dialogue is mediocre and I don't like the art. It was actually a pretty cool story, it took place on one of the anniversary of Jason Todd’s death. Also, check out the Spectre #51. And the Joker story in Gotham Central .
Nice rundown. One of my favorite Joker stories is "With a Price on His Head." In it, a wealthy businessman whose son was murdered by the Joker puts out a $50 million bounty on whoever kills the clown. So Batman has to actually keep the Joker hidden in the batcave and try to defuse the situation as almost all of Gotham (including several other members of his rogues gallery) are out to collect, not caring how much collateral damage is caused. If you ever do a video on overlooked Riddler stories, I'd recommend "Dark Knight, Dark City", and "The Oldest One in the Book"

The ideal Joker to me has always been one that is insane, causes chaos without even trying, and has a dark cruel sense of humor. Or sometimes does something that is completely random on a whim. I don't like it when writers try to get too philosophical with him, for instance, the killing joke, the dark knight ECT...

Well, we did get an episode of TAS at least, which was nice.
Hey Mr. Rogues, 2 questions: what’s the name of the guitar theme from the intro & can you do a video on Bane? Thanks. I’m a big fan of your deep dives.
It's called "Strange Ways", and I've already done many Bane videos. Thanks!
Best blue beetle comics please
Happy Summer 😀
Love that video good job
Knightsquest both contains one of the best Joker stories but also one of the best Scarecrow stories.
I think I’ve read that story, is it called God of Fear and have Anarky in it?
@@goblintributemaker2539 yup.
Can you do forgotten batman villain KGBeast?
I was happy to see him in the new "Harley Quinn" trailer ^^ Too bad he doesn't have his "Rebirth" design, but he still looks cool.
(at least he doesn't wear that Village People-inspired monstrosity that he was rocking in his first story, the "Ten Nights of the Beast">
He's more underrated than forgotten
One of my facorite and overlooked Joker sory is the one told on Wonder Woman 281-283, in the Huntress back ups. The Joker is really sinister, and evil on this story.
I actually own Devils Advocate, ist is great indeed
So are you going to see The Joker origin movie I heard it takes influence from The Killing Joke
Some parts of it
Does that mean we will see lists like.
Top 5 best joker cartoons?
A review of the joker movie trilogy?
A new series called "Joker movie villains"?
And so on?
We definitely need that, we can’t have Joker not be overused on this channel like everything else.
I think some people are suck to fucking death of Joker at this point.
Yes, it will! In fact, I'll even change my name to Mr. Joker!
@@mr.rogues4145 'reporting from Arkham asylum, this is Mr. Joker."
Well Joker is like a living cartoon, if I not have to mention underrated marvel villain madcap
Yo good video
The ideal Joker to me has always been one that is insane, causes chaos without even trying, and has a dark cruel sense of humor. Or sometimes does something that is completely random on a whim. I don't like it when writers try to get too philosophical with him, for instance, the killing joke, the dark knight ECT...
Hey, I read the psychic one and the Knightquest one(s)
I loved azrael: agent of the bat #53 where joker captures an orphan and azrael has to save him. The event took place during no man's land
When are you going to do Forgotten or underrated characters?
Don't know; don't really feel like it at the moment.
Even if he was innocent of the stamp murders in Devil's Advocate Joker should still have been executed for all the murders he actually had committed.
Hi Mr. Rogues are you gonna pick up Detective Comics #1008 ?
3:21 I guess they never miss H U H
I fucking hate myself
