Great use of background color and the hearts! Just right for a romance writer. I used to be in charge of the paperback fiction section of the Red Cross Book Fair in my area, saw lots of romance books and many were Barbara Cartland novels. I never read any but did try to read a Harlequin Romance once to see what it was like: unbearable. Couldn't finish the second chapter. I recall The Charles-Diana wedding and reading that Barbara Cartland said she wouldn't be attending, that weddings were for young people. Maybe Ms. Cartland's health was declining at that time and attending might have been too much exertion. I once saw Barbara Cartland in an interview and she mentioned not knowing about sex until she was 19 years old and then looking at people and how weird it was to her that those people were doing THAT.
