HA! I wish I had a penny for every time I cut my thumb trimming the parts like that, when I started building models. But you live and learn, and it's part of the learning curve.
Nice job, mate 👍. With mg-34 me personally would have painted it silver, then gave it a wash with a darker colour, and just kept using it till I got the desired effect. Great work again 👌.
I play a SS army for Bolt Action. All of my reference books of WW2 uniforms were lost to a house fire so I mainly compare your videos and stills I can find here and there.
An absolutely outstandingly realistic figure painting masterclass.. I particularly like the partially slumped stance that gives an air of weariness to the chap.. Thanks ATVB Scott Somerset
Stunning work mate! You have some fantastic painting skills and i bet that working on such a lovely figure was very enjoyable. Those figures look sweet man, very sharp detail.
nice figure and great job. Wondering what prompted the change from German Camo Black Brown to stark black for the leather items. For me there a little too much contrast with just black
Hi Ian. Very nice figures from DMD. Well detailed and with nice poses. They figure of the MG gunner looks more than well after your paint job!! Surely good to use in a diorama scene. Unfortunately, DMD doesn't make these figures in 1/72. Maybe in the future. Best wishes, Joachim
Thanks......the metalwork was Black and dry brushed with a Light Flesh and the stock was Saddle Brown as far as I can remember (all Vallejo Model Color)👍
Really enjoin to watched this German figure paint... In step by step. Thanks
Most days I'm a malfunction...
Grand job as always

Nice job. Reminds me 40 years ago as I paint my soldiers. But they where far far smaller.
