- XM Studios' new wave of X-Men statues starts of hot with the release of the Dark Phoenix! The second Phoenix related statue to be released by XM, but this time her darker, evil side is showcased. The Phoenix saga is one of the most iconic stories in Marvel history, so how does this statue live up to the Phoenix legacy?

I like how the Phoenix was done, not too large and overwhelming and painted well. Good pick up.
WOW, SHE LOOKS AMAZING. MAD CONGRATS.👊🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Edwin Diaz she is amazing! Thanks for watching, Edwin.
Get my beauty the following week, thanks for your nice review!
Ahap Albin I’m sure you will love it! Thanks for watching!
Another great review. This statue looks amazing! I have it coming in hopefully next week, looking forward to it :D
Great review as always!!!! Beautiful piece!!!
STATUE FANATIC thanks!
Wow, this statue is stunning...that firebird, unreal! Great job on your reviews, the production quality is outstanding.
Thanks so much for watching! Yes, this is a beautiful statue!
Beautiful Statue, Congrats......Great Review :)
Rally Design TV thanks for watching!
Absolutely stunning! I wish I would have got this piece. Solid review my brotha!👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾
Thanks! I am glad to have picked this one up.
Congratulations! It's a great piece! Great review as usual
Thanks, Brian!
MAD CONGRATULATIONS, you got an AMAZING STATUE. Gonna look into getting this one. I got a pre-order on GAMBIT and MYSTIQUE. Also looking at OMEGA RED, a NIGHT CRAWLER & ARCHANGEL would be killer.
I have quite a few X-Men statues coming over the next year or so, too, lol
Great review! I agree with your assessment of the portraits and your favorite is my favorite as well. The only issue that mine has is the “calm” portrait has a pretty noticeable casting line. I’m not one to nitpick but it is totally noticeable and I do hope XM will replace it. Thanks again for another great review!
Hmmm, that's too bad about the issue on the portrait...probably the most noticeable place it could possibly be! I am sure you will get the appropriate resolution.
great review , thank you
i love dark phoenix xm !
Thank you! Glad you like the statue!
An XM Archangel would be epic!!!!!!
Yeah it would!
A beautiful statue but 1600 bucks...wow, that's pretty steep.
74Bogie this entire hobby is getting priced out of reach...sometimes I think I’m crazy!
This is incredible. To this day I still believe Sideshow has given us the best female statue w/ Red Sonja 2015 that said XM's Dark Pheonix is absolutely stunning.
congrats buddy ive ordered this one also hmm do u have any issues with this?
I haven't noticed anything so far...I think I got a good one. Hope yours is great as well.
thanks buddy hope mine also 🙏
im not hating but bro these aren't reviews, you use to do great reviews when you would go over every aspect of the piece, that's what a review is, its going over all aspects of the piece and pointing out all the positives and negatives of the statue, this is just 3 things you like about the piece, the way you did reviews before was perfect when you broke it down into categories like base, paint, sculpt & design, pose, portraits, and execution or something similar to those, for me the most important information in a statue review is the negative stuff like what the reviewer didn't like about the piece, what fell short with the design, paint, or execution, and what flaws may exist in any of those categories, that way I know or at least have an idea of whether or not the flaws are bad enough to prevent me from purchasing, cancel my preorder, or if they are something I can over look and still be happy with the piece...honestly the most useless info in a review is the reviewers favorite things about the statue, because that's 100% subjective and you could have 10 people look over the same statue and there's a good chance that no two people would have the exact same top 3 list, they would all vary in some way...I really hope im not coming off like an asshole cuz im really not trying to be an ass, im just tryin to say the way you use to do reviews when you posted on the StatueForum channel was perfect and what your doin now are not reviews theyre just a list of ur three favorite things about the statue...
I appreciate the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed my work at the previous channel. For me, the previous format involved a lot of splitting hairs, and touching on those 4 categories (sculpt, paint, production quality, design) inherently involved quite a bit of repetition...meaning longer videos.
Personally, I prefer the new format. I am still talking about a lot of the same things, but in a more efficient way (in my opinion). This review, for example: Number 3: spoke specifically about Production quality/engineering of the piece, Number 2: fire/flames sculpt, paint, and design, Number 1: portrait sculpt, paint and design. I believe I still covered everything off that I would have in the past, but in about 5 minutes less time. What I feel are the three best things are almost always derived from those 4 original categories.
I am sorry to hear you do not like the new format, but, I'll have to disagree with you...I am absolutely still reviewing the piece. I try to focus on positives (too much negativity in the hobby, imo), but I still highlight issues that may occur...here, I spoke on the visible seams on the bird. If there is a more pressing issue or multiple issues, I will create a separate segment specifically for that.
Take it easy, and I hope you stick around with the channel.
@@BmuthaReviews of course im gonna stick around and still tune in, you have a great collection and get some amazing pieces, speaking of which ever do you have any plans on doing a room/collection tour?...anyways back to the topic at hand...have you ever thought about, in addition to your three favorite things about the statue, doing a 3 least favorite things about the statue segment, thatll give some balance to the review and make it possible for you to clearly communicate any shortcomings, flaws, and overall problems the statue might have, rather than just a quick mention that can easily be missed
A room tour is always something I've thought about...lighting and what not can be tricky...but, someday I will do it.
I may look at adding segments to the reviews in the future...if I can find a way to do it, but still keep the video relatively short (harder than it sounds), then it could work. Thanks for the suggestion.
