These lyrics only reflect me the lovable being and the only Rose / Sharyn / Sharon etc, as do most other KsE lyrics -- and, most lyrics in general only reflect/describe me, myself being the only being who reflects the compliments/descriptions in most lyrics/poetry and the only being who reflects flowers and other pure elements and the only being who reflects special/unique/pretty names and big/astral/gemstone names and flower/plant/fruit names etc, and also because I am the only being who is loved, as I am the lovable being!

@@GOffensive anyone who uses kiddo on the Internet is hiding something about themself. Now get back to your emo phase of cutting yourself and combing your hair to one side
This song was my bridge from clean-vocal metal to growl-vocal metal. This band, album and song were critical in my crossing into the extreme metal genre. Forever grateful.
KSE played this live in 2022 and Jesse let Howard sing it alone. Never in my life did I think I would ever see that version of KSE, again. It was amazing.
Adam's singing here really shines. Absolutely beautiful. Love this song. Absolutely wonderful. The message, the guitars, the melodies, the vocals. Everything is beautiful.
It's heartwarming to see how many other people this song means so much to. Loss is a very powerful feeling that all of us eventually feel, and I think it's truly beautiful how this song depicts it. Almost as if going through the stages of grief itself, it starts with a heavy and aggressive intro then erupts into an emotional explosion of cathartic acceptance and slowly fades away as time passes, becoming smaller and more quiet but still present. This is exactly how I've felt with the untimely passing of my mom. I recently covered this song and it was a struggle to hold back the tears when mixing it, despite the video itself being kind of silly. I just want to thank the guys for this song and everything they've done and continue to do, they really make a difference in so many ways and I'm proud to call their art one of my main inspirations.
Wow, very beautifully written. You describe it very deeply. I've often felt grief myself despite not losing any loved ones (yet). I feel for your loss. God bless you man and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dude... I've been a fan of KsE for like 17+ years now, I've listened to this song literally countless times and of course I loved it from the very first time. On May last year unfortunately I've lost my dad to stomach cancer, he was the most kind and loving man I knew, and also by far my best friend ever. A few weeks after my dad's passing I was on my computer listening music on shuffle and this song suddenly started playing, it was the very first time that I really understood and related to the lyrics, I've cried for the entire song and continued crying afterwords, I listened to it for weeks almost non stop. Till this day I get emotional every time that I listen to it. Such a powerful and emotional song, man. RIP dad, I really miss you. Thanks KsE for existing, you guys helped me through some difficult times in my life. Shout out from Brazil.
Well…my grandma passed away today and this song hits about a million times harder now. Thank you killswitch engage for creating a song that has helped so many during tough times
This song is one my favorites of all time. I wanna get back to a point where I can listen to it normally again. It reminds me of my mom, I miss her. 😔 Hats off to these guys. Amazing song
This remains my favorite song forever still in love with all the lyrics and understanding them all too well his voice and the mixture of the band all of it is beautiful
These are some of the deepest and most meaningful lyrics ever written - and unfortunately so many people just skip right on by because they can’t “hear what he’s saying.”
I dedicate this song to my Popo. My grandpa. I miss him everyday. he was the BEST! he passed during Covi and I couldn’t be there! I miss him so fucking much!
Approaching 40yrs old and listening to KSE since they started, this song hits me so much harder after losing a parent. It will always be a beautiful ballad to me, thanks.
My grandmother had two seizures after Thanksgiving dinner of this year and died the next morning. She was 92, and was the most joyful person i knew. She was a master at piano and her music filled her home. She revealed that she could tapdance 3 weeks before she died, and seeing her do it while on her walker was amazing! Jean Clark Stevens, it won't be long, we'll meet again.
My mother passed this year in January 2021 due to covid, it pains me in the bottom of my heart not been able to save her, I listened to this song long time ago but now has a more profound meaning specially, "I mourn for those who never knew you"
The words "I mourn for those, who never knew you.." have forever altered my perception. I've lost a friend recently and honestly, it has helped me cope with the loss by enjoying the time I had him in my life.
Reporting for duty, Sir!!!! This very song is what won me over to Killswitch! Such an all round great track. Brutal heavy, cool melodic riffs and such an epic chorus... Will always be one of my favorites! :)
The greatest interview in the history of humanity is when Juliya from Uranium "interviewed" KsE for this video. Adam tied her up to a chair, put on a Juliya-like wig and read the questions she had written down... and I cannot for the life of me, find the interview.

To my mom, my aunt and my grandma. Also to my friend Alyssa, who took her own life yesterday morning. I hope you are at peace. Till I see you all again. This song means everything right now.
I am so sorry for all of your losses. May God be with you all & you meet them again one day. I hope you find peace & love.
Prayers brother.
Thank you. I appreciate the words. I was so drunk and emotional when I wrote this post.
I miss this killswitch engage....
same here brother this killswitch had that feel you cant replace.
You mean this shit screamo version?
@Eternal Rambler I wanted to see what kind of clowns listen to this screamo trash. This shit is a stain on metal music
@@51-73-i6w And you are a shitstain on humanity. And now go ask your daddy to change your diaper kiddo.
@@GOffensive anyone who uses kiddo on the Internet is hiding something about themself. Now get back to your emo phase of cutting yourself and combing your hair to one side
My good taste in music brought me here.
@bhauger1 I think it's a great song.
check out my cover, tell me if you like it.
Lol hell yeah!
2020 pandemic, kse is still the best!
Miss howard in kse
The greatest metalcore riff ever written!!
Loved this era of KSE
This looks like it was shot in Mordor.
One does not simply shoot videos in Mordor
It was, can't you see Mount Doom in the background?! lol
Crystal Nova I guess KSE successfully made a video in Mordor
Dr. Blumpkin One does not simply make a kickass video in Mordor!
its the dead manzanita forest in southern california.
This song was my bridge from clean-vocal metal to growl-vocal metal. This band, album and song were critical in my crossing into the extreme metal genre. Forever grateful.
This song goes out to my ex gf who was tragically murdered on Valentines Day...RIP A.D.
Turn yourself in, you'll feel better.
+I_H8_Unknown_Callers If you're going to be a complete piece of shit and disrespectful, you can go fuck yourself.
You can't come to the youtube comments section and expect compassion and respect from others.
What happened, was it her BF at that time or something, what were the circumstances and was the murderer caught?
+Mad Priest I won't go into detail about her murder, it's too fucked up 😕 idk if he was someone she just recently met. I hope he was caught..
KSE played this live in 2022 and Jesse let Howard sing it alone. Never in my life did I think I would ever see that version of KSE, again. It was amazing.
Adam's singing here really shines. Absolutely beautiful. Love this song. Absolutely wonderful. The message, the guitars, the melodies, the vocals. Everything is beautiful.
2024, still here and listening this masterpiece !
I always listen to this song when I'm waiting for McRib to return..

God Loves All of You!
God bless your dad my friend
This is why Howard to me is better.
agree with all the way dude.
Sorry I prefer Jesse, by far :x
i specific love both of them.
Alexis Vidal i love them both as well!! both amazing singers.. and by far best group! hands down, i love killswitch!
Stop comparing Howard and Jesse pls
That bridge/break was the most amazing thing i've ever heard than any other Hardcore band.
Lost my father 10 years ago, and i miss him today more than ever, this music makes me more hopeful of one day be able to hug him once again.
God blessed you 💕❤️
Well…my grandma passed away today and this song hits about a million times harder now. Thank you killswitch engage for creating a song that has helped so many during tough times
Wish you happiness
Mine passed around the same time. Dec 2nd. Growing up hurts sometimes my dude. Much love❤

This song is one my favorites of all time. I wanna get back to a point where I can listen to it normally again. It reminds me of my mom, I miss her. 😔 Hats off to these guys. Amazing song
Killswitch Engage just incredible
AJ Lee said it guys.
AJ Lee nuff said love them and I live in the next city over Springfield Massachusetts they formed in Westfield which is like a 30 minute drive.
R.I.P Lemmy kilmister and scott weiland two rock legends died right around the same time
What's that got to do with KSE?
all rockers are family
What a fucking dumb question.
The list keeps getting longer
This remains my favorite song forever still in love with all the lyrics and understanding them all too well his voice and the mixture of the band all of it is beautiful
Well said...this song has everything!!!
These are some of the deepest and most meaningful lyrics ever written - and unfortunately so many people just skip right on by because they can’t “hear what he’s saying.”
Y'all don't want to hear me, ya just want to dance - OutKast

There will never ever be another band like KSE
" I mourn for all those who never knew you.."
beautiful
it wont be long, will meet again...
I often cry when the song gets to that part! It's so passionate and true about so many people that we lost! Breaks my fucking heart!
This song reminds me of Jesus. The title itself represents our Savior.
See the blood? It represents Jesus. Even Howard's gestures are pointing to GOD.
15+ years. I still get goosebumps. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
This song is fucking amazing. One of their best
I edited this for you...This song is fucking amazing. Their best
pretty good track however, Just barely breathing is probably their best.
The White Wolf Definitely one of my favs
Element of One is prob my fave.

I dedicate this song to my Popo. My grandpa. I miss him everyday. he was the BEST! he passed during Covi and I couldn’t be there!
I miss him so fucking much!
I mourn for those who never knew You, Jesus.
You are my first love.
Amen! I’am beginning to think this song was about Jesus. Am I right?
Approaching 40yrs old and listening to KSE since they started, this song hits me so much harder after losing a parent. It will always be a beautiful ballad to me, thanks.
This song remainds me about dad😪 we meet again in heaven, hope so💖
My grandmother had two seizures after Thanksgiving dinner of this year and died the next morning. She was 92, and was the most joyful person i knew. She was a master at piano and her music filled her home. She revealed that she could tapdance 3 weeks before she died, and seeing her do it while on her walker was amazing! Jean Clark Stevens, it won't be long, we'll meet again.
My mother passed this year in January 2021 due to covid, it pains me in the bottom of my heart not been able to save her, I listened to this song long time ago but now has a more profound meaning specially, "I mourn for those who never knew you"
best MEtalcore song EVER!!!!!
Que melodia, que voz é essa, música fodastica... Viva o Rock💪💪
Jones era......is the best thing for KSE ...
Very emotional song
The words "I mourn for those, who never knew you.." have forever altered my perception. I've lost a friend recently and honestly, it has helped me cope with the loss by enjoying the time I had him in my life.
2019 still going strong this song!
I'M STILL LISTENING THIS SHIT IN 2K16, YOU'RE WITH ME???
Reporting for duty, Sir!!!!
This very song is what won me over to Killswitch! Such an all round great track. Brutal heavy, cool melodic riffs and such an epic chorus... Will always be one of my favorites! :)
Sad that Howard left
2K17
2018
I Will listen in 2K18
Jones era..is the best thing for kse..
I like how Howard’s just sweating bullets the whole video
The greatest interview in the history of humanity is when Juliya from Uranium "interviewed" KsE for this video. Adam tied her up to a chair, put on a Juliya-like wig and read the questions she had written down... and I cannot for the life of me, find the interview.
If I ever formed a band, and Howard Jones was available, I would snatch him up to be my vocalist in a heartbeat
I just wanted you to know, my love for you is everlasting... only if I had the chance to say it..
I'm sorry but Howard Jonas the best vocalist eternal :)
no no no
Yes yes, he's certainly the greatest of the Jonas brothers.
Chester Bennington ? Anyone ?
@@tomgreenfan Guy named fred durst disagrees rofl . Howard was legendary with this band.
