Quality content, as always, Kaelyn! ❤❤❤ x
I just completed my MSc at the University of Edinburgh and got a job in a museum I studied art history but really would like to return to my Ph.D. I've been thinking of working for a few years before jumping back into academia and getting a taste for the industry side of the arts.
That sounds like an EXCELLENT idea!
This video is so helpful. I’m a non traditional student.. you have helped me so much through your videos. I can’t thank you enough! I actually have to apply to my graduate program in the middle of my junior year of undergrad. I go to the University of Iowa and they have great undergrad to graduate programs that save you time. It is because of your videos that encouraged me to think big and dream big. I applied to undergraduate school with my dissertation already planned. I knew what deadlines, classes, graduate study and phd goals I had when applying for college. And I want to thank you, honestly from the bottom of my heart for the motivation and knowledge you have and chosen to share to help people. You may not know me but to me you are a dear friend. Your vision for Accepted Society is beautiful, and you may describe it as a business but to me it’s truly a miracle. You remind me that there is still some hope in the world and you’re making a huge impact. I know this because you’ve made a huge impact in my life. Big hug from Cedar Rapids, Iowa! - Angie
I love your videos! I'm halfway through my BA in Humanities and making plans for grad school. Your videos have helped me so much to get organized, stay on the scholarly track, and ways to be set up for success.
Thank you for the amazing video, Kaelyn! I would add one point - being a Master's student at Cambridge myself and having no one to count on during the application process. Your will to make it work will get you through all four phases. It will demand your dedication, effort, and time, and constantly reminding yourself that you are doing what you should be doing and that you can achieve whatever you want. This is fundamental to get through it all!
I am entirely overwhelmed researching and preparing to apply for Ph.D. programs in History. Thank you so much for your guidance and continuation in making these videos, they are SO helpful. Graduate school is a big and scary world, thank you for your assurance and advice :) Would love to connect with you!
This video is so underrated, this is some of the best quality content on university admission!
Thank you so much!!!!
This is very helpful. My god-grandmother told me to research 3 schools after telling her I wanted to get a master's in psycholinguistics in the EU (hopefully in either France, Belgium, or Switzerland), and this gives me an outline of what to research because I haven't researched schools since my undergrad. I often feel like I'm going to have to overcompensate since I'm going into a field that's a 180 from my undergrad. Thanks!
I also wanna do a PhD in psycholinguistics, currently doing my masters.:) good luck !
This came at the PERFECT time! I'm finishing my MA thesis to defend in the fall, and this fall I'll be applying to PhD programs. Thank you so much for giving me a starting point so I can move forward with this whole daunting process!!! ❤
Good luck with your thesis!!! I hope this video is helpful
Thank you for this guide! Perfect timing to prepare for the autumn/winter application season.
This is insightful, Thank you^^♡
I am considering a PhD studies in the EU. I just completed my MBA so this is super helpful. I will be using the toefl link
I sent my first email to a professor today 😊
I’m studying my Masters now in international relations and I’m planning to apply for PhD after this! I just am not sure if I should!! Need to do more research about all this
Hi Kaelyn! I’m going into my second year of college at an American university. I am a joint major in History and Sociology. After I graduate I intend on going to Law school in the UK. I have done some research and I found that the application process for Law school in the UK is much different than here in the US. Can you offer any suggestions as to what I can do currently to help strengthen my resume/academic background that would help aid me in the application process for UK law school programmes?
I've been thinking about doing a Phd lately, but i have a job offer for a role i am interested in and that could really strengthen my profile. I think my approach would be to work within industry to develop my knowledge and experience and find a subject area i am more interested in. In the mean time I'd just be filling my knowledge gaps with some short courses in preparation for that when i'd apply.
How can i contact with you
I would like to enrolled into the PHD programme after my masters in UK.
Excellent goal! What do you study?
