I think that Cattarrian feels really soothed by kripp's voice! I can't believe how chilled this cat looks in every video. And it always likes to sit around kripp. :3
The cat and Kripp has gone into a routine... Why is the cat ALWAYS coming into the room and lies on that place whenever he is recording xD Kind of hilarious!
I dont really ever comment on Krips vids despite watching him for years, but seriously, 100% Hearthstone videos for this long is making me pretty much tune out entirely.
In the game you played (@13:57), your opening hand was Razorfen Hunter, Harvest Golem, Noble Sacrifice, and Hammer of Wrath. If, instead of drafting the god-awful Razorfen Hunter, you had taken Mech Warper, it would have been in your opening hand instead of that Razorfen. This means your opener could have been: Turn 1: Coin Mechwarper ---> Shaman didn't have removal in his hand (all he had was Stormforged, which wouldn't do a thing on a single turn) Turn 2: Harvest Golem on 2 mana Turn 3: Topdeck Piloted shredder, play it on 3 mana Turn 4: Option to Hammer of Wrath or play 2 minions Turn 5: Topdeck a massive Frostwolf Warlord KRIPP, THINK OF THE VALUE. MECHWARPER ALWAYS WORTH, YOU SAID IT YOURSELF G_G
sorry for the maybe dumb question, but why not play the pint sized in turn 2? you get a little more damage, and the posibility of a cheaper drop if needed in the nex couple of turns that it may be alive. also it's unlikely to survive (therefore to be usefull) in the late game, so saving it does not seem like a good choice
because both other creatures in his hand were 3 drops, so pint sized wouldn't have done anything before turn 4. Also in general using your hero power as much as possible when you have no need to "extend" your cards is a decent tactic. But as you said pint sized also had some upsides (the possibility to top deck a 4 drop for exemple) so i think it would have been okay too. There's not always a better or worst play is what i'm trying to get at i think.
and he knew he was gonna get a good trade cause he had 'get down' up as a secret. so he would rather finish off a trade with a 1/1 hero power than a regular card.
Kripp's Cat : Rank-Legendary, Mana Cost-0, 1/2, Special Power-Has a 50% chance of trying to ruin a game session as much as possible, while remaining all cuddly and sweet
Ok, so I paused on each decision in the draw to see if we picked the same cards (because I want to get better) and I made a different decision on the last choice. So can someone explain to me why he would pick a really good unit over the card draw? When looking at the choice, I was really enticed by the Golem, because it looked really good and he had too few big, end-game creatures. Buuut, in those situations at the end where a big minion can stump you, it seems good to have card draw to either get a good answer or some good (or many smaller) minions to kill it. Was it purely because it is a good end game minion that he wanted more of, or is it because it basically is 2 minions (2 cards) for 6 Mana, ensuring that you get 2 mid-size creatures vs the 8 mana for 3 cards that could be smaller/worse than the 2x 4-6 mana creatures AND that you also have to pay more mana to play those 3? Meaning he would have picked the card draw if it was vs a single large unit instead of a 2-in-1?
hey kripp i know this is a hearthstone video but, I was playing Call of Duty 4 and i am having some real trouble. I just played a great game of team death match . After the game i went to check the leader boards and now that all the girls have stopped reading does anyone know any good porn sites
4:02 No two drop that kills it huh? did you forget about Haunted Creeper 1/2 then breaks into two 1/1 thus popping divine shield then double 1/1 to kill it
Paladin and Mage are the top arena classes right now. Mage is picked most of the time when players are given the option to pick. Whatever you pick try and avoid warrior.
Well you also have to factor in the 250 or so dollars you spent when GvG came out right? I'm sure that might help 'mediocre' (by regular arena draft never sees any amount similar to those 'decent' cards) decks end up with 12 wins.
kripp talks about muster for battle, shieldbot, quartermaster as being the reason for paladin's recent success yet showcases a game which feature none of these cards. he won because he topdecked equality, which is something that paladin has always had. so casual.
All my 12 wins were Paladin - and they were even before GvG. IMO you Forget the good carddraw opportunities Paladin has. Hammer of wrath draws a Card (which has saved you), Blessing of wisdom draws about 2 Cards on average, buffing an acolythe caa make that draw 3 or more Cards, and Cultmaster might also work well with the 1/1s. I try to always get Blessing of Wisdom and / or Cultmaster, so I can draw a lot of cards on my opponents. With that I made some really good runs even with mediocre decks.
I've faced paly decks in arena FULL of divine shield minions, it's extremely hard to keep up with that, even tho they generally have low HP it's basically 2 for 1 till they can actually pop a mob/hero power then it gets completely out of control, palys are making DA comeback.
David Bernhard There is one problem with sheep... it also kills your stuff. So sometimes it isn't "1 to 1" but maybe "2 to 3" or something like that. But yeah, it kills minibot.
Basicly the paladin doesnt really have bad cards, and the only combo wombo type shit he has is quartermaster, which honestly if you play it with 1-2 recruit on the board is already worth the cost. plus some classes need rare cards for aoe, or simply dont have alot of aoe, those are basicly free wins
Equality, Consecration x3, Hammer x2, Harvest Golem, Piloted Shredder, Spectral Knights x2, frostwolf, Ooze, Shatter Sun, Stormwind Champ, Silverhand Knight, Piloted Sky Golem, quarter master, and a Legendary Black Knight ... damn I wish I have more of these "piece of crap" drafts.
I've gotten twelve wins with Paladin six times, with one time being 12-0, one time since GvG's release, and in my opinion, Paladin's hero ability is usually terrible. It just gets equalized by Mage/Druid/Rogue, and most other classes seem to be able to deal with the 1/1s just fine. The only classes that struggle against the hero ability is Warrior, Shaman, and Priest if he's behind on board. Warrior is rare in arena, so that advantage is usually moot, and Shamans at high wins often win anyways with an unfair amount of Fire Elementals. I often really hate the Paladin hero ability because I'll be soooo close to killing the opponent but my hero ability does absolutely nothing to help me win. Paladin is the only class where I've gotten the opponent down to 1hp yet lost because I lost board control and couldn't draw a way to deal the last damage. Anyways, I think Paladin is good in arena because of these cards: Truesilver, Blessing of Kings, Aldor Peacekeeper, Guardian of Kings. Those are it. Truesilver and BoK are both basically 4 mana Argent Commanders, Aldor is Paladin's one way ticket to neutering some big dude (and nowadays you basically need Aldor or BGH, else Force Tank MAX just wrecks you), and Guardian of Kings is the solution to the 'jungle' Kripp was talking about, with the added bonus that the Guardian of Kings also saves you from Hunter and Mage who are threatening you with hero ability and fireball respectively. Paladin also has Consecrate, Hammer of Wrath, and Argent Protector, and they are all good, but you usually don't need these cards if you have multiple copies of the above mentioned four. Muster for Battle and Shield bot are great cards, but for the most part Paladin is the same dude he's been since before GvG.
His point was not classes having trouble dealing with the 1/1. His point was that they have to deal with it, or roll the dice on things getting out of hand.
lkjkhfggd I dont ever play constructed pala, but the 3 times ive gotten 12 wins in arena, its been with pala. I really think youre underestimating the power of equality and the hero power: yes vs a mage its bad, but if you have any other creature on the board with 1 hp remaining you can hero power, and vs rogue or warrior you can put taunts. Also: if you dont have anything amazing to play then trading mana is acceptable, imo. Also nr 2 : Muster is an amazing card in itself, especially in arena
I feel like rogue is a class that beats every other class except mage, and paladin is just all around consistent. I average about 7 wins on mage, 9+ on paladin, and 10+ on rogue. Every other class needs crazy synergies in their draft in order to perform well. Shaman is definitely the weakest, at least for me, since their hero power is bad against the midrange tempo decks that are usually meta in arena, and they lose extra hard to AoE. Though every time I draft paladin, I get the sickest drafts. I've had double tirion, I've had alextrasza and leeroy (I've gotten that combo more than once in a draft before lol, once with leeroy at 4 mana and once after gvg), and I've had thermaplug, which is amazing with truesilver and the paladin heropower.
Only problem with rogue is that going through the less than 3 win gauntlet is quite tough if you stumble even a litlle. Once you get past the hunters it is just as you said, even the weakest rogue decks can fight with the craziest non mage control decks.
1. He didn't say totem shaman is shit. He said paladin hero power is better than shaman 2. Totem shaman is shit 3. This video is almost a year old FailFish✅
in my last arena runs palas was nor problem for me i must say...maybe its my playstil i had 2 times a mage and 2 time a rougue and win against 3 odr 4 paladins the lst times...
Kripp is still wrong about pally being bad in constructed. For anyone who has watched the recent tournaments or watched high ranked streamers, pally is if anything stronger after GVG. With muster + Quartermaster combo, they can instantly get a crazy board most of the time. Also divine shield pally is alot better now with annoy-o-tron, shielded minibot and the new pally weapon that gives divine shield. Pally may have gotten better in arena, but they aren't ''dead'' in constructed like some people think.....
Ok kripp, it's good that you talks about what the cards are good for and all that but Jesus, talking in eleven minutes and twenty seven seconds? Come on Q.Q
I think that Cattarrian feels really soothed by kripp's voice!

"No More Well Met!"-Old Kripp
That's still his opinion. He meant in constructed.
Ghostneedle1 How is pally bad in constructed? It still has the OP as hell Minibot. Also, MFB + Quartermaster is a scary combo.
blyjd91 Just watch the video that Morxplays is referring to. Krip explains it all.
Ghostneedle1 well paladin is one of the best if not the best constructed class at the moment ^^
goskodovesche no it isn't

shaman is good yet paladin is better therefore zlatan is the best
lay on hands is too slow and skygolem is good
Hey Kripp are u planning on playing the new Dragon Age game? Seems to like a pretty fun ARPG for you
What is Kripps outro song? The orchestral one?
hey kripp i know this is a hearthstone video but, I was playing Call of Duty 4 and i am having some real
trouble. I just played a great game of team death match . After the game
i went to check the leader boards and now that all the girls have
stopped reading does anyone know any good porn sites
I love watching Kripp eat, this man is glorious.
What is that music at the end of each video?
I never noticed the cat until 6 minutes in.
Kripp when will you change the image inside the K to a hearthstone themed character. (chugga maybe?)
can someone please explain his shirt?
Won my first Lightforge Key because of this. Thanks Krip.
4:02 No two drop that kills it huh? did you forget about Haunted Creeper 1/2 then breaks into two 1/1 thus popping divine shield then double 1/1 to kill it
The only thing that can out value the shielded mini bot as a two drop is the perfect value bomber, one to the shield and two for the kill.
Paladin and Mage are the top arena classes right now. Mage is picked most of the time when players are given the option to pick. Whatever you pick try and avoid warrior.
who the hell is the one at 16:38 that gives the food ?! :P
I feel exactly the same! I get 6-7 wins with ANY pala deck! It's soo strong!
maybe a noob question but how does wailing soul combo with equality when it silences does it give all there health back?
Yeah, It gives their health back. :) It also unfreezes minions if they're frozen.
TanyAntagonist nice
Is Rania a mute?
Was that momarrian? We've seen papparrian so far.
Didn't you just have a video entitled no more Well met?
Ship's Cannon can trade well with Shielded Minibot though.
17:56 he`s like "this sandwich is fucking AMAZing"
"Why is Paladin so good in Arena?" Skip the video, the answer apparently is: Because you have the chance to topdeck Equality.
Why do you have the word Tournament in the Video tags -.-
11:25 if you want to skip the talk ;)
I got a question; how good is the Neptulon?
Not that good coz overload 3 is too much basically 10 mana 7-7
shuvo rahman not really you can play it on turn 7 and on turn 8 you can play all the murlocs pretty much
Agreed, the paladin 1/1s were usually ignored, now you have to kill em because of quartermaster.
Well you also have to factor in the 250 or so dollars you spent when GvG came out right? I'm sure that might help 'mediocre' (by regular arena draft never sees any amount similar to those 'decent' cards) decks end up with 12 wins.

umm...ok then

Thus is my second day playing Hearthstone with Paladin and i agree the control is crazy. Omly champ i have problems with is Warlock

Ancient watcher beats the shielded minibot if they're forced to fight and lightwell can't die to it, mad bomber can kill it with battlecry alone ;)
Thanks for showing us the ending and what happens :D

Actually there is a 2 drop that trades with the mini bot. The explosive sheep^^
Trade AND don't die
"Recently I playd some arena", yeah quite recently u playd SOME arena, for like past 365 days 12 hours a day. Yeah, a little bit arena never too much!
no shit this made my day
ahahhaha
Sabakinno Damn it Sabakinno, you're too smart for Kripp.
+Sabakinno still better than my job... only just.
I am still in the face jungle and I seem to have lost my way out.
"I had total shit in my deck, I got nothing good" - gets black knight...
Pallys doing great in constructed aswell!
4:03 false: Mad Bomber with 3 perfect hits.
Is your cat in background allright? He doesnt move...
Got my first 12 wins using Paladin yesterday, and I didn't even think the deck was that great (No consecrate)
Hey guys how's it join Kripparrian here.
Cattarian is like "Yeh, yeh Kripp... ResidentSleeper"
Whose the food fairy?
Cant Ironbeak owl kill minibot 1 to 1?
+Jimmy Payan Not if minibot was played after owl.
+WarriorF7 but explosive sheep can do so
David Bernhard There is one problem with sheep... it also kills your stuff. So sometimes it isn't "1 to 1" but maybe "2 to 3" or something like that. But yeah, it kills minibot.

3 consecrates is pretty baller though so i wouldnt call it a bad deck. I swear lately ive barely been able to get any aoe on any class.
I always do crap with paladin. For some reason all 3 of my 12 wins have been with shaman so I usually pick it.
2 of the 12 win gvg arenas I did were pally :P but I usually get 8+ wins with it
Is there a rabbit behind kripp? :|
3:18 i stop listening to Kripp and watch cat
Equality, Consecration x3, Hammer x2, Harvest Golem, Piloted Shredder, Spectral Knights x2, frostwolf, Ooze, Shatter Sun, Stormwind Champ, Silverhand Knight, Piloted Sky Golem, quarter master, and a Legendary Black Knight ... damn I wish I have more of these "piece of crap" drafts.

Long story short: Paladin is so good in the arena because of WELL MET
oh man, that entire game is going out of control...
he hammered the taunter when he should have hammered the flame tongue totem at the first match.
mad bomber can kill it for free if all 3 hits it. :p the shielded minibot ^^
Explosive sheep trades into shielded minibot perfectly :)
I feel like rogue is a class that beats every other class except mage, and paladin is just all around consistent. I average about 7 wins on mage, 9+ on paladin, and 10+ on rogue. I dont know man whenever i get to the 10-11 win range I always encounter a shitload of shamans, mage and random stuff before it though.
Rogue must lose a lot then because arena is all mages
Kappa

the 2-3 which damages a random enemy for 1 can win the minibot
+L100X Flame Juggler did not even exist when this video was made.
I did a Paladin run today went 11-3 and I think about 10 of then were Rogue.
i dont get how this draft was bad... 3 consecrates and a very good amount of high quality minions
only bad thing about it was no truesilvers.
What? Totem shaman is just shit now? Do you know how many times I lose to a healing totem or a Flametounge totem?
1. He didn't say totem shaman is shit. He said paladin hero power is better than shaman
2. Totem shaman is shit
3. This video is almost a year old
FailFish✅
+Olli Järvinen Yeah I think shaman hero power is objectively the worst, while justicar shaman hp is one of the better ones.
Well topdecked, as usual.
you call that a bad draft? I usually get NO legendaries.
mad bomber can kill shielded minibot and stay on board :)
in my last arena runs palas was nor problem for me i must say...maybe its my playstil i had 2 times a mage and 2 time a rougue and win against 3 odr 4 paladins the lst times...
