There is so many fantastic places in FL to kayak!! We live in west central FL and the kayaking is endless. Dolphins, sharks, turtles and so much more sea life to be seen! Looks like the family had such a great time!!! Kayaking = tranquility
The mangroves also do a great job of mitigating the effects of a surge during hurricanes. New Orleans learned that AFTER they were devastated by Katrina. They are trying to restore the ecosystem they had deliberately removed many years before. The lesson: respect nature. She has better ways than mankind. This is a great video! We will be joining the fun in our new camper soon, and I’d love to do this activity!
Lots of campgrounds in the area, we prefer using our Thousand Trails membership so we stick to those campgrounds. The closest to New Smyrna Beach is Rose Bay
