Bilmuri was so real for doing this interview, congrats man this is huge! Also, I dont think this needs to be said by the Sleep Token guys know good music and are always so wholesome towards their music partners/supporting cast!
straight thru you is for sure my favorite song of the album, and being a massive sleep token and bilmuri fan before they announced their tour I get why sleep token fans would vibe with that track. I can't explain it either , but I get it.
It's a defining and often sad moment when lyrics of songs start becoming relatable. I am grateful that the songs were from Bilmuri. I get the chance to vibe along being sad, and that feeling is so unique, you end up smiling looking at Johnny's goofy faces and videos, and THAT somehow changes the whole mood. I am happy for you getting Johnny to interview and I enjoyed each and every one of your reactions to his songs
Such a down-to-earth guy putting out amazing music and playing awesome shows. I was very impressed by their performance. I wish all the best to them and I look forward to more bangers from them.
These guys should have come to the UK years ago. I only discovered them last week due to a review of the Sleep Token gig and have had them playing non stop since and bought tickets for April next year in London. Hopefully Download and other festivals book them to play next year
What a lovely warm genuine guy Johnny is! My first experience of Bilmuri was at the Amsterdam Ritual, and I dug the warmth, the honesty and the energy. Musical interest was peaked and I’m now checking them out, since. Gabby was something musically I hadn’t seen before live and she slapped. Bilmuri were great openers for my revered Sleep Token. Great interview, Steve! 🤙🏻👊🏻
Know it's been said that Johnny is a super chilled guy, and he really is, but cracking interview. Really relaxed and informative; see so many where the interviewer is just awestruck and you've clearly done your homework/settle in. (Also randomly bought you a pint in Southampton Joiners for Resolve when my friend lost his ring, small world!)
Have just finished this fully! Great interview. Johnny is absolutely amazing, appreciate his mind and how it works, also thank you for this! Will be following ❤
I’ve been around since the Attack Attack! days, so Johnny has been a part of my life for a really long time. Finally seeing them live after all this time was such a treat. I can’t wait to see them again in March in a small venue. I absolutely love that dude and wish him all the success in the world. A few years ago, while working on my first TV show, I reached out to him to ask if he’d write a song for it. I never expected a reply-I was a nobody-but to my surprise, he did. It didn't work out in the end bc the "producer" vanished with the material. Classic. Maybe next time? :)
A real treat indeed,❤It was a pleasure to watch you guys talk. I saw them in Budapest and really enjoyed them. Sleep Token was magical, pure happiness❤
I was at the show and iv been and seen 100s of bands live in my time and that one was very very fuckin special and the sound was perfect 👌 a nite embedded in my soul for eternity 🎶 ❤️
Can't wait to get stuck into this. Btw my brother and I were the ones who accosted you on the concourse at the show. Great to meet you and hope you enjoyed the show!
This interview came out HOURS BEFORE I SAW THEM LIVE in Leeds, really wish id watched it first. Loved their set either way though, and they have definitely gained more than a few new fans, myself and my partner included. 🎉
Saw them at the Amsterdam Ritual and was very impressed with their live performance and energy. Enjoyed it very much. I only knew these collabs with Dayseeker before this and those were okay, but seeing them live was an eye-opener.
Was such a good night at the o2 on Friday I'm in Leeds tonight can't wait to witness it all again billmuri deffo gained a new fan with me I was so impressed especially with the musical talent I'm a suckered for a saxophone
I was assuming before I saw this that vessel (potentially also the other ST members) were fans of Johnny and all his work and choose him primarily for this reason. And this interview validated me! I see similarities in Vessels and Johnnys sound, also assumingly in their personalities.
Saw these guys at Sleep Token in Birmingham UK last thursday, they were absolutely flawless live, they are really similar to Sleep Token in how fucking perfect they are live, Johnny's banter between songs was also funny as fuck haha, but yeh, totally flawless live, his vocals were fucking great!
The "HOO" in Better Hell is my benchmark for how well a sound system can rock my shit. For example my old car? Incredible, windows rattling, pedestrians falling over in the street, car alarms going off 3 streets over. But my new car? Absolute doo doo, I turn it down so I don't risk impacting bilmuri's legacy.
Better hell unlocked something in me the first time I heard it and after American motorsports came out it just confirmed to me how sick they are both sonically and as people.
I saw them a few months ago in a
That’s so frickin cool
Johnny is so wholesome and unapologetically himself and I love it, everything just seems fun and not too serious (other than his lyrics)
So happy you got to interview Johnny mate. Great stuff!
Cheers Josh! It was such a blast.
8:21 is one of the funniest quotes from Johnny ever, “…I’m a religious man so I was fucking praying to God…” 😂😂😂
😂
😂
I see Johnny, I click ❤ can’t wait to crank it with them in March at their GA show!
Just got to say, you did an amazing job with this interview Steve! Very slick but also very relaxed and natural. Smashed it mate!
Bilmuri was so real for doing this interview, congrats man this is huge!

Cheers! Yeah, very true.
First time hearing Bilmuri at the 02 and now have tickets to see them next year
I'll be there! Stoked.
@@SteveOGRock lucky!
Oh man, Johnny is so nice. He came out after Bilmuri set to chat with us in the front row at the Prague show. Surreal experience
What a legend

Yeah I think I know what you mean there.
And thank you, so pleased you enjoyed the videos!
Excellent interview Steve! Loved Bilmuri in Leeds last night. So much energy and the banter in between songs was some craic 😅
So stoked that you were able to snag this interview!
Saw them in Glasgow last week - absolutely tremendous. Wish their set was longer. Can’t wait till they’re back headlining.
Saw them in Berlin, came from Italy. They were awesome. Their drummer is an alien, so so skilled.
lucky! wish we got that tour in the states. xavier is such a beast behind the kit.
Johnny Franck interviews are my favorite interviews

Straight Through You and the sax is honestly one of my absolute favorites.

I absolutely love how he just seems like fuck it whatever happens happens.
Not a bad mindset to live by!
Literally just saw them at the First Direct Arena. Never heard of them before, but i am now absolutely in love with them.
Same, they were fantastic.
There’s so much good music for you to enjoy now once you head into their catalogue 🤘🏻
being a fan doing the interview works so well😊
Thank you for being Franck.

You got to interview the Hogfather!? that's so awesome 🤯🤯
My mind was truly blown
This guy gives off good vibes like Post Malone. Would be a blast to hang with
I fucking love this guy

Why is he so Wholesome. Opposite of pretentious.
100%
He reminds me so much of my old weed dealer
😂
I hate trying to say " hey google play bilmuri on spotify" and then the bear nrcessities starts playing 😅😅
😂 I feel this
Did you get yourself a steak in the Gaucho then? 😂
Oh yeah, pre-gig steak and chips dinner. It was divine haha.
Wasn’t a fan of them in Manchester. Lucky the queues were non existent when they were on. Looks like a lot of people enjoyed them tho
