Whats the name / size of the drill bit? Its star shaped
I know this is an old thread, however just removed mine on the 2015 F13. The top and side clips are accessible as you described. I couldn’t release the bottom ones as they fit under a rubber shroud. However if you gently bend the grill forward then twist gently from the side the bottom ones release. Great video and very helpful 👍

Seems like a common prob, I have that same model & issue in mine, also saw other 650i years have that problem

Was having trouble taking off the clips I broke the bottom clips
The bottom clips were the hardest to reach. You just have to be patient and take your time with those.

Great Video C Rob, very helpful .. One thing I did notice was the gap between the bonnet (hood) and the front panel was bigger on the left hand side when you closed the Hood. So it appears you have to be careful lining up the front panel when you screw it back together to make sure the gap is even right across
