I was set on the 417ES flyback and watchbuys didn't have them in stock. I immediately ordered the Grey and Red. It was love at first sight. I'm still going to order a bund strap for it. I can't have the Hanhart without the bund.
Agree. I would love a 417es flyback in the reverse panda config. I like the white subdials are lumed. Great heritage models and value for what you can get. But, when I look seriously look at them, at least the ones I find most attractive, those are usually the more vintage looking ones and they may be a tad too vintage than I really want for myself these days.. maybe.. I have to seriously consider it I'll actually gravitate towards wearing a new watch a lot in the long run or not before buying it. As such, I don't necessarily see myself doing that with the Hanharts.. still, great German watches for their price point.
Love Hanhart! I tried on the 417ES a couple of years ago and was smitten. Preferred the 42mm to the 39mm that Steve McQueen wore. Definitely has to be worn on the Bund strap. I wasn’t aware of these new releases from Hanhart. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. The brand is great value for money as you say. Awesome Watches! ✊
Hey Bobby, I've been enjoying your Sinn and Damasko reviews. However, despite these reviews, I haven't acquired either brand. 😊 Why? It's because of Hanhart, its history, and value for money. The Hanhart 417es 1954 has been photographed on the wrist of the King of Cool when he wasn't shooting movies. And yes, I really enjoy manually winding my Hanhart too. 😊
I am living close to the very small factory. Last year I bought th blue Primus. Got me hooked. This year it will be the moby dick. If you make an appointment you get an individuall tour of the museum and workshop. They take as much time you want. Never had a better customer experience
One of the brands I must finally put my hands on :)

Never sleep on Hanhart. That is a foundational principle of German watch collecting. Well done, Bobby Legs.
Thanks Chaz
I like the look of the panda dial chronograph 🤩

Sharp watch, especially with the popping red highlights.

First I've heard of them
